Description
本発明で用いられるハロゲン含有芳香族ジオールのエーテル誘導体の分子量1,500以下の成分量を60重量%以上にする必要がある。60重量%未満だと得られた難燃性スチレン樹脂組成物の流動性及び成形加工性が著しく悪化するため、成分量を60重量%以上、好ましくは65重量%以上にする必要がある。ここで述べる分子量とは、標準ポリスチレン換算によるゲルパーミネーション測定での分子量を示す。
スチレン系樹脂100重量部に対するハロゲン含有芳香族ジオールのエーテル誘導体の配合比率は、10〜50重量部と広範囲に変化させることができるが、より好ましい配合比率は、15〜30重量部である。

(2)易混錬指数:スチレン樹脂100部に対し、難燃剤を21.5部、三酸化アンチモンを5部配合し、ミキサーとして、HAAKE BUCHLERInstruments Inc.,製レオコードシステム90、レオミックス600型ミキサーを使用して、220℃の温度にて5分間混練りし、混練1分以内の最低トルク値を混練5分後のトルク値で割った値。
(3)軟化点 :JIS K−7234、環球法。
(4)混錬性 :コンパウンド作成時、スチレン樹脂と難燃剤の分離が起きた場合は×で、問題なかった場合は○とした。
(5)難燃性 :米国UL規格のUL94に規定されている垂直燃焼性試験に準拠し、厚み1.6mmの試験片を評価した。
(6)耐衝撃性 :JIS K−7211。
(7)流動性 :スパイラルフローを用いて200℃にて測定した。
テトラブロモビスフェノールA(以下,TBAと略す)型エポキシ樹脂YDB−400(東都化成社製、エポキシ当量400g/eq、臭素含有量49%)125gとTBA(デットシーブルミン社製、水酸基当量272g/eq、臭素含有量58.5%)75gを温度計、攪拌機、コンデンサーの付いた1リットルセパラブルフラスコに入れ、内部を窒素ガス置換してから、120℃に加熱溶融し、触媒としてトリフェニルホスフィン(以下、TPPと略す)0.08gを加え、180℃で4時間反応させた後、YDB−400(前述)を200g添加し1時間攪拌後、さらにYDB−400を250g、トリブロムフェノール(ブロモケム社製、水酸基当量331g/eq、臭素含有量72.5%)を350g、TPP(前述)を0.3g添加し、さらに3時間攪拌を行い、難燃剤aを得た。得られた難燃剤aの性状を表1に示す。
TBA型フェノキシ樹脂YPB−43C(東都化成社製、臭素含有量53%)300gとTBA(前述)523gとアルキルグリシジルエーテル、エピオールM(日本油脂社製、エポキシ当量92g/eq)177g、触媒としてTPP(前述)0.3gを合成例1と同様のフラスコに仕込み、160℃で5時間反応させて難燃剤bを得た。得られた難燃剤bの性状を表1に示す。
YPB−43C(前述)100gとTB−60(東都化成社製、臭素含有量59%)900gを合成例1と同様のフラスコに仕込み、180℃で3時間攪拌混合して難燃剤cを得た。得られた難燃剤cの性状を表1に示す。
YPB−43C(前述)300gとTB−60(東都化成社製、臭素含有量59%)700gを合成例1と同様のフラスコに仕込み、180℃で3時間攪拌混合して難燃剤dを得た。得られた難燃剤dの性状を表1に示す。
