Description
電荷結合素子および相補形MOS型画像センサなどのシングルチップ撮像デバイスは、小型の電源および比較的小さなエネルギーを用いて動作できる。このような撮像デバイスは、スタートラッキングアプリケーション(star tracking applications)および胃腸管内部の映像化等の様々な用途で実装されている。
本発明は画像収集プロセスを起動する方法に関し、画像収集プロセスに不可欠な構成要素の電源を外部磁石による抑止状態から解放するステップを含んでいる。このプロセスの起動にはプロセスに関係する構成要素を直接的に操作することを必要とせず、かつ遠隔制御を行うオペレータなどの第三者を必要としないために、この方法により画像収集プロセスの容易なかつ滅菌状態での起動が可能となる。
a)光の状態は、環境光、ならびにカプセルの電子部品(光源、センサ等)の違いが原因で異なるカプセル毎に変化する可能性がある。
b)カプセルとバランスカップとが必ずしも一直線上になっていないために、マークの画像が撮影毎に異なる回転角で現れることになる。
c)実画像からの距離が正確でなく、結果として画像の中の撮影対象の大きさが変わる。
d)マークの画像を基準画像と比較する必要があり、かつ類似性を確認しなければならない。
Claims (12)
- 胃腸管を撮像するシステムにおいて、
撮像デバイス備えた嚥下可能カプセルと、
保持カップとを備え、
前記カプセルが前記保持カップ内で起動され、前記保持カップ内で撮影された画像に基づいてシステムの動作確認を行うようになっていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記撮像デバイスがCCDを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記撮像デバイスがCMOSを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記嚥下可能カプセルが光源を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記嚥下可能カプセルが、前記撮像デバイスの出力を伝送するトランスミッタを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 伝送されたビデオ出力を受信する受信システムをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 嚥下可能カプセルの動作を調整する方法であって、
前記動作を調整するために画像を撮像するための撮像デバイスを有する嚥下可能カプセルを保持カップ内に配置し、
前記撮像デバイスを起動し、
前記保持カップ内で前記撮像デバイスにより撮像された最初の入力画像を記録し、
前記入力画像のパラメータを測定し、
前記パラメータに基づいて前記画像の輝度およびコントラストのうち少なくとも1つを変更するステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記カプセル内の照明源を起動するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記画像の輝度およびコントラストのうちの少なくとも1つを変更して統計的パラメータを基準値に合わせるステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記入力画像が白色であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 光補正を実行するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記入力画像の平均強度を決定するステップを備えていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
