Abstract
【解決手段】活物質粒子98と、バインダと、カルボキシメチルセルロース97とを水系溶媒に混合した合剤ペーストを用意する工程と、合剤ペーストを集電体92に塗布する工程と、合剤ペーストを乾燥させる工程とを含んでいる。ここで、合剤ペースト中の固形分率において、エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が0.5wt%以上である非水電解液蓄電デバイスの製造方法。

Description
本発明者は、正極活物質層34と負極活物質層44(図2参照)に含まれる水不溶解性カルボキシメチルセルロースの添加量をそれぞれ変えて試験用電池を構築した。
非水電解液を注液し10時間経過した電池を、SOC(State Of Charge)80%に充電した後、20時間、60℃で保管する。
Liの拡散抵抗の測定では、未充電の電極(負極と負極)または(正極と正極)を重ね合わせて、交流インピーダンス測定によってコールコールプロットを得た。ここで得られたコールコールプロットに―R―抵抗と―Wo−拡散抵抗でフィッティングをかけることで未充電の電極のイオン拡散抵抗が得る。ここでは、水不溶解性カルボキシメチルセルロースを加えない電極のイオン拡散抵抗を100として、各電極のイオン拡散抵抗を評価した。
25℃の温度条件下において、電池をSOC60%の状態に調整し、15mAで10秒間の定電流充電と定電流放電を行い、このときの電圧上昇と電圧降下とから初期抵抗を求めた。ここでは、充電時に得られた抵抗を初期抵抗として採用した。
上記エージング後に、電池の容量を測定した。ここで、電池容量は、電池をCCCV充電によって4.1Vに調整し、その後、予め定められたCCCV放電によって、3.1Vまで放電する。そのときに放電された電気量によって求められる。容量維持率は、電池をSOC80%に調整した後、100A〜150Aの予め定められた電流値で、5秒間の充電と5秒間の放電を1サイクルとして、予め定められた回数(ここでは、1000サイクル)繰り返し、当該サイクル試験後に電池容量を再度測定した。サイクル試験後の電池容量を、サイクル試験前の電池容量で割った値を、容量維持率とした。
上記初期抵抗測定後の電池にハイレートサイクル試験を行った。ここでのハイレートサイクル試験は、予め定められたパルス電流で充放電を行なった。ここでは、例えば、車両用途にて、高速道路でのアクセルペダルの動きを模した条件などで生じうる、パルス電流がハイレートサイクル試験用に用意されるとよい。

Claims (7)
- 活物質粒子と、バインダと、カルボキシメチルセルロースとを水系溶媒に混合した合剤ペーストを用意する工程と、
前記合剤ペーストを集電体に塗布する工程と、
前記合剤ペーストを乾燥させる工程と
を含み、
前記合剤ペースト中の固形分率において、エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が0.5wt%以上である、
非水電解液蓄電デバイスの製造方法。 - 前記合剤ペースト中の固形分率において、エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が15wt%以下である、請求項1に記載された非水電解液蓄電デバイスの製造方法。
- 前記合剤ペーストを用意する工程は、活物質粒子とバインダとが水系溶媒に混合された合剤ペーストが用意され、当該合剤ペーストに、エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースを混入する工程を含む、請求項1または2に記載された非水電解液蓄電デバイスの製造方法。
- エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースが含まれており、単位面積当りの4μm以上106μm以下の細孔が総細孔容積の25%以上有する活物質層を備えた、非水電解液蓄電デバイス。
- 前記活物質層に含まれる前記エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が0.5wt%以上である、請求項4に記載された非水電解液蓄電デバイス。
- 前記活物質層に含まれる前記エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が2wt%以下である、請求項4に記載された非水電解液蓄電デバイス。
- 前記活物質層に含まれるカルボキシメチルセルロースのうち、前記エーテル化度40(mol/C6)以下のカルボキシメチルセルロースの割合が50%以上である、請求項4から6までの何れか一項に記載された非水電解液蓄電デバイス。
