Description
バッグは、空洞が真空に引かれた際大気圧によって複合材料を保持し得るような可撓性及び厚さを有する。工具装置は、また、空洞の真空排気を行ない得るように、バッグに少なくとも一つの真空排気ポートを有する。バッグは、その周縁部のうち一つ又は二つの真空排気ポートのある部分以外のバッグの部分に沿ってシールされている。
フレーム組立体は、次に、ガス抜き及び固化のために複合材料を収容し真空排気された空洞に必要な圧力を与えるべく、加圧される。
これは、バッグの内部に位置するチューブ35の部分が、その後の処理の間にバッグを破ったりすることがないようにするためである。
フレーム81’は、閉込めバッグ95によって形成された空洞を真空チューブ87に接続する通路89’を有する。

Claims (7)
- 複合材料用のガス抜き及び固化のための工具装置であって、
a) 前記複合材料の周縁部を取り囲む大きさのフレームと、
b) 前記複合材料の上面及び下面と接触する大きさの一対のプランジャと、
c) 前記フレームに取付けられた閉込めシートであって、前記フレームと協働して前記プランジャ及び前記複合材料を収容する空洞を形成する閉込めシートと、
d) 該空洞を真空排気すべく該空洞に連通されている少なくとも一つの真空排気ポートと、を有し、
前記閉込めシートに加えられる大気圧及び前記プランジャの塊(mass)が前記真空排気の間前記複合材料を保持するように構成され、
前記フレーム、前記プランジャ、前記閉込めシート及び前記真空排気ポートのそれぞれは、格子間ガス含量が少ない材料でできていることを特徴とする工具装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つの真空排気ポートが前記空洞と連通されるように前記フレームに形成された通路に接続されたチューブ手段である請求項1に記載の工具装置。
- 少なくとも一つのスペーサを前記フレームと対応する閉込めシートとの間に更に有しており、該スペーサ、前記フレーム及び前記閉込めシートが前記空洞を形成するように構成されている請求項1に記載の工具装置。
- 前記材料は、金属である請求項1に記載の工具装置。
- 前記金属は、チタン合金である請求項4に記載の工具装置。
- 前記閉込めシートは、複合材料が固化するときに、この複合材料への圧縮荷重を維持するようにプランジャに対してばね荷重を加えている請求項3に記載の工具装置。
- 前記スペーサは、前記閉込めシートの前記ばね荷重を生じさせる請求項6に記載の工具装置。
