Abstract
Description
自動走行が行われる車両において、制動制御装置及び/又は制動装置に異常が生じ、車輪に必要な制動力を付与することができなくなると、自動走行による制動が必要になっても、車両を自動的に減速し停止させることができない。有人の自動走行の場合には、運転者がパーキングブレーキ装置を操作するなどの非常の措置によって車両を停止させることができるが、無人の自動走行の場合には、運転者が降車しているため、代替の制動によって車両を停止できることが望まれる。
〔課題を解決するための手段及び発明の効果〕
〔発明の態様〕
[第一の実施形態]
図1に示されているように、第一の実施形態にかかる代替制動装置10は、歯車式自動変速機12を備えた車両14に適用されており、自動変速機12を制御する変速制御装置16を含んでいる。車両14は、更に、自動運転のような自動走行を制御する自動走行制御装置18と、車両14に制動力を付与する制動装置20と、制動装置を制御する制動制御装置22とを備えている。
変速制御装置16は、自動走行中に車両14を減速して停止させる制動が必要であるにも拘らず、制動装置20及び/又は制動制御装置22に異常が発生して制動装置により車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないときには、自動変速機12を使用して代替の制動制御を行う。このことは、後述の第二乃至第四の実施形態についても同様である。
次に、図3に示されたフローチャートを参照して第一の実施形態における代替の制動制御を含む変速制御ルーチンについて説明する。図3に示されたフローチャートによる制御は、図には示されていないイグニッションスイッチがオンであるときに、変速制御装置16によって所定の時間毎に繰返し実行される。
(1)自動走行制御装置18から送信される情報に基づき、自動走行の制御による制動が必要である。
(2)制動装置20及び/又は制動制御装置22の異常により、車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないと推定される。
(3)制動制御装置22と通信できず、車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができることを確認できない。
図4は、第二の実施形態にかかる代替制動装置の歯車式自動変速機12を示す説明図である。なお、第二の実施形態にかかる代替制動装置が適用される車両の構成は、図1に示された第一の実施形態における車両の構成と同一である。このことは後述の第三及び第四の実施形態についても同様である。
第二の実施形態における代替の制動制御においては、クラッチC21及びC23が接続され且つクラッチC22及びC24が解放された状態にてブレーキB22のみが作動される。なお、代替の制動制御におけるクラッチC21〜C24及びブレーキB21及びB22の制御態様は、上記表2に示された自動変速機12の通常の変速段の制御態様におけるクラッチC21〜C24及びブレーキB21及びB22の制御態様には含まれない制御態様である。
図5は、第三の実施形態にかかる代替制動装置の歯車式自動変速機12を示す説明図である。この実施形態の歯車式自動変速機12は、無段変速機(CVT:Continuously Variable Transmission)112を備えた前輪駆動車用の歯車式自動変速機であり、プラネタリギヤ装置114を含んでいる。プラネタリギヤ装置114は、デュアルピニオン式のプラネタリギヤ装置である。
車両14の前進時には、リバースブレーキRBが非作動の状態にてフォワードクラッチFCが接続され、インタミディエイトシャフト122とインプットシャフト138との連結が解除される。よって、インプットシャフト138の駆動力は、クランク136、フォワードクラッチFC、キャリア132、インナピニオンギヤ126、アウタピニオンギヤ1218及びクランク142を介してプライマリプーリ116のシャフト140へ伝達される。
第三の実施形態における代替の制動制御においては、フォワードクラッチFCが接続されると共に、リバースブレーキRBが作動される。フォワードクラッチFCが接続され且つリバースブレーキRBが作動される制御態様は、車両14の前進時及び後進時におけるフォワードクラッチFC及びリバースブレーキRBの制御態様とは異なる。
図6は、第四の実施形態にかかる代替制動装置の歯車式自動変速機12を示す説明図である。この実施形態の歯車式自動変速機12は、俗に「ダイレクトシフトCVT」と呼ばれる発進ギヤ158及び無段変速機160を備えた前輪駆動車用の歯車式変速機であり、プラネタリギヤ装置162を含んでいる。プラネタリギヤ装置162は、第三の実施形態のプラネタリギヤ装置114と同様に構成されたデュアルピニオン式のプラネタリギヤ装置である。
駆動力が発進ギヤ158を介して伝達されるギヤモードと、駆動力が無断変速機160を介して伝達されるベルトモードとの間の駆動力伝達モードの切り替えは、シンクロ機構200及びNo.2クラッチC42が変速制御装置16によって制御されることにより行われる。
ギヤモード及びベルトモードの何れにおいても、前進と後進との間の切り替えは、No.1クラッチC41及びリバースブレーキRBが変速制御装置16によって制御されることにより行われる。また、車両14の前進時及び後進時の何れの場合にも、ベルトモードにおける無段階の変速比の制御は、変速制御装置16によって上述のようにプライマリプーリ166及びセカンダリプーリ168における金属ベルト170の巻き掛け径を変化させることにより行われる。
第四の実施形態における代替の制動制御においては、クラッチC41が接続され、クラッチC42の接続が解除され、シンクロ機構200が作動され、リバースブレーキRBが作動される。代替の制動制御におけるクラッチC41、クラッチC42、シンクロ機構200及びリバースブレーキRBの制御態様は、ギヤモード及びベルトモードに何れの場合にも、車両14の前進時及び後進時のクラッチC41などの制御態様とは異なる。
図7は、本発明による車両の代替制動装置の第五の実施形態を含む制御ブロック図である。この実施形態は、運転者の運転による走行中に必要に応じて代替制動が実行される実施形態である。なお、図7において、図1に示されたブロックと同一のブロックには、図1において付された符号と同一の符号が付されている。
次に、図8に示されたフローチャートを参照して第五の実施形態における代替の制動制御を含む変速制御ルーチンについて説明する。図8に示されたフローチャートによる制御は、図には示されていないイグニッションスイッチがオンであるときに、変速制御装置16によって所定の時間毎に繰返し実行される。
(4)ストップランプスイッチ226から送信される情報に基づき、ストップランプスイッチがオンである。
(5)制動制御装置22から送信される情報に基づき、マスタシリンダ圧力Pmが基準値以上である。
(6)制動装置20及び/又は制動制御装置22の異常により、車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないと推定される。
(7)制動制御装置22と通信できず、車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができることを確認できない。
Claims (6)
- 歯車の噛合態様を変化させる少なくとも一つのクラッチ及び少なくとも一つのブレーキを有する歯車式自動変速機と、前記クラッチ及び前記ブレーキを制御することにより前記自動変速機の変速段を切り替えるよう構成された制御装置と、を有する車両の代替制動装置において、
前記制御装置は、前記車両の制動が必要であるにも拘らず、前記車両の制動装置が車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないと判定したときには、前記ブレーキの制動力によって前記自動変速機の出力軸が制動されるように前記クラッチ及び前記ブレーキを制御する代替制動を行うよう構成されていることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両の代替制動装置において、前記代替制動が行われるときの前記クラッチ及び前記ブレーキの制御態様は、前記代替制動が行われることなく前記車両が走行するときの前記クラッチ及び前記ブレーキの制御態様とは異なることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。
- 請求項1に記載の車両の代替制動装置において、前記車両は自動走行の制御が行われるよう構成されており、前記制御装置は、前記自動走行の制御中に前記車両の制動が必要であるにも拘らず、前記車両の制動装置が車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないと判定したときに、前記代替制動を行うよう構成されていることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。
- 請求項1に記載の車両の代替制動装置において、前記自動走行は、無人のリモート駐車の自動走行、無人の自動バレー駐車の自動走行、有人の運転支援の自動走行及び有人の自動運転の自動走行の何れかであることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。
- 請求項1に記載の車両の代替制動装置において、前記制御装置は、運転者による車両の運転中に車両の制動が必要であるにも拘らず、前記車両の制動装置が車輪に正常に制動力を付与することができないと判定したときに、前記代替制動を行うよう構成されていることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。
- 請求項1乃至5の何れか一つに記載の車両の代替制動装置において、前記制御装置は、前記ブレーキの制動力によって前記自動変速機の出力軸が制動されると共に、前記ブレーキの制動力によって前記自動変速機の入力軸が制動されないように、前記クラッチ及び前記ブレーキを制御するよう構成されていることを特徴とする車両の代替制動装置。
