Abstract
Description
図1は、オンデマンドサービスと共に用いられるインジケータ装置を制御するための構成情報を供給するための例示的なシステムを示す。一例によれば、例えば図1のシステム100等の個人化システムは、ユーザが、サービス提供者によって所持されているインジケータ装置上において照明または表示されものを制御するのを可能にする機構を提供し得る。例えば、インジケータ装置は、車両がユーザを乗車させるためにユーザに近づいたときに、インジケータ装置がユーザによって指定された色(および/または照明シーケンス)で照明することによってユーザが乗るべき車両をユーザに示し得るように、車両に固定されたライティング装置またはディスプレイ装置であり得る。

Claims (20)
- コンピュータシステムの1以上の処理によって行われる、インジケータ装置を構成する方法であって、
(i)ユーザよって操作されるユーザ装置からの輸送要求を受信すること、および(ii)車両、運転手装置、およびインジケータ装置と関連づけられた複数の運転手の中から、輸送サービスを提供する運転手を選択することによって、前記ユーザに対して前記輸送サービスを手配する工程と、
前記ユーザが、該ユーザのアカウントにおいて、インジケータ装置に対する、前記ユーザによって構成可能な出力構成を指定していることを決定する工程と、
前記ユーザが前記出力構成を指定しているという決定に応答して、前記コンピュータシステムによってアクセス可能なメモリリソースから、前記ユーザによって指定された前記出力構成に対応するデータを識別する工程と、
前記ユーザのために前記運転手が選択された際に、前記運転手の前記インジケータ装置がどのように動作するかを構成するために、1以上のネットワークを介して、前記選択された運転手と関連づけられた前記運転手装置または前記インジケータ装置の少なくとも一方に、前記データを送信する工程と、
