Abstract
Description
本開示のコーティングの接着性を試験するために使用される方法は、一般に、ASTM D3359-09(2009、Version ε2)Test Method B(「Standard Test Methods for Measuring Adhesion by Tape test」)の手順に若干の変更を加えたものに従う。わずかに変更したASTM D3359-09の方法は、以下に詳述されており、本明細書では「接着試験」として示す。本明細書で使用される0~5のスケールの接着値試験結果の分類は、ASTM D3359-09 Test Method B、図1に詳細に記載されている。手順及び報告方法は、本明細書に記載される。
本明細書の開示におけるコーティングの溶解率を試験するために使用される方法は、以下に記載される手順に従う。コーティング組成物の配合が着色剤を含まない場合、当該コーティング組成物を、着色剤、例えばFD&C青色1号でドープし、次いで下記の溶解試験を開始しなければならない。手順及び報告方法は、本明細書に記載される。
以下の実施例1~73では、PVOH、PAA又はそれらの組合わせを含むコーティング組成物を調製した。表1の実施例1~73のそれぞれは、唯一の樹脂としてPVOH樹脂、唯一の樹脂としてPAA、又はPVOH及びPAAのブレンドを含んでいた。PVOHとPAAとの重量比を以下の表1に示す。表1は更に、PVOH樹脂の粘度及び加水分解度、並びにPAA樹脂の重量平均分子量を示す。実施例7、14、21、28、35、42、49、56、及び63のPVOHは、PVOH/無水マレイン酸コポリマーであった。他の全てのPVOH含有実施例のPVOHは、ホモポリマーであった。全てのPAA含有実施例のPAAはホモポリマーであった。
Claims (72)
- (a)PVOH及びPAAと、
(b)嫌悪剤と、
を含む水溶性樹脂混合物を含むコーティング組成物。 - (a)ポリビニルアルコール(PVOH)及びアクリル酸(PAA)と、
(b)着色剤と、
を含み、前記着色剤の濃度が前記着色剤の飽和点の±10%である、水溶性樹脂混合物を含むコーティング組成物。 - 前記PVOH及びPAAが、それぞれ90:10~10:90の範囲の重量比である、請求項1又は2に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記PAAがPAAホモポリマーである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記PVOHがPVOHホモポリマーである、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が嫌悪剤を更に含む、請求項2~6のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記嫌悪剤が、デナトニウム塩、スクロースオクタアセテート、キニーネ、フラボノイド、及びクアシノイドから選択される1つ又は複数の薬剤を含む、請求項7に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記嫌悪剤が、デナトニウムベンゾアート(DnBz)、デナトニウムサッカリド、及びデナトニウムクロリドから選択される1つ又は複数の塩を含む、請求項8に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記嫌悪剤がDnBzを含む、請求項9に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記DnBzの濃度が、コーティング組成物の総重量に基づいて、1,000~20,000ppmの範囲である、請求項10に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が溶媒を更に含む、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が着色剤を更に含む、請求項1又は3~12のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記着色剤が、トリフェニルメタン染料、アゾ染料、アントラキノン染料、ペリレン染料、インジゴイド染料、食品、医薬品及び化粧品(FD&C)着色剤、有機顔料、無機顔料、又はこれらの組合わせ含む、請求項2又は13に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記着色剤がFD&C着色剤を含む、請求項2又は13に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が水を含み、前記着色剤が水70部に対して、少なくとも着色剤15部の量で存在する、請求項13~15のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が、固形分の17重量%以上で存在する着色剤を含む、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物がイソプロパノールを更に含む、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記コーティング組成物が消泡剤を更に含む、請求項1~18のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記消泡剤が、前記ポリビニルアルコール100部当たり約0.1~約1部の範囲で存在する、請求項19に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記 消泡剤が、前記ポリビニルアルコール100部当たり約0.6~約0.8部の範囲で存在する、請求項20に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記水溶性樹脂混合物の前記PVOHが、約75%~約98%の範囲の加水分解度を有する、請求項1~21のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記PVOHが、4%溶液の粘度が20℃で約25cP以下である、請求項22に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 請求項1~23のいずれか一項に記載の乾燥した第1のコーティング組成物を含む第1の水溶性層を含む コーティング。
- 乾燥した第2のコーティング組成物を含む第2の水溶性層を更に含む、請求項24に記載のコーティング。
- 前記乾燥した第2のコーティング組成物が着色剤を含まない、請求項25に記載のコーティング。
