Description
上述の交差紐掛装置は、サイズが大きい包装物には差し支えない。しかしながら、特定の用途、例えばサイズが比較的小さい包装物には、交差紐掛をすることはほとんど不可能、あるいは技術と時間に関して比較的多大な浪費によってのみ可能となる。
従って、例えば、既知の交差紐掛装置における包装物の搬送において先に生じた問題を避けることができる、または、従来と比較して大いに縮小することができる。なぜなら、例えば、包装物の搬送手段を事実上連続的に構成することが可能であるからである。
さらに、接続手段が、交差位置の周辺及び/または交差位置にある少なくとも1つの紐掛要素を接続するように設計されるのが好ましい。例えば、1番目の紐掛要素を交差位置の周辺で接続し、2番目の紐掛要素を交差位置で接続してもよいし、または、両方の紐掛要素をそれぞれ交差位置の周辺で接続してもよい。特に確実な方法として紐掛要素を多数の箇所で接続する場合、紐掛要素それぞれを、例えば交差位置の周辺及び交差位置で接続してもよい。この場合、例えば、個々の紐掛要素は、それぞれ交差位置を含む部分を横断して重なり合い、交差位置を越えて先に伸びる。各紐掛要素は、この場合、その全長に沿って平らに接続されるか、または、少なくとも2つの別々の接続領域を有する。
この場合には、装置が非常に融通の利くものとなりうる。例えば、縦方向の紐掛と横方向の紐掛との間で、異なる紐掛要素、あるいはパラメータ、条件が適用される場合には、例えば、それぞれの紐掛要素に正確に対応しうるシーリング要素を用いることで、それぞれの紐掛要素を接続することができる。
本願発明によれば、更に、機械的溶着によって紐掛要素の結合が行えるように、シーリング要素が構成されている。例えば熱可塑性物質製の紐掛要素の場合には、例えば摩擦溶着あるいは振動溶着といった機械的溶着によって、接着剤や止め金具等で追加的に補助することなく、非常にしっかりと結合させることができる。機械的溶着は、相対的に複雑な熱溶着より迅速に行うことができる。必要なエネルギーは狙いを定めて供給することができ、適切な場合には、周囲の領域への熱負荷を非常に限定することができる。すなわち、比較的小さい構造物によって、正確な溶着のために、正確に調整された十分な量のエネルギーを、非常に短時間のうちに供給することができる。
接触面15のかど領域には、交差する紐掛バンドが交差領域における溶着位置に位置するときに、2本の紐掛バンドのうち、重なりの下方に位置するバンドが接触する接触部15cがさらに備えられている。2本の紐掛バンドの交差領域において、接触部15cは、接触部15a,15bの一方あるいは両方からわずかに下方にオフセットされるか、あるいは2つの接触部15a,15bのうち一方の接触部と共に、接触面15の他の部分に対して下方にオフセットされていてもよい。

Claims (11)
- 包装物上で交差配置された少なくとも2つの紐掛要素によって包装物に紐掛するための装置であって、
包装物を紐掛位置まで搬送する搬送手段と、
包装物の周囲に前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素を配置するための少なくとも2つのガイドチャンネルを備え、該少なくとも2つのガイドチャンネルは、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素のための交差領域を規定し、
前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素のために、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素を挿入すること及び締め付けることの少なくとも一方を行ない、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素の重なり部分を接続するための結合装置を有し、
前記結合装置が、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素の前記交差位置及び該交差位置の近傍の少なくとも一方において、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素を接続するために、接続手段として、1つのシーリングスタンプと、該シーリングスタンプに対応するヘッド部分とを有し、それらの間で前記少なくとも2つの紐掛け要素がプレスにより接続される、包装物紐掛装置。 - 前記接続手段が、前記交差位置の周囲の領域内で前記紐掛要素に接続されるようになっており、その領域は交差位置の中心周りに半径によって規定され、半径は50mmよりも小である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記接続手段が、2つの前記紐掛要素を互いに前記交差位置で接続するようにされている、請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 前記接続手段が、少なくとも1つの前記紐掛要素を前記交差位置の近傍及び前記交差位置の少なくとも一方で接続するようにされている、請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 前記接続手段が、少なくとも1つの前記紐掛要素を前記交差位置の近傍及び前記交差位置で結合するようにされており、且つ2つの紐掛要素を互いに前記交差位置で接続するようにされている、請求項1又は2記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素を接続するために、シーリングスタンプを備えるシール要素が設けられている、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記接続手段が、前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素の接続を1回の操作で行なうようにされている、請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シール要素が、機械的溶着によって前記少なくとも2つの紐掛要素を接続するようにされている、請求項6項に記載の装置。
- 前記シール要素が超音波により溶着されるようにされている請求項6項に記載の装置。
- 前記シーリングスタンプ及び/又はヘッド部が溶着プロフィールを有する、請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シール要素が、前記紐掛要素の接続及び/又は2つの前記紐掛要素の互いの一つのシーリングスタンプの使用を許容するようにされている、請求項6項に記載の装置。
