Claims (6)
- a)既知の幅および厚さを有するダイからフィラメントのストリームを押出すことと、b)押出されたフィラメントを予備的に細化する処理チャンバであって、かつ、互いに平行であり、ダイの前記幅に平行であり、および押出されたフィラメントのストリームの長手方向軸に平行である2つのわずかに隔てられた壁によって画定され、該並行壁の一方または双方が、他方の壁に対して互いに接近あるいは遠離するように移動可能で、該並行壁の間の距離が調整可能である処理チャンバを介して、押出されたフィラメントのストリームを方向付けることと、c)前記処理チャンバを通過したフィラメントのストリームをコレクタ上で遮断し、前記フィラメントがそこで不織繊維ウエブとして捕集されることと、d)前記処理チャンバの壁の間隔を選択して、押出されたフィラメントの前記ストリームが広がって、前記ダイの前記幅よりも少なくとも50ミリメートル幅広の機能性ウエブとして捕集されるようにすることとを含む不織繊維ウエブの調製方法。
- 前記平行な壁が、前記フィラメントの移動方向に互いに近接する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記捕集された機能性ウェブが、前記ダイの前記幅よりも少なくとも200ミリメートル幅広である請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記フィラメントが、前記コレクタに到達する前にダイの前記幅の少なくとも2倍の幅に広がる請求項1または2に記載の方法。

- 押出されたフィラメントが、少なくとも8000m/分の速度で処理チャンバを通過する請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
