Claims (5)
- 被塗物を一定の搬送方向に移動させる搬送手段と、
該搬送手段の搬送方向に間隔をもって配置された複数の噴霧機とを備え、
被塗物の塗装面を複数の塗装領域に区分けし、
前記複数の塗装領域のうち互いに隣合う塗装領域をそれぞれ異なる噴霧機を用いて塗装を行う塗装方法において、
前記各噴霧機は、前記各塗装領域間で前記被塗物の搬送方向とほぼ平行な方向に往復動しつつ塗装を行い、
前記各噴霧機が前記被塗物の搬送方向とほぼ平行な方向に往復動する間に、隣合う塗装領域の境界側に位置する当該往復動の折返し部を前記被塗物の搬送方向の前側から後側に向けて順次位置をずらし、当該折返し部の塗装軌跡を階段状に形成しながら塗装を行うことを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 前記各噴霧機が往復動するときの平行移動部のうち、前記各塗装領域の塗装軌跡の開始位置となる最初の平行移動部では前記被塗物の搬送方向の前側から後側に向けて当該各噴霧機を移動させつつ塗装を行い、前記各塗装領域の塗装軌跡の終了位置となる最後の平行移動部でも前記被塗物の搬送方向の前側から後側に向けて当該各噴霧機を移動させつつ塗装を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塗装方法。
- 前記隣合う塗装領域では、前記複数の噴霧機のうち一の噴霧機が往復動するときの平行移動部と前記複数の噴霧機のうち他の噴霧機が往復動するときの平行移動部とがほぼ直線状に並ぶように塗装を行うことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の塗装方法。
- 前記各噴霧機が往復動するときの往路側の平行移動部の終端と復路側の平行移動部の始端とでは、前記被塗物の搬送方向の前側から後側に向けて位置をずらして塗装を行うことを特徴とする請求項1,2または3に記載の塗装方法。
- 前記各噴霧機が往復動するときの平行移動部では当該各噴霧機から塗料を噴霧し、前記往復動の折返し部では当該各噴霧機からの塗料の噴霧を停止しながら塗装を行うことを特徴とする請求項1,2,3または4に記載の塗装方法。
