Abstract
Description
WC、金属結合相、並びにMe12C及び/又はMe6C炭化物を含むイータ相を含む第1の焼結された超硬合金体を提供することであって、MeがW、Mo及び結合相金属の一又は複数から選択され、超硬合金中の準化学量論炭素含有量が−0.30wt%から−0.16wt%である、超硬合金体を提供する工程、
前記第1の焼結された超硬合金に、1時間から24時間の間、500℃から830℃の温度で熱処理を施す工程
を含む超硬合金基材を含む切削工具を作製する方法に関する。
基材1に熱処理を650℃で2時間施した。熱処理された基材1及び熱処理されていない基材1をまとめて参照1とし、それに700℃で蒸着する同じPVDコーティングを提供した。コーティングで熱処理された基材は、以下本明細書では発明1と表し、コーティングで処理されていない基材は比較1と表し、コーティングされた参照物1を参照1と表す。
この試験、正面フライス加工試験では、本発明によるコーティングされた超硬合金を、先行技術による三つのインサートと比較した。これらすべては同一の形状を有する。試験を、ネズミ鋳鉄、SS0125で、以下の切削パラメータを用いた湿潤条件下で実施した:
Vc=300
Fz: 0.35
Ap: 3
Ae: 29mm。
Claims (15)
- WC、金属結合相、並びにMe12C及び/又はMe6C炭化物を含むイータ相を含む第1の焼結された超硬合金体を提供する工程であって、MeがW、Mo及び結合相金属の一又は複数から選択され、超硬合金中の準化学量論炭素含有量が−0.30wt%から−0.16wt%である、超硬合金体を提供する工程、
前記第1の焼結された超硬合金に、1時間から24時間の間、500℃から830℃の温度で熱処理を施す工程
を含む超硬合金基材を含む切削工具を作製する方法。 - 熱処理のための温度が、1.5時間から8時間の持続時間に対して600℃から800℃である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱処理が別個の炉内で生じる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 熱処理工程が、第1の超硬合金体に、基材温度が500℃から830℃であり且つ蒸着時間が1.5時間から24時間である物理的蒸着工程を施すことによって実施される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体中の準化学量論炭素含有量が、−0.28wt%から−0.17wt%である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体中のイータ相の量が、2vol%から10vol%である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体中のイータ相が、0.1μmから10μmの粒径を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体において、結合相含有量が2wt%から20wt%である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体中の結合相がコバルトである、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1の超硬合金体中のイータ相の分布が、超硬合金基材全体にわたって同じである、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 切削工具にPVDコーティングが提供されている、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から11のいずれかに従って作製された超硬合金基材を含む切削工具。
- WC並びにCo、Fe及びNiの一又は複数を含む結合相を含む超硬合金基材であって、超硬合金が、MeがW、Mo及び結合相金属から選択される一又は複数の金属であるMe12C及び/又はMe6C炭化物を含むイータ相も含み、超硬合金中の準化学量論炭素含有量が−0.30wt%から−0.16wt%である、超硬合金基材を含む、請求項12に記載の切削工具。
- 結合相がCoであり、熱処理後の保磁力が、熱処理前に測定される保磁力よりも少なくとも1.5kA/m高い、請求項12又は13に記載の切削工具。
- Co(fcc)/Co(hcp)間の体積比が80/20より低い、請求項12から14のいずれか一項に記載の切削工具。
