Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の画素は、有機発光ダイオードと、第1ノードの電圧に応じて第1電極に接続された第1駆動電源から有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2駆動電源に流れる電流量を制御し、N型LTPSの第1トランジスタと、データ線と第1ノードの間に接続され、第1走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型酸化物半導体の第2トランジスタと、第1トランジスタの第2電極と初期化電源の間に接続され、第2走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型LTPSの第3トランジスタと、第1駆動電源と第1トランジスタの第1電極の間に接続され、発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されるときターンオフされ、N型LTPSの第4トランジスタと、第1トランジスタの第2電極に接続された第2ノードと第1ノードの間に接続されるストレージキャパシタと、を備える。

Claims (20)
- 有機発光ダイオードと、
第1ノードの電圧に応じて、第1電極に接続された第1駆動電源から前記有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2駆動電源に流れる電流量を制御し、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第1トランジスタと、
データ線と前記第1ノードの間に接続され、第1走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタである第2トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極と初期化電源の間に接続され、第2走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第3トランジスタと、
前記第1駆動電源と前記第1トランジスタの第1電極の間に接続され、発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されるときターンオフされ、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第4トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極に接続された第2ノードと前記第1ノードの間に接続されるストレージキャパシタと、を備えることを特徴とする画素。 - 基準電源と前記第1ノードの間に接続され、第3走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタである第5トランジスタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素。
- 前記第1駆動電源と前記第2ノードの間に接続される第1キャパシタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素。
- 前記第1走査線がi(iは自然数)番目の水平ラインに位置する場合、前記第2走査線はi−1番目の水平ラインに位置する第1走査線に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素。
- 信号生成部の制御によって第1入力端子または第2入力端子を出力端子と接続させるためのバッファ部を備えるステージ回路において、
前記バッファ部は、
前記第1入力端子と前記出力端子の間に並列接続される第11トランジスタ及び第12トランジスタと、
前記第2入力端子と前記出力端子の間に並列接続される第13トランジスタ及び第14トランジスタと、を備え、
前記第11トランジスタ及び第13トランジスタは、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタであって、
前記第12トランジスタ及び第14トランジスタは、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタであることを特徴とするステージ回路。 - 前記第11トランジスタのゲート電極及び前記第12トランジスタのゲート電極は、電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のステージ回路。
- 前記第13トランジスタのゲート電極及び前記第14トランジスタのゲート電極は、電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のステージ回路。
- 走査線、発光制御線、及びデータ線と接続されるように位置する画素と、
前記走査線及び前記発光制御線を駆動するための走査駆動部と、
前記データ線を駆動するためのデータ駆動部と、を備え、
前記画素のうち少なくとも1つの画素は、
有機発光ダイオードと、
第1ノードの電圧に応じて第1電極に接続された第1駆動電源から前記有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2駆動電源に流れる電流量を制御し、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第1トランジスタと、
データ線と前記第1ノードの間に接続され、第1走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタである第2トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極と初期化電源の間に接続され、第2走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第3トランジスタと、
前記第1駆動電源と前記第1トランジスタの第1電極の間に接続され、発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されるときターンオフされ、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタである第4トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2電極に接続された第2ノードと前記第1ノードの間に接続されるストレージキャパシタと、を備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記画素は、
基準電源と前記第1ノードの間に接続され、第3走査線に走査信号が供給されるときターンオンされ、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタである第5トランジスタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記画素は、
前記第1駆動電源と前記第2ノードの間に接続される第1キャパシタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記第1走査線がi(iは自然数)番目の水平ラインに位置する場合、前記第2走査線はi−1番目の水平ラインに位置する第1走査線に設定されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記走査駆動部は、前記走査線及び発光制御線を駆動するためのステージ回路を備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記ステージ回路の少なくとも1つは、信号生成部の制御によって第1入力端子または第2入力端子を出力端子と接続させるためのバッファ部を備え、
前記バッファ部は、
前記第1入力端子と前記出力端子の間に並列接続される第11トランジスタ及び第12トランジスタと、
前記第2入力端子と前記出力端子の間に並列接続される第13トランジスタ及び第14トランジスタと、を備え、
前記第11トランジスタ及び第13トランジスタは、N型LTPS薄膜トランジスタであって、
前記第12トランジスタ及び第14トランジスタは、N型酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタであることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記第11トランジスタのゲート電極及び前記第12トランジスタのゲート電極は、電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第13トランジスタのゲート電極及び前記第14トランジスタのゲート電極は、電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 有機発光ダイオードと、
前記有機発光ダイオードに流れる電流量を制御する第1トランジスタと、
第2トランジスタと、を備え、
前記第1トランジスタは、アクティブ層がポリシリコンであるLTPS薄膜トランジスタであって、前記第2トランジスタは、前記アクティブ層が前記ポリシリコンではない他の物質で構成されることを特徴とする画素。 - 前記第1トランジスタ及び前記第2トランジスタは、同じ導電型であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の画素。
- 前記第1トランジスタ及び前記第2トランジスタは、N型トランジスタであることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の画素。
- 前記第2トランジスタは、前記アクティブ層が酸化物酸化物半導体薄膜トランジスタであることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の画素。
- 前記第2トランジスタは、前記第1トランジスタのゲート電極と電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の画素。
