Claims (13)
- カラーディスプレイ上に画像を表示する方法であって、前記方法が、
表示されるべき画像データを受け取るステップ、
前記画像データから第1の色集合を有する第1のサブ画像と第2の色集合を有する第2のサブ画像とを形成するステップであって、前記第1の色集合及び前記第2の色集合は互いに素の集合であり、前記第1の色集合及び前記第2の色集合は、前記第1の色集合の少なくとも第1の色と前記第2の色集合の少なくとも第2の色とによって形成されるメタマーを有するようなステップ、及び
前記第1のサブ画像及び前記第2のサブ画像を用いてカラーディスプレイ上に前記画像を表示するステップ、
を有する方法。 - 前記第1の色集合及び前記第2の色集合はそれぞれ色の組み合わせを有し、前記組み合わせが前記メタマーを形成し、前記メタマーによって提供される色感覚は、略白色として知覚される、請求項1による方法。
- 前記第1のサブ画像及び前記第2のサブ画像は、或る時間期間の間、同時に表示される、請求項1又は2による方法。
- 前記第1の色集合と前記第2の色集合との両方に含まれる任意の色に関連するデータを平均し、前記平均されたデータが前記第1のサブ画像及び前記第2のサブ画像の前記任意の色のデータとして用いられる、請求項3による方法。
- 前記第1のサブ画像及び前記第2のサブ画像は、或る時間期間の間、時間的に連続して表示される、請求項1又は2による方法。
- 前記或る時間期間は、単一フレームとして知覚されるように十分短い、請求項3又は4による方法。
- 前記或る時間期間は、20m秒に等しい又はそれよりも短い、請求項5による方法。
- 前記或る時間期間は、10m秒に等しい又はそれよりも短い、請求項5による方法。
- 前記第1の色集合は、赤、緑、及び青を有する、請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の色集合は、青及び黄を有する、請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至10のうちのいずれか1項による方法を実行するディスプレイコントローラ。
- 請求項11によるディスプレイコントローラを有するディスプレイ。
- 前記ディスプレイが、液晶(LCD)ディスプレイ、オーバーラップしない電子ビームを伴なうブラウン管(CRT)ディスプレイ、フラットインテリジェント管(FIT)ディスプレイ、プラズマディスプレイパネル(PDP)、ポリ発光ダイオード(PolyLED)ディスプレイ、有機発光ダイオード(OLED)ディスプレイ、又は電界放出ディスプレイ(FED)である、請求項12によるディスプレイ。
