Claims (5)
- 吸気ポートの壁面近傍に介装した弁軸と、該弁軸に一端部を軸支される気流制御弁とを有するとともに、該気流制御弁が全開のときに、該気流制御弁の下流側端部の直上が吸気ポートの壁面となる内燃機関の吸気ポート構造であって、
前記気流制御弁の下流側端部の少なくとも一部分に切り欠き部を有し、
前記吸気ポートの壁面に、前記気流制御弁が全開のときに該気流制御弁を格納する凹み部分を有し、
前記気流制御弁が前記凹み部分に格納された状態で、前記気流制御弁の前記切り欠き部が配置される前記壁面の一部分は、前記凹み部分の底面から前記気流制御弁の閉弁方向に向かって立設する面部であって、前記凹み部分の底面と前記凹み部分の下流側の壁面とを連続的に接続し、
更に、前記気流制御弁の前記切り欠き部の両側部分が配置される前記壁面の他の部分は、前記凹み部分の底面から下流に向かって前記吸気ポートの内側に段を形成することなく傾斜する傾斜面であって、前記凹み部分の底面と前記凹み部分の下流側の壁面とを連続的に接続することを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気ポート構造。 - 前記傾斜面は、前記気流制御弁の弁軸の延伸方向において、前記吸気制御弁の側端部に対向する前記吸気ポートの壁面から所定の幅を有し、かつ、下流に向かって前記吸気ポートの内側に傾斜する面であって、前記凹み部分の少なくとも一部を含めて形成することで、前記段を形成しないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の吸気ポート構造。
- 前記傾斜面は、前記気流制御弁の弁軸の延伸方向において、前記吸気制御弁の側端部に対向する前記吸気ポートの壁面から所定の幅を有し、かつ、下流に向かって前記吸気ポートの内側に傾斜する面であって、前記凹み部分のうち前記面部から下流側の部分に形成することで、前記段を形成しないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の吸気ポート構造。
- 前記傾斜面は、前記気流制御弁の弁軸の延伸方向において、前記吸気制御弁の側端部に対向する前記吸気ポートの壁面から所定の幅を有し、かつ、下流に向かって前記吸気ポートの内側に傾斜する面であって、前記凹み部分の下流に形成することで、前記段を形成しないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の吸気ポート構造。
- 全開時の前記気流制御弁の下流側端部よりも下流側に、前記吸気ポートが形成する吸気通路を分割する仕切板が配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項記載の内燃機関の吸気ポート構造。
