Abstract
Description
図1及び図2に示されるように、本実施形態に係る燃料タンク10は、内部に燃料Fを貯留する樹脂製のタンク本体12と、タンク本体12の内部に配設された樹脂製の内蔵支柱24とを備えている。この内蔵支柱24は、本発明に係る「支柱」に相当する。なお、図2においては、ポンプモジュールに符号16を付している。
次に、本実施形態の作用及び効果について説明する。
なお、上記実施形態では、リブ32の切欠部34が軸部26の外周面26Aにまで達した構成にしたが、本発明はこれに限らず、図6に示される内蔵支柱50(第1変形例)のように、切欠部34が軸部26の外周面26Aにまで達していない構成にしてもよい。この内蔵支柱50では、一側リブ32Aと他側リブ32Bとが切欠部34によって分断されておらず、細幅な細幅部52を介して繋がっている。この第1変形例50では、軸部26のみによって内蔵支柱24の破壊荷重を設定することができないが、それ以外の点では上記実施形態と同様の作用効果が得られる。

Claims (6)
- 互いに対向する一対の壁部を備え、内部に燃料を貯留するタンク本体と、前記一対の壁部間に架設された支柱と、を有する燃料タンクであって、
前記支柱は、
前記一対の壁部の対向方向を軸方向として配置された軸部と、
前記軸部の軸方向両端部から前記軸部の径方向外側へ延出され、前記一対の壁部と結合された一対のフランジ部と、
前記軸部の周囲に複数形成され、前記軸部と前記一対のフランジ部との間に架設されると共に、局部的に脆弱化された脆弱部を備えたリブと、
を有する燃料タンク。 - 前記脆弱部は、前記リブの一部が前記軸部側へ局部的に凹んで形成された切欠部である請求項1に記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記切欠部は、前記軸部の外周面にまで達している請求項2に記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記切欠部は、前記軸部側へ向かうほど前記軸方向の寸法が縮小している請求項2又は請求項3に記載の燃料タンク。
- 前記リブは、前記一対のフランジ部から前記脆弱部側へ向かうほど、前記軸部の径方向の寸法が縮小している請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載の燃料タンク。
- 互いに対向する一対の壁部を備え、内部に燃料を貯留するタンク本体と、前記一対の壁部間に架設された支柱と、を有する燃料タンクであって、
前記支柱は、
前記一対の壁部の対向方向を軸方向として配置された軸部と、
前記軸部の軸方向両端部から前記軸部の径方向外側へ延出され、前記一対の壁部と結合された一対のフランジ部と、
前記軸部の軸方向一側で前記軸部の周囲に複数形成され、前記一対のフランジ部のうちの一方と前記軸部との間に架設された一側リブと、
前記軸部の軸方向他側で前記軸部の周囲に複数形成され、前記一対のフランジ部のうちの他方と前記軸部との間に架設された他側リブと、
