Claims (5)
- 燃料噴射手段と、前記燃料噴射手段により噴射された燃料を改質する燃料改質触媒と、前記燃料改質触媒により改質された燃料が導入される排気浄化手段とを排気通路内に備えた内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
前記燃料改質触媒の温度及び空燃比に基づいて前記燃料改質触媒の燃料改質率を推定する改質率推定手段と、前記改質率推定手段の推定結果に応じて前記燃料噴射手段による燃料の噴射状態を変化させる燃料噴射制御手段と、
を具備することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記改質率推定手段の推定結果に応じて前記燃料の噴射及びその停止の実行時間及び実行間隔のうち少なくともいずれか一方を決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 燃料噴射手段と、前記燃料噴射手段により噴射された燃料を改質する燃料改質触媒と、前記燃料改質触媒により改質された燃料が導入される排気浄化手段とを排気通路内に備え、前記燃料改質触媒の温度を考慮して燃料の噴射及びその停止を前記燃料噴射手段に実行させる燃料噴射制御手段を具備する内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
前記燃料改質触媒の温度が所定値よりも低い場合には、前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記燃料の噴射及びその停止の実行に先立って、前記燃料改質触媒の温度を上昇させるべく前記燃料噴射手段に燃料の噴射を実行させ、
前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記燃料改質触媒の温度上昇に要する燃料量が該温度上昇により見込まれる燃料消費量の減少分よりも小さくなる関係を満足する範囲内で、前記燃料噴射手段に燃料の噴射を実行させることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 燃料噴射手段と、前記燃料噴射手段により噴射された燃料を改質する燃料改質触媒と、前記燃料改質触媒により改質された燃料が導入される排気浄化手段とを排気通路内に備えた内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、前記燃料改質触媒における空燃比を制御する改質用空燃比制御手段と、前記燃料改質触媒の温度及び空燃比に基づいて前記改質触媒の燃料改質率を推定する改質率推定手段と、前記改質率推定手段の推定結果及び前記排気浄化手段の温度に基づいて該排気浄化手段の浄化率を推定する浄化率推定手段と、を具備し、
前記改質用空燃比制御手段は、前記浄化率推定手段により推定される浄化率が増加する方向に前記空燃比を制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記空燃比制御手段は、前記燃料改質触媒の温度が高いほど前記改質触媒の空燃比をリッチ側とすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
