Claims (11)
- ROM信号となる複数の位相ピットにより固定記録されているROM領域を有する基板と、
前記基板の前記ROM領域に対応する領域に成膜され、前記位相ピットにより固定記録されているROM領域上に重ねてRAM信号が記録され、前記ROM信号と前記RAM信号が同時に読み出される光磁気記録膜を具備し、
前記各位相ピットの深さの半分±20%の範囲内の位置における各位相ピットの端部の平均傾斜角度が10°〜40°であることを特徴とする光磁気記録媒体。 - 前記平均傾斜角度は15°〜30°である請求項1記載の光磁気記録媒体。
- 前記各位相ピットの幅が300nm〜500nmである請求項1記載の光磁気記録媒体。
- 前記各位相ピットの変調度が10%〜30%である請求項1記載の光磁気記録媒体。
- 光磁気記録媒体に記録された情報を少なくとも読み出し可能な光磁気記憶装置であって、
直線偏光を有するレーザビームを前記光磁気記録媒体に照射する光学ヘッドと、
前記光磁気記録媒体で反射された反射光から再生信号を生成する光検出器とを具備し、
前記光磁気記録媒体は、ROM信号となる複数の位相ピットが形成されたROM領域を有する基板と、
前記基板の前記ROM領域に対応する領域に成膜され、前記位相ピットにより固定記録されているROM領域上に重ねてRAM信号が記録され、前記ROM信号と前記RAM信号が同時に読み出される光磁気記録膜とを具備し、
前記各位相ピットの深さの半分±20%の範囲内の位置における各位相ピットの端部の平均傾斜角度が10°〜40°であることを特徴とする光磁気記憶装置。 - 前記光磁気記録媒体に入射するレーザビームの偏光面が前記各位相ピットの長さ方向に対して垂直方向±5°の範囲内に設定されている請求項5記載の光磁気記憶装置。
- ROM信号となる複数の位相ピットにより固定記録されているROM領域を有する基板と、
前記基板の前記ROM領域に対応する領域に成膜され、前記位相ピットにより固定記録されているROM領域上に重ねてRAM信号が記録され、前記ROM信号と前記RAM信号が同時に読み出される光磁気記録膜を具備する光磁気記録媒体用の基板を作成するためのスタンパであって、
前記各位相ピットの形状と相補的な形状を有する複数の凸部を具備し、
前記各凸部の高さの半分±20%の位置における各凸部の端部の平均傾斜角度が10°〜40°であることを特徴とするスタンパ。 - 前記平均傾斜角度が15°〜30°である請求項7記載のスタンパ。
- 光磁気記録媒体に記録された情報を少なくとも読み出し可能な光磁気記憶装置であって、
直線偏光を有するレーザビームを前記光磁気記録媒体に照射する光学ヘッドと、
前記光磁気記録媒体で反射された反射光から再生信号を生成する光検出器とを具備し、
前記光磁気記録媒体は、ROM信号となる複数の位相ピットが形成されたROM領域を有する基板を有しており、
前記光磁気記録媒体に入射するレーザビームの偏光面が前記各位相ピットの長さ方向に対して垂直方向±5°の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とする光磁気記憶装置。 - 前記光磁気記録媒体は、前記基板の前記ROM領域に対応する領域に成膜されたRAM信号が記録される光磁気記録膜を有しており、
前記各位相ピットの変調度が10%〜30%である請求項9記載の光磁気記憶装置。 - 前記光磁気記録媒体は、前記基板の前記ROM領域に対応する領域に成膜されたRAM信号が記録される光磁気記録膜を有しており、
前記各位相ピットの幅が前記レーザビームの直径の30%〜50%になるように、前記レーザビームの直径が設定されている請求項9記載の光磁気記憶装置。
