Claims (5)
- 映像を表示する液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルを照射する光源と、入力され前記液晶パネルに表示させる映像信号の特徴量に応じて前記光源の発光輝度を可変制御する輝度制御手段と備えた液晶表示装置において、
テレビジョン映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させるテレビジョン入力モードと、テレビジョン映像信号以外の所定の映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させる他信号入力モードとから、入力ソースの切り換えにより入力モードを選択する手段を有し、
前記輝度制御手段は、前記他信号入力モードが選択され前記所定の映像信号が前記液晶パネルに表示される場合、前記光源の発光輝度を入力された映像信号の特徴量に関わらず一定に保持することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 映像を表示する液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルを照射する光源と、入力され前記液晶パネルに表示させる映像信号の特徴量に応じて前記光源の発光輝度を可変制御する輝度制御手段と備えた液晶表示装置において、
テレビジョン映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させるテレビジョン入力モードと、テレビジョン映像信号以外の所定の映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させる他信号入力モードとから、入力ソースの切り換えにより入力モードを選択する手段を有し、
前記輝度制御手段は、前記他信号入力モードが選択され前記所定の映像信号が前記液晶パネルに表示される場合、入力された映像信号の特徴量に応じて前記光源の発光輝度を可変制御する処理を停止することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記他信号入力モードは、コンピュータ映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させる入力モードであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記他信号入力モードは、ゲーム映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させる入力モードであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記他信号入力モードは、電子書籍映像信号を入力ソースとして前記液晶パネルに表示させる入力モードであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
