Abstract
Description
本実施形態に係る弾性軸継手10は、図1〜図4Bに示すように、第1回転軸12及び第2回転軸14を接続し、一方の回転軸の回転力を他方の回転軸に伝達する接続部品であり、例えば、図示しない電動アクチュエータ等の回転伝達機構の一部品として用いられる。この場合、一方の回転軸は、モータの駆動軸であり、他方の回転軸は、被動側の回転軸である。
本実施形態に係る弾性軸継手10は、以上のように構成される。次に、弾性軸継手10の製造方法と、弾性軸継手10の動作とについて、図1〜図4Bを参照しながら説明する。
次に、本実施形態に係る弾性軸継手10の変形例(第1〜第4実施例)について、図5A〜図8Bを参照しながら説明する。第1〜第4実施例は、いずれも、第1ハブ16又は第2ハブ18への第1回転軸12又は第2回転軸14の締結手法を模式的に図示したものである。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係る弾性軸継手10では、接続部44に対して周方向に各回転伝達部46が接続され、各回転伝達部46の間に第1突出部28a、28b及び第2突出部38a、38bが嵌り合う。しかも、略棒状(円柱状)の各回転伝達部46の外周部分は、第1ハブ本体部26、第2ハブ本体部36、第1突出部28a、28b及び第2突出部38a、38bに面接触する。

Claims (7)
- 略同一形状に形成され、周方向に所定角度だけ位相がずれた状態で互いに組み付けられる金属製の一対のハブと、該一対のハブの間に介挿された弾性体とを備えた弾性軸継手において、
前記弾性体は、前記弾性軸継手の中心軸上に配置された接続部と、前記周方向に沿って前記接続部に複数設けられ、且つ、前記接続部から前記中心軸に沿って略棒状に延在する回転伝達部とを有し、
前記一対のハブは、回転軸に係合するハブ本体部と、前記各回転伝達部の間で前記ハブ本体部から前記中心軸に沿って延在すると共に該各回転伝達部の外周部分に接触する複数の突出部とをそれぞれ有することを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項1記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記回転伝達部は、略円柱状の弾性部材であり、
前記弾性軸継手の全長への前記接続部の肉厚の影響を最小限とするため、前記各突出部における前記各回転伝達部との接触部分は、円弧状に形成されていることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項2記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記各ハブ本体部の一部は、円弧状に形成され、前記各回転伝達部の外周部分に接触していることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記弾性軸継手の全長への前記接続部の肉厚の影響を最小限とするため、前記接続部は、前記各回転伝達部を接続する薄肉のリング状部材であることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記周方向に沿って、一方のハブの突出部、前記回転伝達部、他方のハブの突出部及び前記回転伝達部の順に繰り返し配置されていることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記弾性体は、ゴム又は樹脂からなることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の弾性軸継手において、
前記ハブ本体部には、孔部又は穴部が形成され、
前記孔部又は前記穴部に前記回転軸の先端部分が挿入され、
前記回転軸の先端部分は、締結手段によって前記ハブ本体部に固定されることを特徴とする弾性軸継手。
