Description
硫酸法により得られた比表面積260m2/gの含水酸化チタンスラリーを酸化チタンとして150g/リットルに調整し、400g/リットルの苛性ソーダを用いてpHを9に調整した。2時間撹拌後、200g/リットルの塩酸によりpHを6に調整してろ過洗浄を行った。洗浄を行った含水酸化チタンをリパルプし酸化チタンとして100g/リットルに調整後、そのスラリーにFe2O3として100g/リットルの塩化第二鉄溶液を用いTiに対するFeの割合が170原子%になるように添加した後、200g/リットルの苛性ソーダ溶液を滴下して、該スラリーのpHを7に調整して含水酸化チタンと水酸化鉄の混合スラリーを調製した。

発明の効果
Claims (10)
- Fe2TiO4を主成分とする複合酸化物からなり、Tiに対するFe(II)とFe(III)の総量が150〜300原子%で、Fe(II)とFe(III)の総量に対するFe(II)の量の比が0.50以上であり、フーバー式マラー法による塗膜のL値が9.0以下であることを特徴とする低磁化量黒色顔料粉末であって、磁化量が0.1〜20.0Am 2 /kgであることを特徴とする前記低磁化量黒色顔料粉末。
- 上記の粉末にケイ素、アルミニウム、チタニウム、ジルコニウム及び錫からなる群より選ばれるいずれか一種以上の含水又は無水の無機酸化物を被覆したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末。
- 上記の粉末にシリコンオイル及び/又はカップリング剤で疎水化処理が行われていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末。
- 請求項1に記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末の製造方法であって、含水又は無水の酸化チタンに、Tiに対するFe(II)とFe(III)の総量が150〜300原子%となる水酸化鉄、酸化鉄または含水酸化鉄のいずれか一種以上を混合し、700〜1100℃の酸化性雰囲気中で焼成してFe2TiO5相を形成した後、更に、Fe(II)とFe(III)の総量に対するFe(II)の量の比が0.50以上となるように還元してFe2TiO4相を形成することを特徴とする低磁化量黒色顔料粉末の製造方法。
- 基体に200m2/g以上の比表面積を有する含水の酸化チタンを用いたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末の製造方法。
- 還元剤として水素と二酸化炭素の混合ガスを用い、400〜550℃の温度で還元することを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末を使用したことを特徴とするトナー組成物。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末を使用したことを特徴とする塗料。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末を使用したことを特徴とする樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の低磁化量黒色顔料粉末を使用したことを特徴とする化粧料。
