Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の内部に潜熱型の蓄熱材が収容されているとともに、
過冷却状態にある蓄熱材の相変化を促すように稼動する発核装置が上記蓄熱材内に設けられており、
上記発核装置は、内燃機関の始動時にその始動時に発する上記内燃機関の振動により稼動し、蓄熱材を相変化させることによって放熱させるようにしたことを特徴とする内燃機関の暖機装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の内燃機関の暖機装置において、
発核装置は、
冷間時と温間時とで形状が異なる形状記憶合金と、
この形状記憶合金の温間時の形状を冷間時においても解放可能な状態で拘束しておくレリーズ機構と
を備え、
上記レリーズ機構は、内燃機関の始動時にその始動時に発する上記内燃機関の振動により形状記憶合金を温間時の形状から解放させることによって発核装置を稼動させるものであることを特徴する内燃機関の暖機装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の内燃機関の暖機装置において、
発核装置は、
軸線方向に進退移動可能なシャフトと、
このシャフトを冷間時と温間時とで進退方向に異なる位置に移動させるサーモワックスと、
このサーモワックスの温間時におけるシャフトの位置を冷間時においても解放可能な状態で拘束しておくレリーズ機構と
を備え、
上記レリーズ機構は、内燃機関の始動時にその始動時に発する上記内燃機関の振動によりサーモワックスの温間時におけるシャフト位置からシャフトを解放させることによって発核装置を稼動させるものであることを特徴する内燃機関の暖機装置。 - 上記請求項3に記載の内燃機関の暖機装置において、
レリーズ機構は、
サーモワックスの冷間時におけるシャフト位置側に向かってシャフトを付勢する第1の付勢手段と、
シャフト内に設けられ、そのシャフトの軸線と直行する方向に進退移動可能な封止部材と、
この封止部材をシャフト内から進出する方向へ付勢する第2の付勢手段と、
この第2の付勢手段により進出方向へ付勢された封止部材をサーモワックスの温間時におけるシャフト位置で係合してシャフトを係止する係止手段と
を備え、
上記係止手段は、内燃機関の始動時にその始動時に発する上記内燃機関の振動により封止手段との係合が解除されるようになっていることを特徴とする内燃機関の暖機装置。
