Description
アルカリ金属塩(d1)、アルカリ土類金属塩(d2)及び第4級アンモニウム塩(d3)からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の水溶性無機系電解質(D)
を含み、
(A)成分100重量部に対して、(B)成分〜(D)成分の合計含有量が0.1〜150重量部であり、かつ(B)成分〜(D)成分の含有比率が、{(B)+(C)}/(D)=30/70〜99/1(固形分重量比)である混合物を湿紙表面へスプレーした後に抄き合わせることを特徴とする、抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
各測定は以下の方法により行った。
以下の測定条件にて、(B)成分の重量平均分子量を測定した。
GPC本体:東ソー(株)製
カラム:東ソー(株)製ガードカラムPWXL1本及びGMPWXL2本(温度40℃)
溶離液:N/2酢酸緩衝液(N/2酢酸(和光純薬工業(株)製)+N/2酢酸ナトリウム(キシダ化学(株)製)水溶液、pH約4.2)
流速:0.8ml/分
検出器:
RALLS法;ビスコテック社製TDA MODEL301を使用した。濃度検出器、90°光散乱検出器及び粘度検出器の温度を40℃に調整し、それぞれの検出器より得られた測定値から重量平均分子量を算出した。
撹拌機、温度計、還流冷却管、窒素ガス導入管及び2つの滴下ロートを備えた反応装置に、イオン交換水569部を入れ、窒素ガスを通じて反応系内の酸素を除去した後、90℃まで加熱した。一方の滴下ロートにアクリルアミド261部、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリレート34.2部、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリレ−トのベンジルクロライド4級化物の60%水溶液103.0部、イタコン酸28.3部、ジメチルアクリルアミド0.9部、メタアリルスルホン酸ナトリウム2.1部及びイオン交換水707.5部を仕込み、62.5%硫酸によりpHを3に調整した。また、他方の滴下ロートに過硫酸アンモニウム0.60部とイオン交換水180部を入れた。次に、両方の滴下ロートより系内にモノマー及び触媒を約3時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、過硫酸アンモニウム0.4部とイオン交換水10部を入れ1時間保温し、イオン交換水78.7部を投入し、濃度20.0%、粘度(25℃)が8,000mPa・s、及び重量平均分子量200万の(B−1)成分を得た。モノマー組成及び得られた(B−1)成分の物性を表1に示す(以下同様)。
モノマー組成及び使用量を表1に示すように変えて合成し、(B−2)〜(B−15)成分を得た。

コーン澱粉(商品名『コーンスターチ』、王子コーンスターチ(株)製)100部、(B−1)成分35.2部(固形分重量7.04部)、(C)成分として、硫酸アルミニウム1.76部及び(D)成分として、硫酸ナトリウム2.2部を混合した後、脱イオン水で固形分重量0.6%となるように希釈し、混合物(E−1)を調製した。
実施例1において、(A)成分〜(D)成分の種類あるいは使用量を表2に示すように変更し、混合物(E−2)〜(E−45)を調製した。
ガラス瓶(柏洋硝子(株)製、M−140)に、各分散液100gを入れ、室温で1時間沈降させた。その後、卓上振とう器(装置名「NX−10N」、(株)日伸理化製)を用いて前記の液を10分間、振とうさせて再分散させた後、分散液中の沈殿物の有無を目視で確認した。評価基準を以下に示す。

キャップスプレー装置(WAGNER製、HV‐380)を用いて、3.0kg/cm2のスプレー圧で各分散液をスプレーし、噴霧状態を目視で確認した。さらに同様の方法で1分間、分散液をスプレーし、スプレーノズルからの液ダレも観察した。なお、(E−37)の分散液は粘性が高く、スプレーできなかった。
段ボール古紙をナイアガラ式ビーターにて叩解し、カナディアン・スタンダード・フリーネス(C.S.F.)400mlに調整したパルプを0.5%まで希釈し、手抄紙試験機により水分量86%の湿紙Aと水分量96%の湿紙B(乾燥坪量60g/m2)を調製した。湿紙Aの片面に、各分散液を、パルプ固形分重量に対して分散液を固形分重量で0.6%となるようにキャップスプレー装置(WAGNER製、HV‐380)を用いてスプレーした後、湿紙Aと湿紙Bのスプレー面を重ね、湿紙Bを上面に150mmHgで1分間吸引脱水し、回転型乾燥機で105℃において4分間乾燥して抄き合わせ紙を得た。抄き合わせ紙は温度23℃、湿度50%の条件下で24時間調湿した。
J−TAPPI紙パルプ試験方法No.19−1に従って、抄き合わせ紙の層間接着強度(T字剥離強度(N/m))を測定した。結果を表2に示す(以下同様)。

※尿素リン酸エステル澱粉・・・商品名『王子エースP340』、王子コーンスターチ(株)製
※各成分の使用量(重量部)については固形分重量で示す。
Claims (11)
- 未糊化澱粉類(A)、イオン性アクリルアミド系共重合体(B)、水溶性アルミニウム化合物(C)、並びに
アルカリ金属塩(d1)、アルカリ土類金属塩(d2)及び第4級アンモニウム塩(d3)からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の水溶性無機系電解質(D)
を含み、
(A)成分100重量部に対して、(B)成分〜(D)成分の合計含有量が0.1〜150重量部であり、かつ(B)成分〜(D)成分の含有比率が、{(B)+(C)}/(D)=30/70〜99/1(固形分重量比)である混合物を湿紙表面へスプレーした後に抄き合わせることを特徴とする、抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。 - (C)成分が、硫酸アルミニウム、塩化アルミニウム、塩基性硫酸アルミニウム、塩基性塩化アルミニウム、硫酸硅酸アルミニウム、ポリ塩化アルミニウム及びポリ水酸化アルミニウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1の抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (d1)成分が、硫酸ナトリウム、塩化ナトリウム、リン酸三ナトリウム、リン酸水素二ナトリウム及びリン酸二水素ナトリウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1又は2の抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (d2)成分が、硫酸マグネシウム及び/又は塩化カルシウムを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (d3)成分が、硫酸アンモニウムを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (B)成分の構成成分が、(メタ)アクリルアミド(b1)、並びにカチオン性単量体(b2)及び/又はアニオン性単量体(b3)を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (b1)成分が62〜98.9モル%、(b2)成分が0.5〜20モル%及び(b3)成分が0.5〜18モル%ある、請求項6の抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (B)成分の構成成分が、さらに(b1)成分〜(b3)成分以外の単量体(b4)を含む請求項6又は7の抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (b4)成分が、N−置換アミド基を有する架橋性ビニルモノマー及び/又は(メタ)アリルスルホン酸塩を含む、請求項6〜8のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (B)成分の重量平均分子量が800,000〜5,000,000である請求項1〜9のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
- (B)成分及び(C)成分の含有比率が、(B)/(C)=30/70〜99/1(固形分重量比)である請求項1〜10のいずれかの抄き合わせ紙の製造方法。
