Description
前記ハブに嵌着される円筒状の嵌合部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面に対向する鍔部とが連続して設けられた不錆性材料からなる金環と、
前記金環の鍔部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面との隙間をシールする環状の弾性シール材と、
を備え、前記ハブに前記金環の嵌合部が嵌着され、前記金環の鍔部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面との隙間が前記弾性シール材でシールされ、前記シール部材のシールリップが前記金環に摺接して前記外輪部材と前記金環との間が前記シール部材でシールされること。
(2) 上記(1)の車両用軸受装置において、
前記金環の鍔部の周縁部を前記ハブのフランジ部から離間する方向に断面略クランク状に成形して前記弾性シール材を装着するためのシール装着空間を設け、該シール装着空間に前記弾性シール材を固着したこと。
(3) 上記(1)の車両用軸受装置において、
前記ハブのフランジ部のフランジ面に前記弾性シール材を装着するための円環溝を設けたこと。

図1及び図2に示されるように、本発明に係る第1実施形態である車輪用軸受装置1は、外輪部材2と、内輪部材であるハブ3と、外輪部材2とハブ3との間で周方向に転動自在に配設された複数の転動体である玉5と、外輪部材2に固定されて外輪部材2とハブ3との間を密封する環状のシール部材10と、を備えている。
次に、本発明に係る第2実施形態である車輪用軸受装置を、図3を参照して説明する。尚、第1実施形態の車輪用軸受装置1と共通する部分については同一符号を付して明確化を図り説明を簡略化又は省略する。

Claims (3)
- 車体に固定された外輪部材と、内輪部材であるハブと、前記外輪部材と前記ハブとの間で周方向に転動自在に配設された複数の転動体と、前記外輪部材の軸方向端部に固定されて前記外輪部材と前記ハブとの間を密封するシール部材とを備え、前記ハブが、前記外輪部材の前記軸方向端部より突出した位置で半径方向外方に延出した円盤状のフランジ部を有し、前記シール部材が、前記ハブに近接して配置されたシールリップを有する車両用軸受装置であって、
前記ハブに嵌着される円筒状の嵌合部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面に対向する鍔部とが連続して設けられた不錆性材料からなる金環と、
前記金環の鍔部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面との隙間をシールする環状の弾性シール材と、
を備え、前記ハブに前記金環の嵌合部が嵌着され、前記金環の鍔部と前記フランジ部のフランジ面との隙間が前記弾性シール材でシールされ、前記シール部材のシールリップが前記金環に摺接して前記外輪部材と前記金環との間が前記シール部材でシールされることを特徴とする車両用軸受装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用軸受装置であって、前記金環の鍔部の周縁部を前記ハブのフランジ部から離間する方向に断面略クランク状に成形して前記弾性シール材を装着するためのシール装着空間を設け、該シール装着空間に前記弾性シール材を固着したことを特徴とする車両用軸受装置。
- 請求項1に記載の車両用軸受装置であって、前記ハブのフランジ部のフランジ面に前記弾性シール材を装着するための円環溝を設けたことを特徴とする車両用軸受装置。
