Abstract
Description
図1は、プラグ105を上側及びレセプタクル150を下側に配置したコネクタ組立体の斜視図を示す。コネクタ組立体100は、プラグ105及びレセプタクル150を含む。プラグ105は、ハウジング110及び端子115を含む。レセプタクル150は、ハウジング155及び端子160を含む。プラグ105の端子115における表面(プラグ105の上面120における端子115の部分)及びレセプタクル150の端子160の表面(レセプタクル150の下面180における端子160の部分)は、実装部である。実装部と基板回路(図示せず)とが半田付けなどにより接続される。一般に、端子と基板回路とが半田付けなどにより接続された後に、レセプタクル150と相手コネクタであるプラグ105とは嵌合される。なお、図1及び後述する図で示される、X、Y、Zは、対応する軸における方向を示しており、必要に応じ、X方向、Y方向及びZ方向は、それぞれ、幅方向、奥行方向及び高さ方向とも称される。

端子を実装したコネクタ
図5aは、図2aにおける配置において、上から見たレセプタクル150における端子160-13の部分を示す。図5bは、端子160-13を示しており、図5aにおいて示されている文字「B」で結ばれる線上の断面図であり、図5a中に示される矢印方向から見た図を示す。
上記の実施例によるコネクタ組立体は、図1に示されているように、プラグ105及びレセプタクル150の底面の端子115及び160を長手方向に1組として配置した端子アレイ2列を有する。しかしながら、これは例示であり、端子アレイは、1列又は3列以上でもよい。
特許請求の範囲に記載の「第1の軸」、「第2の軸」及び「第3の軸」は、明細書に記載の「X」軸、「Y」軸及び「Z」軸に該当する。また、特許請求の範囲に記載の「第1の軸の方向」、「第2の軸の方向」、「第3の軸の方向」は、例えば、明細書に記載の「幅方向」、「奥行方向」及び「高さ方向」に該当する。

Claims (8)
- コネクタ用端子であって、
第1の軸の方向である幅方向及び第2の軸の方向である奥行方向に少なくとも平面を有する実装部と、
前記実装部に連続し、第3の軸の方向である高さ方向で逆U字形状である被保持部であって、前記幅方向に長さを有する被保持部と、
前記被保持部に移行部を介して連続し、前記幅方向及び前記奥行方向に少なくとも平面を有する基部と、
起立移行部を介して前記基部に連続し、前記高さ方向に伸びる起立部を有する弾性腕部であって、前記幅方向に長さを有し、さらに、相手コネクタの端子と接触する部分を有する弾性腕部と、
を備え、
前記端子の前記幅方向の長さにおいて、前記起立部の前記幅方向の長さがおおよそ最大である、コネクタ用端子。 - 請求項1に記載のコネクタ用端子において、前記起立部の前記幅方向の長さは、前記端子の前記起立部以外の部分における前記幅方向の長さの一部と同じである、コネクタ用端子。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ用端子を用いたコネクタ。
- コネクタであって、
複数の端子と、
前記複数の端子を、第1の軸の方向である幅方向に保持するハウジングと、を備え、
前記複数の端子は、
前記幅方向及び第2の軸の方向である奥行方向に少なくとも平面を有する実装部と、
前記実装部に連続し、第3の軸の方向である高さ方向で逆U字形状である被保持部であって、前記幅方向に長さを有する被保持部と、
前記被保持部に移行部を介して連続し、前記幅方向及び前記奥行方向に少なくとも平面を有する基部と、
起立移行部を介して前記基部に連続し、前記高さ方向に伸びる起立部を有する弾性腕部であって、前記幅方向に長さを有し、さらに、相手コネクタの端子と接触する部分を有する弾性腕部と、
を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記端子の少なくとも一部を収容する端子収容部を有し、
前記端子収容部は、前記高さ方向及び前記奥行方向の面に平行な第1の突部側壁と、前記第1の突部側壁に対面する第2の突部側壁と、前記第1の突部側壁及び前記第2の突部側壁と接続し、前記高さ方向及び前記幅方向の面に平行な突部端壁を有する弾性腕部収容部を有し、
前記コネクタが他のコネクタと嵌合される前において、前記弾性腕部の少なくとも一部は、前記第1の突部側壁及び前記第2の突部側壁の少なくとも一方と密着、対面、又は接している、コネクタ。 - 請求項4に記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記コネクタが他のコネクタと嵌合された状態において、前記弾性腕部の少なくとも一部は、前記第1の突部側壁及び前記第2の突部側壁の少なくとも一方と密着していない、コネクタ。 - 請求項4に記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記コネクタが他のコネクタと嵌合された後に前記他のコネクタが前記コネクタから抜き出された状態において、前記弾性腕部の少なくとも一部は、前記第1の突部側壁及び前記第2の突部側壁の少なくとも一方と対面又は接している、コネクタ。 - 請求項4から6のいずれか1つに記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記ハウジングは、
前記弾性腕部収容部を形成する突部と、
前記被保持部を一部で保持する壁と、
をさらに備え、
前記突部と前記壁との間において、前記端子収容部及び前記弾性腕部収容部が配置され、
前記端子収容部は、前記基部及び前記起立移行部の少なくとも一方を保持する底部保持部を有する、コネクタ。 - 請求項4から7のいずれか一つに記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記端子の前記幅方向の長さにおいて、前記起立部の前記幅方向の長さがおおよそ最大である、コネクタ。
