Abstract
Description

Claims (20)
- 骨プレートに接続するために構成された照準ガイドシステムであって、前記骨プレートが縦軸に沿って延在し、近位部分と、シャフトと、遠位部分とを備え、前記骨プレートがシャフトに沿って複数の第一のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分における複数の第二のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分に近接した取付けねじ孔と、を画定する照準ガイドシステムであって、
近位端から遠位端まで延在する剛直な本体を有し、前記剛直な本体を通ってその前記近位端と前記遠位端との間で画定された複数の照準孔を有し、前記遠位端が前記本体を通って取付けスロットを画定する、照準アームと、
前記複数の照準孔のそれぞれが、前記第一のねじ孔のそれぞれ一つに整列した状態で、前記照準アームが前記骨プレートに対して所定位置に固定されるよう、前記取付けねじ孔と前記取付けスロットとに係合するよう構成された接続アセンブリと、を備える、照準ガイドシステム。 - 前記接続アセンブリが、嵌合面から延在する方向付けボスを有する第一の端を有する取付けポストを含み、前記方向付けボスが、前記照準アームが前記嵌合面上に置かれ、適切な配向で維持されるように、前記取付けスロットで受けられるように構成された、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 前記照準アームが可逆的である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 骨プレートに接続するために構成された照準ガイドシステムであって、前記骨プレートが縦軸に沿って延在し、近位部分と、シャフトと、遠位部分とを備え、前記骨プレートがシャフトに沿って複数の第一のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分における複数の第二のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分に近接した取付けねじ孔と、を画定する照準ガイドシステムであって、
近位端から遠位端まで延在する剛直な本体を有し、前記剛直な本体を通ってその前記近位端と前記遠位端との間で画定された複数の照準孔を有し、前記遠位端が前記本体を通って取付けスロットを画定する、照準アームと、
前記複数の照準孔のそれぞれが前記第一のねじ孔のそれぞれ一つに整列した状態で、前記照準アームが前記骨プレートに対して所定位置に固定されるよう、前記取付けねじ孔と前記取付けスロットとに係合するよう構成された接続アセンブリであって、
嵌合面から延在する方向付けボスを備えた第一の端であって、前記方向付けボスが、前記照準アームが前記嵌合面上に置かれ、適切な配向で維持されるように、取付けスロットで受けられるように構成された第一の端と、前記取付けブロックを有する第二の端であって、前記取付けブロックが複数のボール端ピンを画定する遠位面を有し、前記各ボール端ピンが、前記取付けねじ孔周りの前記プレート面のそれぞれのくぼみに受けられるように構成された第二の端と、を有する取付けポストと、
第一と第二の端との間に延在するシャフト本体を有するねじ山シャフトであって、各端が複数のねじ山を含み、前記ねじ山シャフトが、前記シャフト本体の前記第一および第二の端の少なくとも一つの前記ねじ山が前記取付けねじ孔に螺合するよう構成された状態で、前記取付けポストの貫通穴を通って延在する、ねじ山シャフトと、
前記ねじ山シャフトの少なくとも一つの前記ねじ山を螺合して、前記照準アームと骨プレートとの間に前記取付けポストを固定するよう構成されたファスナーと、を備える、接続アセンブリと、を備える、照準ガイドシステム。 - 前記ファスナーが、ワッシャーであって、その一方の側に画定される接触面と、その反対側に画定される半球形シートとを有するワッシャーと、球形ナットであって、前記シートの構成を相補する半球形構成を有するボール部分を有し、前記ボール部分が、前記ねじ山シャフトの少なくとも一つの端で螺合可能に受けられるよう構成されたねじ山穴を画定する球形ナットと、を含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 照準ガイドアームを骨プレートに対して固定する方法であって、近位端から遠位端まで延在する剛直な本体を有し、前記剛直な本体を通ってその前記近位端と前記遠位端との間で画定された複数の照準孔を有し、前記遠位端が前記本体を通って取付けスロットを画定し、前記骨プレートが縦軸に沿って延在し、近位部分と、シャフトと、遠位部分と、を備え、前記骨プレートがシャフトに沿って複数の第一のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分における複数の第二のねじ孔と、前記遠位部分に近接した取付けねじ孔と、前記取付けねじ孔周りに複数のくぼみと、を画定し、前記方法が、
前記ねじ山シャフトが傾斜角で前記骨プレートから延在するように、前記ねじ山シャフトの第一の端を前記取付けねじ孔に螺合することと、
取付けポストの一方の端にある、取付けブロックから延在するボール端ピンが前記骨プレート上の前記くぼみ内に着座するよう、前記ねじ山シャフトの上で前記取付けポストを摺動させることであって、前記取付けポストの反対端が、嵌合面から延在する方向付けボスを有する、摺動することと、
前記照準ガイドアームの第一の面が前記嵌合面上に着座した状態の前記取付けスロットを通って延在する前記方向付けボスを有する前記照準ガイドアームを位置付けることと、
ファスナーを前記ねじ山シャフトの第二の端に固定することであって、前記ファスナーが前記第一の面の反対の前記照準ガイドの前記本体の第二の面と係合して、前記骨プレートに対して前記照準ガイドの前記本体を固定された配向に固定する、固定することと、を含む、方法。
