Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態1にかかる光学ヘッド、ディスク記録再生装置及び対物レンズの駆動方法について図1〜図6を参照しながら説明する。
このように、本実施の形態1にかかる光学ヘッドにおいては、フォーカス誤差信号にオフセット信号を印加して、フォーカスポイントを変化させ、光磁気記録媒体13の記録面における光スポット32の形状及び収差を光学的に補正している。よって、本実施の形態1にかかる光学ヘッドを用いることにより、光磁気記録媒体13の記録面における軸外収差の発生を抑制できる。また、軸外収差の影響を少なくすることが可能となるため、対物レンズ11の小型化及び薄型化を図ることができ、光学ヘッド及びディスク記録再生装置の小型化及び薄型化に貢献することもできる。
また、本実施の形態1においては、オフセット信号の生成は、対物レンズ11の移動量に応じたデフォーカス量に基づいて行なわれているが、例えば、図6に示すように、フォーカス誤差信号に印加されるオフセット信号の電圧波形を任意に補正して階段状の波形とすることもできる。また、同様に、オフセット信号の電圧波形を非線形または不感帯を設けた波形とすることもできる。
次に本発明の実施の形態2にかかる光学ヘッド、ディスク記録再生装置及び対物レンズの駆動方法について、図7及び図8を参照しながら説明する。図7は、本実施の形態2にかかる光学ヘッドにおけるトラッキング誤差信号受光部を拡大して示す図である。図8は、本発明の本実施の形態2にかかる光学ヘッドの動作と本発明の実施の形態2にかかる対物レンズの駆動方法とを示すフローチャートである。

次に、本発明の実施の形態3にかかる光学ヘッド、ディスク記録再生装置及び対物レンズの駆動方法について図9及び図10を参照しながら説明する。
Claims (7)
- 光学ヘッドと、前記光学ヘッドを円盤状の記録媒体のラジアル方向に送る送り手段とを少なくとも有するディスク記録再生装置であって、
前記光学ヘッドは、光源と、前記光源からの光束を円盤状の記録媒体の記録面に集光する対物レンズと、前記対物レンズを前記円盤状の記録媒体のラジアル方向及びフォーカス方向に駆動する対物レンズ駆動部と、前記円盤状の記録媒体の記録面で反射された反射光を受光して電気信号に変換する第1及び第2の受光部と、前記第1の受光部で変換された電気信号からフォーカス誤差信号を生成し、前記第2の受光部で変換された電気信号からトラッキング誤差信号を生成する信号生成部と、前記フォーカス誤差信号及び前記トラッキング誤差信号に基づいて前記対物レンズ駆動部に電流を印加することにより、前記対物レンズ駆動部を制御する制御部とを有し、
前記制御部は、前記円盤状の情報記録媒体の記録面で反射された反射光のうち前記記録面における情報トラックの干渉領域外で反射された光束から得られる電気信号に基づいて、前記対物レンズ駆動部による前記対物レンズのラジアル方向の移動量を算出し、算出した前記ラジアル方向の移動量に応じたデフォーカス量を算出し、算出したデフォーカス量に基づいてオフセット信号を生成し、前記生成したオフセット信号を前記フォーカス誤差信号に印加して、前記対物レンズ駆動部を制御し、
前記送り手段は、前記光学ヘッドと勘合して前記光学ヘッドの前記ラジアル方向への移動を行なう送りネジと、前記対物レンズ駆動部に印加された電流量に対応した駆動電圧量を印加されることにより、前記送りネジを回転させる駆動モータとを少なくとも有し、前記駆動電圧量が規定の値を超えた時に、前記駆動モータが回転して前記光学ヘッドを送るように構成されており、
前記対物レンズ駆動部に印加された電流量に対する前記駆動モータへの印加電圧量を、再生時より記録時で小さくすることにより、前記駆動電圧量が前記規定の値に到達するまでの時間を長く設定したことを特徴とするディスク記録再生装置。 - 前記駆動電圧量が前記規定の値に到達するまでの間に移動する、前記対物レンズのラジアル方向の移動量が、再生時より記録時で大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。
- 前記第2の受光部が複数の受光素子で形成されており、前記制御部は、前記複数の受光素子の一部が前記情報トラックの干渉領域外で反射された光束を変換して得られる電気信号に基づいて、前記対物レンズ駆動部による前記対物レンズのラジアル方向の移動量を算出する請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。
- 前記制御部が、前記円盤状の記録媒体における回転中心に対する偏芯量を算出し、算出した偏芯量と前記算出したデフォーカス量に基づいてオフセット信号を生成する請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。
- 周囲の温度を検出するための温度検出部を有し、
前記制御部が、検出された周囲の温度と前記算出したデフォーカス量に基づいてオフセット信号を生成する請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。 - 前記制御部が、前記算出したデフォーカス量を変化させてオフセット信号を生成しており、前記算出したオフセット量を変化させる度合が記録時と再生時とで異なっている請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。
- 前記制御部が、前記算出したデフォーカス量を変化させてオフセット信号を生成しており、前記算出したオフセット量を変化させる度合が、反射率、トラック密度、ディスク厚、ディスク径、記録方式およびトラック溝形状のうち少なくとも一つによって特定される前記円盤状の記録媒体の種類によって異なっている請求項1に記載のディスク記録再生装置。
