式中:K=サンプル42の複合体の誘電率;Ks=血清成分の誘電率;Kc=赤血球の誘電率;H=ヘマトクリット;およびS=細片22の構造に関連したいわゆる「形状因子」で、実証的には、だいたい1.8である。全血液の誘電率は、直接そのヘマトクリットに比例項する。細片22のキャパシタンス40が、含量の誘電率に直接比例するから、細片キャパシタンス40の定量を行うことにより、サンプルのヘマトクリットの独立的知見が、提供されることを方程式(2)が示唆している。

Claims (6)
- 血液、血液画分または対照中のグルコース濃度を定量する方法であって、前記血液、血液画分または対照が赤血球または赤血球画分を含み、当該赤血球または赤血球画分がグルコース濃度の定量に影響を及ぼし、
前記方法は、血液、血液画分または対照に対して第1の測定を行うことを包含し、
前記第1の測定は、グルコースの濃度および赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度の双方とともに変化し;
前記第1の測定が、つぎの一般式
を有する時間変化関数i1(t)の測定を含み、
前記血液、血液画分または対照に対して第2の測定を行い、
前記第2の測定は、赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度の指示を展開するために、赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度とともに変化し;および
血液、血液画分または対照中のグルコース濃度を与えるために、前記第1の測定により指示されたグルコースの濃度から、赤血球または赤血球画分の指示された存在および濃度を表示する量を除去する
ことを含み、
前記第1の測定および第2の測定が一対の電極を備えた単一の細片上で行なわれる、ヘマトクリット値を算出しないことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の測定を実行する前に、血液、血液画分または対照を試薬と接触させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第2の測定が、ヘマトクリットのグルコースに無感応性の測定である請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の測定は、グルコース濃度のヘマトクリットに感応性の測定である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 血液、血液画分または対照のグルコースの濃度を定量する装置であって、前記血液、血液画分または対照は、グルコース濃度の定量に影響を及ぼす赤血球または赤血球画分を含み、
前記装置は、血液、血液画分または対照に対して第1の測定を行うためのデバイスを含み、
この第1の測定は、グルコース濃度および赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度の双方とともに変化し;
前記第1の測定が、つぎの一般式
を有する時間変化関数i1(t)の測定を含み、
前記デバイスが第2の測定をさらに行い、
前記第2の測定は、赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度の指示を展開するために、赤血球または赤血球画分の少なくとも1つの存在および濃度とともにのみ変化し;
前記デバイスが、前記第1の測定により指示されたグルコース濃度から、指示された赤血球または赤血球画分の存在あるいは濃度を表示する量を除去し、前記第1の測定および第2の測定が一対の電極を備えた単一の細片上で行なわれる、ヘマトクリット値を算出しないことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記第1の測定を実行する前に、血液、血液画分または対照を試薬と接触させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載の装置。
