本申请提供的像素驱动电路及显示面板,采用5T1C结构的像素驱动电路对每一像素中的驱动晶体管的阈值电压进行有效补偿,能够有效降低像素驱动电路在提取阈值电压时的漏电功耗,进而提高像素驱动电路的补偿精度。

本申请涉及显示技术领域,具体涉及一种像素驱动电路及显示面板。
背景技术
AMOLED(Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Display,有源矩阵有机发光二极管)作为新一代显示技术,具有更高的对比度、更快反应速度和更广视角,目前已被广泛地应用于高性能显示领域中。在驱动方式上,AMOLED属于电流驱动型,对晶体管的电性变异较为敏感,晶体管的阈值电压Vth的均匀性和飘移均影响画面显示的准确性和均匀性,为了解决这一问题,通常会引入像素补偿电路。
印刷式显示技术是AMOLED显示发展的重要方向之一,然而印刷式OLED器件的启亮电压较低,采用传统的像素补偿电路,漏电功耗较高,补偿精度较低。
发明内容
本申请实施例提供一种像素驱动电路及显示面板,以解决现有技术中像素驱动电路的漏电功耗高,补偿精度低的技术问题。
本申请提供了一种像素驱动电路,包括第一晶体管、第二晶体管、第三晶体管、第四晶体管、第五晶体管、电容以及发光器件;
所述第一晶体管的栅极电性连接于第一节点,所述第一晶体管的源极电性连接于第二节点,所述第一晶体管的漏极接入电源电压;
所述第二晶体管的栅极接入第一扫描信号,所述第二晶体管的源极接入数据信号,所述第二晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第一节点;
所述第三晶体管的栅极接入第二扫描信号,所述第三晶体管的源极接入参考信号,所述第三晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第二节点;
所述第四晶体管的栅极接入重置信号,所述第四晶体管的源极接入复位信号,所述第四晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第一节点;
所述第五晶体管的栅极接入控制信号,所述第五晶体管的源极电性连接于所述第二节点,所述第五晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述发光器件的阳极;
所述电容的第一端电性连接于所述第一节点,所述电容的第二端电性连接于所述第二节点;
所述发光器件的阳极电性连接于所述第五晶体管的漏极,所述发光器件的阴极接地。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,所述第一晶体管、所述第二晶体管、所述第三晶体管、所述第四晶体管以及所述第五晶体管均为同种类型的晶体管。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,所述像素驱动电路的驱动时序包括:
第一复位阶段,对所述第二节点的电位进行复位;
第二复位阶段,对所述第一节点的电位进行复位;
阈值电压提取阶段,提取所述第一晶体管的阈值电压并存储至所述电容上;
数据写入阶段,将所述数据信号写入所述电容的第一端,并根据所述电容的耦合作用,所述电容的第二端的电位跳变至相应电位。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,在所述第一复位阶段,所述第二扫描信号和所述控制信号为高电位,所述第一扫描信号及所述重置信号为低电位,所述参考信号通过所述第三晶体管传输至所述第二节点。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,在所述第二复位阶段,所述第二扫描信号和所述重置信号为高电位,所述第一扫描信号和所述控制信号为低电位,所述复位信号通过所述第四晶体管传输至所述第一节点。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,在所述阈值电压获取阶段,所述第一扫描信号、所述第二扫描信号及所述控制信号为低电位,所述重置信号为高电位,所述复位信号通过所述第四晶体管对所述电容进行充电,直至所述第一晶体管的栅极与源极之间的压差等于所述第一晶体管的阈值电压时截止。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,在所述数据写入阶段,所述第一扫描信号为高电位,所述第二扫描信号和所述重置信号为低电位,所述数据信号通过所述第二晶体管传输至所述电容的第一端,所述第二节点的电位根据所述电容的耦合作用跳变为相应电位。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,在所述数据写入阶段,所述控制信号由低电位转换为高电位,所述电源电压通过所述发光器件的阳极传输至所述发光器件的阴极,所述发光器件发光。
在本申请提供的像素驱动电路中,流经所述发光器件的电流与所述第一晶体管的阈值电压无关。
相应地,本申请还提供一种显示面板,该显示面板包括以上所述的像素驱动电路。
本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路及显示面板,采用5T1C结构的像素驱动电路对每一像素中的驱动晶体管的阈值电压进行有效补偿,该像素驱动电路能够有效降低显示面板在提取阈值电压时的漏电功耗,进而提高像素驱动电路的补偿精度。

本申请所有实施例中采用的晶体管可以为薄膜晶体管或场效应管或其他特性相同的器件,由于这里采用的晶体管的源极、漏极是对称的,所以其源极、漏极是可以互换的。在本申请实施例中,为区分晶体管除栅极之外的两极,将其中一极称为源极,另一极称为漏极。按附图中的形态规定开关晶体管的中间端为栅极、信号输入端为源极、输出端为漏极。此外本申请实施例所采用的晶体管可以包括P型晶体管和/或N型晶体管两种,其中,P型晶体管在栅极为低电平时导通,在栅极为高电平时截止,N型晶体管为在栅极为高电平时导通,在栅极为低电平时截止。
请参阅图1,图1为本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路的结构示意图。如图1所示,本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路包括:第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4、第五晶体管T5、电容C以及发光器件D。该发光器件D可以为有机发光二极管。也即,本申请实施例采用5T1C结构的像素驱动电路对每一像素中的驱动晶体管的阈值电压Vth进行有效补偿,通过设置第五薄膜晶体管T5,能够有效降低显示面板在提取阈值电压时的漏电功耗,进而提高像素驱动电路的补偿精度。其中,该像素驱动电路中的第一晶体管T1为驱动晶体管。
其中,第一晶体管T1的栅极电性连接于第一节点G。第一晶体管T1的源极电性连接于第二节点S。第一晶体管T1的漏极接入电源电压VDD。第二晶体管T2的栅极接入第一扫描信号Scan。第二晶体管T2的源极接入数据信号Date。第二晶体管T2的漏极电性连接于第一节点G。第三晶体管T3的栅极接入第二扫描信号Xscan。第三晶体管T3的源极接入参考信号Ref。第三晶体管T3的漏极电性连接于第二节点S。第四晶体管T4的栅极接入重置信号Reset。第四晶体管T4的源极接入复位信号Vi。第四晶体管T4的漏极电性连接于第一节点G。第五晶体管T5的栅极接入控制信号EM。第五晶体管T5的源极电性连接于第二节点S。第五晶体管T5的漏极电性连接于发光器件D的阳极。电容C的第一端A电性连接于第一节点G。电容C的第二端B电性连接于第二节点S。发光器件D的阳极电性连接于第五晶体管T5的漏极。发光器件D的阴极接地。
在一些实施例中,第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4以及第五晶体管T5均为低温多晶硅薄膜晶体管、氧化物半导体薄膜晶体管或非晶硅薄膜晶体管。本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路中的晶体管均为同一种类型的晶体管,从而避免不同类型的晶体管之间的差异性对像素驱动电路造成的影响。
请参阅图2,图2为本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路的时序图。如图2所示,第一扫描信号Scan、第二扫描信号Xscan、重置信号Reset以及控制信号EM相组合先后对应像素驱动电路的不同阶段。
具体的,本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路包括第一复位阶段t1,在该阶段对第二节点S的电位进行复位;第二复位阶段t2,在该阶段对第一节点G的电位进行复位;阈值电压提取阶段t3,在该阶段提取第一晶体管T1的阈值电压并存储至电容C上;数据写入阶段t4,在该阶段将数据信号Date写入电容C的第一端A,并根据电容C的耦合作用,电容C的第二端B的电位跳变至相应电位。
在一些实施例中,在第一复位阶段t1,第二扫描信号Xscan为高电位,控制信号EM为高电位,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,重置信号Reset为低电位。
在一些实施例中,在第二复位阶段t2,第二扫描信号Xscan为高电位,重置信号Reset为高电位,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,控制信号EM为低电位。
在一些实施例中,在阈值电压获取阶段t3,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,第二扫描信号Xscan为低电位,控制信号EM为低电位,重置信号Reset为高电位。复位信号Vi通过第四晶体管T4对电容C进行充电,直至第一晶体管T1的栅极与源极之间的压差Vgs等于第一晶体管T1的阈值电压Vth时截止。
在一些实施例中,在数据写入阶段t4,第一扫描信号Scan为高电位,第二扫描信号Xscan为低电位,重置信号Reset为低电位。需要说明的是,在数据写入阶段,控制信号EM由低电位转换为高电位。
请参阅图3,图3为本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路在图2所示的驱动时序下的第一复位阶段t1的通路示意图。首先,结合图2、图3所示,在第一复位阶段t1,第二扫描信号Xscan为高电位,控制信号EM为高电位,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,重置信号Reset为低电位。此时,第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2以及第四晶体管T4关闭,第三晶体管T3和第五晶体管T5打开。
具体的,由于第二扫描信号Xscan为高电位,使得第三晶体管T3打开,参考信号Ref通过第三晶体管T3传输至第二节点S。由于参考信号Ref为低电位,第二节点S的电位被拉至低电位,发光器件D关闭,不启亮。
由于控制信号EM为高电位,使得第五晶体管T5打开,需要说明的是,在第一复位阶段,控制信号EM为高电位,是延续上一阶段的信号。另外,由于第一扫描信号Scan和重置信号Reset均为低电位均,使得第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2以及第四晶体管T4关闭。
接着,请参阅图4,图4为申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路在图2所示的驱动时序下的第二复位阶段t2的通路示意图。结合图2、图4所示,在第二复位阶段t2,第二扫描信号Xscan为高电位,重置信号Reset为高电位,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,控制信号EM为低电位。此时,第一晶体管T1、第三晶体管T3及第四晶体管T4打开,第二晶体管T2和第五晶体管T5关闭。
具体的,由于重置信号Reset为高电位,使得第四晶体管T4打开,复位信号Vi通过第四晶体管T4传输至第一节点G。进一步的,由于第一节点G写入的复位信号Vi为高电位,使得第一晶体管T1打开,会有电流从VDD流进S点。另外,由于第一扫描信号Scan和控制信号EM均为低电位,使得第二晶体管T2和第五晶体管T5关闭。
随后,请参阅图5,图5为本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路在图2所示的驱动时序下的阈值电压获取阶段t3的通路示意图。结合图2、图5所示,在阈值电压获取阶段t3,第一扫描信号Scan为低电位,第二扫描信号Xscan为低电位,控制信号EM为低电位,重置信号Reset为高电位。此时,第一晶体管T1和第四晶体管T4打开,第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3和第五晶体管T5关闭。
具体的,由于重置信号Reset为高电位,使得第四晶体管T4打开,复位信号Vi通过所述第四晶体管传输至第一节点G。进一步的,由于第一节点G写入的复位信号Vi为高电位,使得第一晶体管T1打开,会有电流从VDD流进第二节点S。此时,由于第一扫描信号Scan、第二扫描信号Xscan和控制信号EM均为低电位,使得第三晶体管T3和第五晶体管T5均处于关闭状态,因此,电流无法从第二节点S流出,第二节点S的电位会逐步抬升。第二节点S的电位抬升后,第一晶体管T1的栅源电压Vgs会逐步降低,当第一晶体管T1的栅源电压Vgs降低至第一晶体管T1的阈值电压Vth时,第一晶体管T1就会关闭。因此,理论上,当第二节点S的电位最大抬升至Vi-vth时,第一晶体管T1关闭。此时,第一晶体管T1的阈值电压Vth被成功探测并存储在第一晶体管T1的栅极。
需要说明的是,在阈值电压获取阶段t3,由于控制信号EM为低电位,使得第五晶体管T5关闭,因此即便发光器件D的开启电压很低,也不会造成第二节点S的电压从发光器件D漏掉,有效降低了显示面板的漏电功率,进而能够提高像素驱动电路的补偿精度。
具体的,本申请实施例给出了当驱动晶体管的阈值电压Vth负偏-1V时,像素驱动电路的补偿精度随阈值电压Vth提取时间的变化,如图6所示。可以看出当驱动晶体管的阈值电压Vth的提取时间从10微秒增长至90微秒后,补偿精度偏差值一直保持在0.1%,有效地提高了像素驱动电路的补偿精度。其中,补偿偏差值定义为(Ioled补偿后-Ioled补偿前)/Ioled补偿前。
最后,请参阅图7,图7为本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路在图2所示的驱动时序下的数据写入阶段t4的第一通路示意图。结合图2、图6所示,在数据写入阶段t4的初始阶段,第一扫描信号Scan为高电位,第二扫描信号Xscan为低电位,重置信号Reset为低电位,控制信号EM为低电位。此时,第一晶体管T1和第二晶体管T2打开,第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4和第五晶体管T5关闭。
具体的,由于第一扫描信号Scan为高电位,使得第二晶体管T2打开,数据信号Data通过第二晶体管T2写入电容C的第一端A。由于数据信号Data为高电位,使得第一晶体管T1打开。
此外,数据写入阶段t4的作用是使发光器件D发光,在第一扫描信号Scan升为高电位,数据信号Date写入第一节点G后,控制信号EM由低电位转换为高电位,使得第五晶体管T5打开,电流通过发光器件D的阳极传输至发光器件D的阴极,发光器件D发光。此时,本申请实施例提供的像素驱动电路在图2所示的驱动时序下的数据写入阶段t4的第二通路示意图如图8所示。
可以理解的是,由于晶体管存在寄生电容,第一扫描信号Scan与控制信号EM若同时由低电位切换为高电位,会造成第一节点G和第二节点S的电位同时损失,进而使第一晶体管T1的栅源压差Vgs产生较大的变化。而第一扫描信号Scan比控制信号EM先升为高电位,此时第二节点S的电位较大,控制信号EM由低电位转换为高电位对第二节点S的电位影响就相对较小。
此外,当第一扫描信号Scan由低电位转换为高电位,使得第二晶体管T2打开,数据信号Data通过第二晶体管T2写入电容C的第一端A时,第一薄膜晶体管T1的栅源压差Vgs=Vg-Vs=Vdata-(Vi-vth),Vgs-Vth=Vdata-Vi。由于第一晶体管T1工作在饱和区,流经发光器件D的电流I=k(Vgs-Vth)2=k(Vdata-Vi)2。即,流经发光器件D的电流与第一晶体管T1的阈值电压Vth无关,从而保证流经发光器件D的电流不变,即使阈值电压Vth发生飘移,也不影响发光器件D的正常发光。
本申请实施例还提供一种显示面板,其包括以上所述的像素驱动电路,具体可参照以上对该像素驱动电路的描述,在此不做赘述。
本申请实施例提供的显示面板,采用5T1C结构的像素驱动电路对每一像素中的驱动晶体管的阈值电压进行有效补偿,该像素驱动电路的补偿结构较为简单,能够有效降低显示面板在提取阈值电压时的漏电功耗,进而提高像素驱动电路的补偿精度。
以上对本申请实施例进行了详细介绍,本文中应用了具体个例对本申请的原理及实施方式进行了阐述,以上实施例的说明只是用于帮助理解本申请的方法及其核心思想;同时,对于本领域的一般技术人员,依据本申请的思想,在具体实施方式及应用范围上均会有改变之处,综上所述,本说明书内容不应理解为对本申请的限制。
Claims (10)
1.一种像素驱动电路,其特征在于,包括第一晶体管、第二晶体管、第三晶体管、第四晶体管、第五晶体管、电容以及发光器件;
所述第一晶体管的栅极电性连接于第一节点,所述第一晶体管的源极电性连接于第二节点,所述第一晶体管的漏极接入电源电压;
所述第二晶体管的栅极接入第一扫描信号,所述第二晶体管的源极接入数据信号,所述第二晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第一节点;
所述第三晶体管的栅极接入第二扫描信号,所述第三晶体管的源极接入参考信号,所述第三晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第二节点;
所述第四晶体管的栅极接入重置信号,所述第四晶体管的源极接入复位信号,所述第四晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述第一节点;
所述第五晶体管的栅极接入控制信号,所述第五晶体管的源极电性连接于所述第二节点,所述第五晶体管的漏极电性连接于所述发光器件的阳极;
所述电容的第一端电性连接于所述第一节点,所述电容的第二端电性连接于所述第二节点;
所述发光器件的阳极电性连接于所述第五晶体管的漏极,所述发光器件的阴极接地。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述第一晶体管、所述第二晶体管、所述第三晶体管、所述第四晶体管以及所述第五晶体管均为同种类型的晶体管。
3.根据权利要求2所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述像素驱动电路的驱动时序包括:
第一复位阶段,对所述第二节点的电位进行复位;
第二复位阶段,对所述第一节点的电位进行复位;
阈值电压提取阶段,提取所述第一晶体管的阈值电压并存储至所述电容上;
数据写入阶段,将所述数据信号写入所述电容的第一端,并根据所述电容的耦合作用,所述电容的第二端的电位跳变至相应电位。
4.根据权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,在所述第一阶段,所述第二扫描信号和所述控制信号为高电位,所述第一扫描信号及所述重置信号为低电位,所述参考信号通过所述第三晶体管传输至所述第二节点。
5.根据权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,在所述第二复位阶段,所述第二扫描信号和所述重置信号为高电位,所述第一扫描信号和所述控制信号为低电位,所述复位信号通过所述第四晶体管传输至所述第一节点。
6.根据权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,在所述阈值电压获取阶段,所述第一扫描信号、所述第二扫描信号及所述控制信号为低电位,所述重置信号为高电位,所述复位信号通过所述第四晶体管对所述电容进行充电,直至所述第一晶体管的栅极与源极之间的压差等于所述第一晶体管的阈值电压时截止。
7.根据权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,在所述数据写入阶段,所述第一扫描信号为高电位,所述第二扫描信号和所述重置信号为低电位,所述数据信号通过所述第二晶体管传输至所述电容的第一端,所述第二节点的电位根据所述电容的耦合作用跳变为相应电位。
8.根据权利要求7所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,在所述数据写入阶段,所述控制信号由低电位转换为高电位,所述电源电压通过所述发光器件的阳极传输至所述发光器件的阴极,所述发光器件发光。
9.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,流经所述发光器件的电流与所述第一晶体管的阈值电压无关。
10.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括权利要求1至9任一项所述的像素驱动电路。
