Abstract
【解決手段】照明用光源は、LEDチップからの光と複数の蛍光体が発する光が混ざることにより白色光を発する。白色光の発光スペクトルは、波長が430nm以上460nm以下の範囲にピークを有する。発光スペクトルにおいては、ピークにおける光強度に対する波長510nmにおける光強度の比率が0.45以上であり、ピークにおける光強度に対する波長580nmにおける光強度の比率が0.60以上である。また、発光スペクトルにおいては、波長580nmにおける光強度に対する波長650nmにおける光強度の比率が0.4以下である。

Description
[照明用光源の構成]
まず、実施の形態1に係る照明用光源の構成について図面を用いて説明する。図1は、実施の形態1に係る照明用光源の外観斜視図である。図2は、実施の形態1に係る照明用光源の平面図である。図3は、実施の形態1に係る照明用光源の内部構造を示す平面図である。図4は、図2のIV−IV線における模式断面図である。なお、上記の図3は、図2において封止部材13及びダム材15を取り除き、LEDチップ12の配列及び配線パターンなどの内部の構造を示した平面図である。また、図4は、模式断面図であるため、LEDチップ12の個数など、図2と一致しない部分がある。
図5は、実施例1に係る照明用光源10の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、図5の縦軸は、発光スペクトルのうち波長450nmの光の強度を1.0として正規化されている。
図6は、実施例2に係る照明用光源10の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、図6の縦軸は、発光スペクトルのうち波長450nmの光の強度を1.0として正規化されている。
図7は、実施例3に係る照明用光源10の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、図7の縦軸は、発光スペクトルのうち波長450nmの光の強度を1.0として正規化されている。
図8は、比較例1に係る照明用光源の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、比較例1に係る照明用光源は、特許文献1に記載の照明装置に用いられる照明用光源と同様の構成である。
図9は、比較例2に係る照明用光源の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、図9の縦軸は、発光スペクトルのうち波長450nmの光の強度を1.0として正規化されている。
図10は、比較例3に係る照明用光源の発光スペクトルを示す図である。なお、図10の縦軸は、発光スペクトルのうち波長450nmの光の強度を1.0として正規化されている。
上記実施例1〜3に係る照明用光源10により得られる効果について、上記比較例1〜3と比較しながら説明する。図11は、実施例1〜3に係る照明用光源10と、比較例1〜3に係る照明用光源の特性の比較表である。
実施の形態1に係る照明用光源10は、屋外用照明装置または車両用前照灯に使用される照明用光源10であって、LEDチップ12と、LEDチップ12からの光で励起され、LEDチップ12からの光と異なる波長の光を発する複数の蛍光体とを備える。照明用光源10は、LEDチップ12からの光と複数の蛍光体が発する光が混ざることにより白色光を発する。白色光の発光スペクトルは、波長が430nm以上460nm以下の範囲にピークを有する。発光スペクトルにおいては、ピークにおける光強度に対する波長510nmにおける光強度の比率が0.45以上であり、ピークにおける光強度に対する波長580nmにおける光強度の比率が0.60以上であり、波長580nmにおける光強度に対する波長650nmにおける光強度の比率が0.4以下である。白色光の相関色温度は、4500K以上7000K以下であり、白色光の平均演色評価数Raは、70以上である。
実施の形態2では、実施の形態1に係る照明用光源を備える照明装置について説明する。図12は、実施の形態2に係る照明装置の断面図である。図13は、実施の形態2に係る照明装置及びその周辺部材の外観斜視図である。
以上、実施の形態に係る照明用光源及び照明装置について説明したが、本発明は、上記実施の形態に限定されるものではない。

Claims (6)
- 屋外用照明装置または車両用前照灯に使用される照明用光源であって、
発光素子と、
前記発光素子からの光で励起され、前記発光素子からの光と異なる波長の光を発する複数の蛍光体とを備え、
前記照明用光源は、前記発光素子からの光と前記複数の蛍光体が発する光が混ざることにより白色光を発し、
前記白色光の発光スペクトルは、波長が430nm以上460nm以下の範囲にピークを有し、
前記発光スペクトルにおいては、
前記ピークにおける光強度に対する波長510nmにおける光強度の比率が0.45以上であり、
前記ピークにおける光強度に対する波長580nmにおける光強度の比率が0.60以上であり、
波長580nmにおける光強度に対する波長650nmにおける光強度の比率が0.4以下であり、
前記白色光の相関色温度は、4500K以上7000K以下であり、
前記白色光の平均演色評価数Raは、70以上である

請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の照明用光源。 - 前記白色光の、暗所視輝度及び明所視輝度の比率であるS/P比は、2.0以上である
請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の照明用光源。 - 屋外用または車両用前消灯用の照明装置であって、
請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の照明用光源と、
前記照明用光源に、当該照明用光源を点灯させるための電力を供給する点灯装置とを備える
