Description
前記インクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープは、基材層と、該基材層上に粘着層とを有し、該粘着層は、
(1)(a)スチレンおよび2−メチルスチレンのいずれか一方のビニル芳香族化合物単位と、(b)エチレン・ブチレン、エチレン・プロピレン、エチレン・ブチレンにエポキシ基を導入したもの、エチレン・プロピレンにエポキシ基を導入したものおよびエチレン・ブチレンにオキセタニル基を導入したもののいずれかによってなるオレフィン系炭化水素単位と、からなる(A)−(B)−(A)型ブロック共重合体:70〜100質量%、
((A)は(a)を単位とする重合体ブロック、(B)は(b)を単位とする重合体ブロック、とする)
(2)ポリオレフィン:0〜30質量%、からなり、
前記(1)(A)−(B)−(A)ブロック共重合体中の(a)ビニル芳香族化合物単位の含有率が10〜30質量%であって、前記シールテープはパラフィンおよびテルペン系樹脂のいずれも含有しないことを特徴とする。
前記(b)オレフィン系炭化水素単位を単位とする重合体ブロック(B)のTgが0℃以下であることを特徴とする。
以下に本発明における実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1に、本発明のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープを適用したインクジェット記録ヘッドの一例を示す。このインクジェット記録ヘッドは、インクタンク一体型であり、インクタンク内にインクが充填されている。更に吐出口表面には吐出口保護用のシールテープH1401が、少なくとも吐出口を覆って貼り付けられている。すなわち、図1は、シールテープH1401によって吐出口が封止された物流過程における形態としてのインクジェット記録ヘッドを示している。ただし、本発明はインクタンク別体型のインクジェット記録ヘッドにも適用することもできる。
本発明に係るインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープは、基材層と、該基材層上に前記チップ表面と接合する粘着層とを有する。該粘着層は、(1)(A)−(B)−(A)型ブロック共重合体と(2)ポリオレフィンからなる。
(1)(A)−(B)−(A)型ブロック共重合体は、(a)ビニル芳香族化合物単位と、(b)オレフィン系炭化水素単位と、からなる。(A)は(a)ビニル芳香族化合物単位を単位とする重合体ブロックであり、(B)は(b)オレフィン系炭化水素単位を単位とする重合体ブロックである。
本発明に係る粘着層は、さらに(2)ポリオレフィンを含有することで、より強固に結晶構造を維持することができ、粘着層の劣化の抑制が可能となる。また、(2)ポリオレフィンを粘着層中に含有することで、シールテープの基材層の基材樹脂としてポリオレフィンを使用した場合に、基材層との密着性を向上させることができる。
本発明におけるインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープは、粘着層と基材層の2層共押出し成型によって製造することができる。
○:シールテープの剥がれ、インク漏れが生じていない。
△:シールテープの剥がれは無いが、一部浮きがありインクが滲んでいる。
×:シールテープが剥がれている。
○:チップ表面へのダメージが無い。
×:吐出口を形成する樹脂層にクラックなどの破損がある。
○:インクへの溶出成分が確認できない。
×:インクへの溶出成分が存在する。
○:チップ表面に残存した付着物などが確認できない。
×:チップ表面に付着物などの残存物が存在する。

Claims (7)
- インクを吐出する吐出口が形成されたチップが設置されたインクジェット記録ヘッドの該チップ表面に、剥離可能に接合されるインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープにおいて、
前記インクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープは、基材層と、該基材層上に粘着層とを有し、該粘着層は、
(1)(a)スチレンおよび2−メチルスチレンのいずれか一方のビニル芳香族化合物単位と、(b)エチレン・ブチレン、エチレン・プロピレン、エチレン・ブチレンにエポキシ基を導入したもの、エチレン・プロピレンにエポキシ基を導入したものおよびエチレン・ブチレンにオキセタニル基を導入したもののいずれかによってなるオレフィン系炭化水素単位と、からなる(A)−(B)−(A)型ブロック共重合体:70〜100質量%、
((A)は(a)を単位とする重合体ブロック、(B)は(b)を単位とする重合体ブロック、とする)
(2)ポリオレフィン:0〜30質量%、からなり、
前記(1)(A)−(B)−(A)ブロック共重合体中の(a)ビニル芳香族化合物単位の含有率が10〜30質量%であって、前記シールテープはパラフィンおよびテルペン系樹脂のいずれも含有しないことを特徴とするインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。 - 前記(2)ポリオレフィンが、ポリエチレン又はポリプロピレンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。
- 前記(a)ビニル芳香族化合物単位を単位とする重合体ブロック(A)のTgが70℃以上であり、かつ
前記(b)オレフィン系炭化水素単位を単位とする重合体ブロック(B)のTgが0℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。 - 前記基材層の基材樹脂としてポリオレフィンを用い、前記粘着層と前記基材層の2層共押出し成型によって製造することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。
- 前記粘着層と基材層の2層共押出し成型時に、前記(1)(A)−(B)−(A)型ブロック共重合体が動的架橋されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。
- 前記基材層の基材樹脂が、ポリエチレン又はポリプロピレンであることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープ。
- 前記チップ表面に請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド用シールテープが剥離可能に接合されていることを特徴とするインクジェット記録ヘッド。
