Description
既存のアクリル系人造大理石は色々の色相の不透明または半透明チップの組み合わせよりなり、これは透明な石英またはシリカ部分を代替できるチップ素材がなくて天然石に比べて単調な感じを与え、特に不透明または透明のチップではその色相及び模様を表現するのに限界があった。
前記条件を満たす充填剤としては、二酸化チタン、硫酸バリウム、及び一般金属塩などが使用可能であり、金属粉末としては銅粉及び亜鉛粉末など通常の金属粉末を使用することができる。

Claims (15)
- 透明な内部層と、及び該内部層の外表面に形成され内部層より比重が大きい外部層を備えてなる透明チップを含んでなり、
前記透明チップの比重が、該チップが適用される人造大理石原料組成物の比重と等しいか、その比重差が±0.2g/cm 3 以下であり、
前記内部層及び外部層に使われるベース樹脂が、アクリル樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)からなる群から選ばれる1種以上である、人造大理石。 - 前記透明チップの全体比重が1.3乃至2.0g/cm3である、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記外部層の比重が1.5乃至10g/cm3である、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記内部層の光透過率が90乃至100%である、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記内部層がアクリル樹脂をベース樹脂にする透明アクリルチップである、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記外部層が二酸化チタン、硫酸バリウム、水酸化アルミニウム、炭酸カルシウム、シリカ、金属粉末、金属塩からなる群から選ばれる1種以上の充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記充填剤の比重が2.5乃至10g/cm3である、請求項6に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記内部層がパール顔料を含む、請求項1に記載の造大理石。
- 前記透明チップが円筒形または多面体である、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記外部層が内部層の外表面に全体または部分的に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記透明チップのサイズが3乃至20mmである、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 前記透明チップの投入量が人造大理石に対して1乃至50重量%である、請求項1に記載の人造大理石。
- 透明な内部層の外表面に内部層より比重が大きい外部層を形成させた後に、切断または粉砕して透明チップを製造し、及び、
透明チップを人造大理石原料組成物に添加することを含んでなり、
前記透明チップの比重が、該チップが適用される人造大理石原料組成物の比重と等しいか、その比重差が±0.2g/cm 3 以下であり、
前記内部層及び外部層に使われるベース樹脂が、アクリル樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)からなる群から選ばれる1種以上である、人造大理石の製造方法。 - 前記外部層に添加される充填剤の比重及び添加量を調節することにより、人造大理石原料組成物の比重と等しいか近似するように透明チップの比重を調節する、請求項13に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
- 前記内部層及び外部層用樹脂組成物を押出器に投入して内部層の外表面に外部層がコーティングされるように共押出する、請求項13に記載の人造大理石の製造方法。
