Abstract
Description
本出願は、2017年11月21日付韓国特許出願第10−2017−0155471号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
R1、R2、R4、R5は、それぞれ独立して水素、ハロゲン基、置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルキル基、又は置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルコキシ基であり、
R3、R6は、それぞれ独立して置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルキレン基であり、
n1及びn3は、それぞれ独立して0又は1の整数であり、
n2は、1又は2の整数であり、
Aは、炭素又は酸素である。
本発明による添加剤は、下記化学式1及び化学式2で表される化合物でなる群から選択される少なくとも一つ以上の化合物を含む。
R1、R2、R4、R5は、それぞれ独立して水素、ハロゲン基、置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルキル基又は置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルコキシ基であり、
R3、R6は、それぞれ独立して置換又は非置換された炭素数1から5のアルキレン基であり、
n1及びn3は、それぞれ独立して0又は1の整数であり、n2は、1又は2の整数であり、Aは、炭素又は酸素である。
次に、本発明によるリチウム二次電池用非水電解液に対して説明する。
次に、本発明によるリチウム二次電池に対して説明する。本発明のまた他の実施形態による二次電池は、正極、負極、前記正極と負極との間に介在された分離膜、及びリチウム二次電池用非水電解液を含む。前記リチウム二次電池用非水電解液に対しては、前述の内容と同一であるため、具体的な説明を省略する。
1.実施例1
(1)リチウム二次電池用非水電解液の製造
エチレンカーボネート(EC)とエチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)を30:70(体積%)の比率で混合した後、LiPF6が1M濃度になるように溶解して有機溶媒を製造する。以後、前記有機溶媒99gに添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物を1.0g添加してから、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造した。
溶媒であるN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)100重量部に、正極活物質(Li(Ni0.5Mn0.3Co0.2)O2):導電材(カーボンブラック):バインダー(ポリビニリデンフルオリド(PVDF))を90:5:5重量%の比率で混合した固形分40重量部を添加し、正極合剤スラリーを製造した。以後、前記正極合剤スラリーを、厚さが100μmの正極集電体(Al薄膜)に塗布し、乾燥してからロールプレス(roll press)を実施して正極を製造した。
溶媒であるN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)100重量部に、負極活物質として天然黒鉛及びSiOx(0≦x≦1)、導電材(カーボンブラック)、バインダー(ポリビニリデンフルオリド(PVDF))を90:5:3:2重量%の比率で混合した固形分100重量部を添加し、負極合剤スラリーを製造した。以後、前記負極合剤スラリーを、厚さが90μmの負極集電体(Cu薄膜)に塗布し、乾燥してからロールプレス(roll press)を実施して負極を製造した。
前述の方法で製造した正極と負極を、ポリエチレン多孔性フィルムとともに積層して電極組立体を製造した後、これをパウチ型電池ケースに入れ、前記製造されたリチウム二次電池用非水電解液を注入してから密封してリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりに化学式1−2の化合物を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりに化学式1−3の化合物を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりに化学式1−4の化合物を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりに化学式2−1の化合物を含むことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりに化学式2−2の化合物を含むことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
1.比較例1
添加剤を用いることなく、エチレンカーボネート(EC)とエチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)を30:70(vol%)の比率で混合した後、LiPF6が1M濃度になるように溶解して製造された有機溶媒100gをリチウム二次電池用非水電解液として用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりにLiPO2F2を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記実施例1において、リチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造する時、添加剤として前記化学式1−1の化合物の代わりにメチルエタンスルホネート(Methyl ethanesulfonate、MES)を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用非水電解液及びこれを含むリチウム二次電池を製造した。
エチレンカーボネート(EC)とエチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)を30:70(vol%)の比率で混合してから、LiPF6が1M濃度になるように溶解して有機溶媒98.0gを製造した後、添加剤としてLiPO2F2を1.0g、メチルエステルスルホネート(Methyl ester sulfate、MES)を1.0g用いてリチウム二次電池用非水電解液を製造したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
1.実験例:高温保存性能の測定
実施例1から6及び比較例1から4で製造されたそれぞれの二次電池を、0.8Cレート(rate)で4.35Vまで定電流/定電圧条件の充電及び0.05Cカットオフ(cut off)充電を実施し、0.5C 3.0Vで放電した(初期放電容量)。次いで、0.8Cレートで4.35Vまで定電流/定電圧条件の充電及び0.05Cカットオフ充電を実施し、60℃で2週間保管した後、パウチ型電池の厚さを測定して厚さの増加量を確認した。
以後、常温で0.5C 3.0Vで放電し、その放電量を測定した(残存放電量)。再び0.8Cレート、4.35Vまで定電流/定電圧条件の充電及び0.05Cカットオフ充電、0.5C 3.0V放電して放電量を測定した(回復放電量)。このとき、測定された厚さの増加量、残存放電量及び回復放電量を下記表1に記載した。一方、残存放電量と回復放電量は、初期放電容量対比%で示した。
実施例1から6及び比較例1から4で製造されたそれぞれの二次電池を0.8Cレート(rate)で4.35Vまで定電流/定電圧条件の充電及び0.05Cカットオフ充電を実施し、0.5C 3.0Vで放電した。次いで、0.8Cレートで4.35Vまで定電流/定電圧条件の充電及び0.05Cカットオフ充電を実施し、常温で0.5C 3.0Vで放電することを1回サイクルにして、200回サイクルを実施した後のサイクル容量維持率(retention、%)を、1回サイクルの容量に対比して下記表2に記載した。
