Abstract
Description
− MKVx:鎖延長剤xのg/molで表すモル質量、

− mges:補助剤を含まない全出発材料の総質量
− k:鎖延長剤の数)
によって定義され、
鎖延長剤は、5〜10個の炭素原子を有するジオール、1種又は1種を超えるジオールが4〜10個の炭素原子を有し、且つ全てのさらなるジオールが2〜10個の炭素原子を有する2種以上のジオールの混合物、4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールと1種又は1種を超えるジアミンとの混合物、又は4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールとアミノアルコールとの混合物である。

(a)イソシアナートとイソシアナート反応性化合物及び鎖延長剤とを、任意に1種以上の触媒及び/又は助剤の存在下で反応させてポリウレタンを形成する工程であって、イソシアナートの量、イソシアナート反応性化合物の量及び鎖延長剤の量は、熱可塑性ポリウレタンが0.1〜0.95の範囲の硬質相分率を有するように調整され、その硬質相分率は以下の式
− MKVx:鎖延長剤xのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mKVx:鎖延長剤xのgで表す質量、
− MIxo:イソシアナートのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mges:補助剤を含まない全出発材料の総質量
− k:鎖延長剤の数)
によって定義され、
鎖延長剤は、5〜10個の炭素原子を有するジオール、1種又は1種を超えるジオールが4〜10個の炭素原子を有し、且つ全てのさらなるジオールが2〜10個の炭素原子を有する2種以上のジオールの混合物、4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールと1種又は1種を超えるジアミンとの混合物、又は4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールとアミノアルコールとの混合物である工程、
(b)ポリウレタンに発泡剤を含浸させる工程、
(c)発泡剤含浸ポリウレタンを減圧して膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンにする工程、
を含む方法を使用して得られる。
(a) 膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを型に導入する工程、及び
(b) 型に導入した膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを、蒸気、熱気又は高エネルギー放射線に付し、膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを初めに表面で溶解させ、合わせて融解させて成型部品を形成する工程
を含む。
種々の熱可塑性ポリウレタンを混合して合成するための反応押出機として使用したCoperion GmbH社製のZSK43二軸押出機の処理部分の開始から6L/Dの距離で、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナート、1000±100g/molの数平均モル質量(Mn)を有するポリテトラメチレングリコール、ジオール及び1質量%のUV安定剤及び熱安定剤を測り入れ、180〜220℃の温度で30ppmの触媒としてのスズ(II)ジオクトエートと混合して反応させた。6L/Dの距離は、逆流するモノマーが駆動ユニットに入ることを回避するために選択した。特定の実施例材料及び参考材料を構成する個々の成分の正確な割合を表1に列挙する。
出発物質が得られ、それらをさらに次のように処理して膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンペレットにした。乾燥させた実施例材料及び参考材料を、二軸押出機(ZE 75、KraussMaffei Bernstorff社)中でさらなる添加剤である核剤としての0.1質量%のタルク及び任意にTPU(別の押出法で、平均官能価2.05を有する4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナートと混合した)と混合し、混合物を160℃〜220℃の温度範囲で溶解させた。発泡剤CO2及びN2を押出機内で溶解物中に注入し、熱可塑性ポリウレタン及びさらなる添加剤と混合して、均質な溶解物を形成した。本発明の実施例及び比較例の個別の正確な組成を、表3に列挙する。溶解混合物を、続いてギアポンプ(材料の組成に依存して約160〜200℃)でペレット化ダイ(材料の組成に依存して約180〜200℃)中に送り、水中ペレット化(UWP)切断チャンバ内で切断してペレットにし、ペレットを温度を制御し加圧した水で運び、その処理中に膨張させた。膨張ペレットを遠心乾燥機によって水から分離した後、膨張ペレットを60℃で2時間乾燥させた。本発明の実施例及び比較例各々について、使用した水温と水圧、及び得られた膨張ペレットの嵩密度を表3に列挙する。実施例1〜3は実施例材料2を利用し、一方で実施例4は実施例材料3を利用した。比較例1、2、5及び6は参考材料1を利用し、比較例3は参考材料2を利用し、比較例4は参考材料3を利用し、比較例7は参考材料4を利用した。加えて、実施例3及び4、及び比較例2、3及び4は、各々1質量%のTPU(別の押出し法で平均官能価2.05を有する4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナートと混合した)と混合した。

実施例5と6、及び比較例8と9について、実施例材料2及び3、又はより厳密には参考材料2及び3を、以下に記載するようにさらに処理した。
Claims (14)
- イソシアナート、500〜10000g/molの分子量を有するイソシアナート反応性化合物、及び鎖延長剤から重合される、慣用の補助剤がさらに存在し得る膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズであって、前記熱可塑性ポリウレタンは0.1〜0.95の範囲の硬質相分率を有し、前記硬質相分率は以下の式
− MKVx:鎖延長剤xのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mKVx:鎖延長剤xのgで表す質量、
− MIxo:イソシアナートのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mges:補助剤を含まない全出発材料の総質量
− k:鎖延長剤の数)
によって定義され、
前記鎖延長剤は、5〜10個の炭素原子を有するジオール、1種又は1種を超えるジオールが4〜10個の炭素原子を有し、且つ全てのさらなるジオールが2〜10個の炭素原子を有する2種以上のジオールの混合物、4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールと1種又は1種を超えるジアミンとの混合物、又は4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールとアミノアルコールとの混合物である、膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。 - 前記イソシアナートが、トリメチレンジイソシアナート、テトラメチレンジイソシアナート、ペンタメチレンジイソシアナート、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアナート、ヘプタメチレンジイソシアナート、オクタメチレンジイソシアナート;2−メチルペンタメチレン1,5−ジイソシアナート、2−エチルブチレン1,4−ジイソシアナート、ブチレン1,4−ジイソシアナート、1−イソシアナト−3,3,5−トリメチル−5−イソシアナトメチルシクロヘキサン;1,4−ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン;1,4−シクロヘキサンジイソシアナート;1−メチル−2,4−シクロヘキサンジイソシアナート;1−メチル−2,6−シクロヘキサンジイソシアナート;2,2’−ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアナート;2,4’−ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアナート;4,4’−ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアナート;2,2’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナート;2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナート;4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナート;1,5−ナフチレンジイソシアナート;2,4−トリレンジイソシアナート;2,6−トリレンジイソシアナート;ジフェニルメタンジイソシアナート;3,3’−ジメチルビフェニルジイソシアナート;1,2−ジフェニルエタンジイソシアナート及びフェニレンジイソシアナート、及びそれらの任意の所望の混合物から選択される、請求項1に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 前記イソシアナート反応性化合物が、ポリエーテルオール、ポリエステルオール、ポリブタジエノール及びポリカーボネートオール及びそれらの混合物、及びそれらのブロックコポリマーから選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 前記鎖延長剤が1種のみの場合、前記鎖延長剤が、1,5−ペンタンジオール、1,6−ヘキサンジオール、1,7−ヘプタンジオール、1,8−オクタンジオール、1,9−ノナンジオール、1,10−デカンジオール、1,4−シクロヘキシルジメタノール、2−ブチル−2−エチルプロパンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、2,2,4−トリメチル−1,3−ペンタンジオール、ピナコール、2−エチル−1,3−ヘキサンジオール、1,4−シクロヘキサンジオール及びN−フェニルジエタノールアミンからなる群から選択される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 2種以上のジオールの混合物を使用する場合、4〜10個の炭素原子を有する前記ジオールが、鎖延長剤の総質量に対して0.001〜50質量%を構成する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 第一のジオールが1,4−ブタンジオール及び1,6−ヘキサンジオールから選択され、全てのさらなるジオールが、1,2−エチレングリコール、1,2−プロピレングリコール、1,3−プロパンジオール、1,4−ブタンジオール、1,5−ペンタンジオール、1,6−ヘキサンジオール、1,7−ヘプタンジオール、1,8−オクタンジオール、1,9−ノナンジオール、1,10−デカンジオール、1,4−シクロヘキシルジメタノール、2−ブチル−2−エチルプロパンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、2,2,4−トリメチル−1,3−ペンタンジオール、ピナコール、2−エチル−1,3−ヘキサンジオール、1,4−シクロヘキサンジオール及びN−フェニルジエタノールアミンから選択され、前記第一のジオールと全てのさらなるジオールが異なる、請求項5に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンが独立気泡であり、1〜250μmの範囲の気泡サイズを有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンが、1〜25mmの最大長手方向寸法を有するビーズの形態である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタン。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンを製造するための方法であって、以下の工程:
(a)イソシアナートとイソシアナート反応性化合物及び鎖延長剤とを、任意に1種以上の触媒及び/又は助剤の存在下で反応させてポリウレタンを形成する工程であって、イソシアナートの量、イソシアナート反応性化合物の量及び鎖延長剤の量は、前記熱可塑性ポリウレタンが0.1〜0.95の範囲の硬質相分率を有するように調整され、前記硬質相分率は以下の式
− MKVx:鎖延長剤xのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mKVx:鎖延長剤xのgで表す質量、
− MIxo:イソシアナートのg/molで表すモル質量、
− mges:補助剤を含まない全出発材料の総質量
− k:鎖延長剤の数)
によって定義され、
前記鎖延長剤が、5〜10個の炭素原子を有するジオール、1種又は1種を超えるジオールが4〜10個の炭素原子を有し、且つ全てのさらなるジオールが2〜10個の炭素原子を有する2種以上のジオールの混合物、4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールと1種又は1種を超えるジアミンとの混合物、又は4〜10個の炭素原子を有する1種又は1種を超えるジオールとアミノアルコールとの混合物である工程、
(b)前記ポリウレタンに発泡剤を含浸させる工程、
(c)前記発泡剤含浸ポリウレタンを減圧して前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンにする工程、
を含む方法。 - 押出機内で前記ポリウレタンに前記発泡剤を含浸させ、前記含浸させたポリウレタンを切断してペレット材料にし、切断直後に前記ペレット材料を減圧して膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズにする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)における前記ポリウレタンの重合の工程を、第一の押出機内又は第一の押出機部分で行い、溶融物の含浸工程を第二の押出機内又は第二の押出機部分で行い、前記含浸させたポリウレタンを切断してペレット材料にし、切断直後に前記ペレット材料を減圧して膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズにする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)で重合させた前記ポリウレタンを切断してペレット材料にし、前記ペレット材料を0.1〜40質量%の発泡剤で、タンク又はオートクレーブ中で、100〜180℃の範囲の温度及び5〜100バールの範囲の圧力で含浸させ、次いで前記発泡剤含有ペレット材料を減圧により発泡させる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から12に記載の膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズから成型部品を製造するための方法であって、以下の工程:
(a) 前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを型に導入する工程、及び
(b) 前記型に導入した前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを、蒸気、熱気又は高エネルギー放射線に付し、前記膨張熱可塑性ポリウレタンビーズを表面で初めに溶解させ、合わせて融解させて成型部品を形成する工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記成型部品が、靴底、体操マット、ボディプロテクター、自動車構造におけるトリム要素、吸音材、振動吸収材、クッションパッド、自転車用サドル、おもちゃ、タイヤ又はタイヤ部品、又は陸上競技用トラック、スポーツホール、又は歩道の表面、サンドイッチ要素における減衰層又は減衰コア、又は包装用品である、請求項13に記載の方法。
