Description
この一般的な型の骨板は欧州特許出願A 0,530,585明細書により知られている。円錐ヘッド構造を有する骨スクリューを使用する円錐板孔による骨板の永久固定は、スクリューヘッドと板孔の間の達成可能な形状ロッキング、即ち、確実なロッキングに依存し、このようなロッキングは小さいサイズを取り扱う時に最も問題がある。
本発明の目的はこのような骨板を固定するのに使用される骨スクリューを使用して最適の形状ロッキングを確実にする上記の種の骨板を提供することである。
本発明は請求項1の特徴を明らかに示す骨板によりこの問題を解決する。
本発明の更に有利な実施例が従属の請求項に特徴付けられている。
本発明により与えられる利点は、実質的には、骨板を固定するのに利用できるスクリューヘッドの表面構造の本発明の設計のために、この板による優れた形状ロッキングが達成されることである。
本発明及び本発明の更なる実施例が幾つかの例示実施例の部分略図に関して以下に説明される。
図1は本発明の骨板の長さ方向の断面である。
図2は図1の骨板を固定するための骨スクリューの斜視図である。
図3は図1の骨板の上表面の部分斜視図である。
図1〜3に示された骨板1は幾つかの板孔3を含み、夫々の孔はそれが骨接触表面2に向かって先細になり、骨スクリュー4を受け取るような形状にされている。骨スクリュー4は、これらのスクリューを円錐板孔3(これらに、それらのスクリューが適合されている)に挿入するための側部表面構造または表面組織7を有する円錐ヘッド5で形成され、そしてまた骨に固定するためのネジ山6で形成される。
夫々の骨スクリュー4のヘッド5の側部表面構造7は骨板1中の板孔3付近の材料より大きな硬度を有する。その結果として、骨スクリュー4が板孔3に軸がずれて挿入される場合でさえも、最適の形状ロッキングが達成される。何となれば、一層硬質の側部表面構造7は板孔3の一層軟質の材料にくい込むことができるからである。
側部表面構造7の硬度は230〜450HV(ビッカース硬度)の範囲で選ばれることが有利であり、250〜350HVで選ばれることが好ましい。骨板1に適した材料は100〜220、好ましくは120〜200HVの硬度を有する金属である。有利には、側部表面構造7の硬度は、好ましくはその板孔3の付近で、骨板1の硬度の少なくとも2倍である。
側部表面構造7は、例えば、円周リブの形態で、骨スクリュー4の長さ方向の軸に対し横の構造にされることが好ましい。この特徴が形状ロッキングを改良する。
図2に示されるような本発明の好ましい実施態様において、骨スクリュー4のヘッド5の側部表面7はネジ山9またはらせん構造を有することである。
図3に示されるように、板孔3はまたネジ山8を有していてもよい。有利には、二つのネジ山8及び9は互いに適合するであろう。有利には、このような組み合わせにおいて、骨スクリュー4のヘッド5のネジ山9は板孔3のネジ山8にかみ合う二つ以上の回転を有するであろう。
その上部自由端部で、夫々の骨スクリューのヘッド5は六角ソケットレンチを受け取る六角くぼみ10を含む。
骨板1より硬質である材料から骨スクリュー4のヘッド5を完全につくることに代えて、ヘッドはまた板孔3の付近で骨板1より大きい硬度を有する被覆物で覆われてもよい。この被覆物は500〜10,000HVの表面硬度を有すればよく、好ましくは1,000〜5,000HVである。
骨板1はプラスチック製であることが好ましく、骨スクリュー4は金属またはセラミック製であることが好ましい。特に、下記の型のプラスチック(強化または未強化を問わない)が骨板に適している。
40〜70%の破断伸び及び3,000〜6,000N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリアクリルエーテルケトン(PEAK)またはポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK);
80〜120%の破断伸び及び2,000〜3,500N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリスルホン;
1.5〜2.5%の破断伸び及び5,000〜20,000N/mm2のヤング率を有する液晶ポリマー(LCP);
10〜50%の破断伸び及び2,00〜3,500N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリオキシメチレン(POM);
0.2〜1.0%の破断伸び及び12,000〜20,000N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)。
プラスチックは金属繊維、プラスチック繊維または炭素繊維をプラスチックマトリックスに埋め込むことにより強化されてもよい。
Claims (18)
- 骨接触表面2に向かって先細になっている複数の円錐板孔3と、骨板1を骨に固定するための少なくとも二つの骨スクリュー4とを有する骨板1であって、夫々の前記スクリューが側部表面組織7を有する円錐ヘッド5を有し、前記ヘッドが板孔3に適合するような形状にされ、かつ前記孔への挿入に使用され、骨スクリュー4が骨への固定のための細いネジ6を更に含む骨板1であって、
A)前記側部表面構造7が板孔3の付近に配置される骨板1の材料よりも大きい硬度を有し、
B)前記側部表面構造7の硬度が、その板孔3の付近で、骨板1の硬度の少なくとも2倍であり、これにより骨スクリュー4が板孔3に軸がずれて挿入されても、円錐ヘッド5のより硬い側部表面構造7により各板孔3のくい込みにより、各骨スクリューと板孔の間で形状ロッキングが達成される
ことを特徴とする骨板1。 - 前記側部表面構造7の硬度が230〜450HVであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が100〜220HVの硬度を有する金属からなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の骨板1。
- 骨スクリュー4のヘッド5の前記側部表面7がスレッド9またはらせん構造とフィットされていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 板孔3がネジ山8を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨スクリュー4のヘッド5が、その板孔3の付近で、骨板1より高い硬度の被覆物とフィットされていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 被覆物が500〜10,000HVの表面硬度を示す請求項6に記載の骨板1。
- 被覆物が1,000〜5,000HVの表面硬度を示す請求項7に記載の骨板1。
- 骨スクリュー4のヘッド5の前記側部外表面構造7及び板孔3が相互に適合するネジ山8、9を示す請求項5ないし請求項8のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨スクリュー4のヘッド5のネジ山9が板孔3のネジ山8に対し一つ以上のネジ山を含むことを特徴とする請求項5ないし請求項8のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 前記側部表面構造7が骨スクリュー4の長さ方向の軸に対し横に走っている構造である円周リブを含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項10のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1がプラスチック製であり、かつ骨スクリュー4が金属またはセラミック製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項11のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が40〜70%の破断伸び及び3,000〜6,000N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリアクリルエーテルケトンまたはポリエーテルエーテルケトン製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が80〜120%の破断伸び及び2,000〜3,500N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリサルホン製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が1.5〜2.5%の破断伸び及び5,000〜20,000N/mm2のヤング率を有する液晶ポリマー製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が10〜50%の破断伸び及び2,000〜3,500N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリオキシメチレン製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が0.2〜1.0%の破断伸び及び12,000〜20,000N/mm2のヤング率を有するポリフェニレンサルファイド製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
- 骨板1が金属繊維、プラスチック繊維または炭素繊維で強化されたプラスチック製であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項17のいずれかに記載の骨板1。
