Abstract
Description
本出願は、2013年10月15日に出願された、米国仮特許出願第61/891,182号の利益を主張し、その全体が本明細書に参照によって組み込まれる。
実施例(「Ex.」)1〜2となる、表1に示す構成成分を含む溶剤系接着剤配合物を調製する。比較実施例(「CEx.」)A〜Fもまた、表1に示すように調製する。構成成分の特性評価は以下の通りである。
・BESTER(商標)86は、25℃で固体であり、<80℃の融点を有する結晶性ポリエステルである。それは、Rohm and Haas Italiaから入手可能である。
・MOR−FREE(商標)C79は、ヒドロキシル含有構成成分であり、ヒマシ油(エステルであるが、ポリエステルではない)を含み、結晶性ポリエステルを含まない材料の混和物である。それは、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な無溶剤2構成成分ポリウレタン接着剤システムの一部分である。
・ADCOTE(商標)301A+350Aは、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な溶剤系2構成成分ポリウレタン接着剤システムである。このヒドロキシル含有構成成分はポリエーテルに基づく。
・MOR−FREE(商標)200Cは、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な無溶剤または溶剤系2構成成分ポリウレタン接着剤の一部分として使用され得るHDI系イソシアヌレートである。
・MOR−FREE(商標)698Aは、非結晶性ポリエステルを含有するMDI系プレポリマーである。それは、The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な無溶剤2構成成分ポリウレタン接着剤システムの一部分である。
・MODAFLOW RESIN(商標)は、Cytec Industriesから入手可能なアクリルポリマー(>99.0%)を含有する流動調整剤である。
ASTM F392/F392Mに類似したプロトコル下で、様々な試料の屈曲亀裂試験を実行する。結果を表3に示す。
Claims (10)
- 積層体を作製する方法であって、
(a)
(i)単一種のポリイソシアネート(A)をA構成成分として提供することと、
(ii)末端ヒドロキシル基及び2〜10個の炭素原子を有する単一種の直鎖脂肪族ジオールと、単一種の直鎖ジカルボン酸とから形成される、ヒドロキシル末端ポリエステル(B)であって、300〜5000の数平均分子量を有し、25℃で固体であり、80℃以下の融点を有し、かつ担体溶剤中に実質的に混和性の固体として、前記ヒドロキシル末端ポリエステル(B)が、(A)及び前記担体溶剤の前記重量に基づいて、少なくとも20重量パーセントの量で組み込まれる、ヒドロキシル末端ポリエステル(B)もまた提供して、B構成成分を形成することと、によって、接着剤混合物を調製することと、
(b)(i)1〜2のNCO/OH比で、前記A構成成分及び前記B構成成分を混合して、接着剤混合物(I)を形成すること、または(ii)2〜8のNCO/OH比で、前記A構成成分のすべてもしくは一部分と、前記B構成成分の一部分とを反応させて、プレポリマー(C)を形成し、その後前記B構成成分の残りの部分及び前記A構成成分のあらゆる残りの部分を、前記プレポリマー(C)と混合して、1〜2のNCO/OH比を有する接着剤混合物(II)を形成すること、のいずれかと、
(c)前記接着剤混合物(I)及び(II)のうちの少なくとも1つの層を第1のポリマーフィルムに適用することであって、前記接着剤混合物(I)または(II)が、前記層を前記第1のポリマーフィルムに適用する少し前に調製されている、適用することと、
(d)第2のポリマーフィルムを前記層に対して近位に、かつ前記第1のポリマーフィルムに対して遠位に配置して、前記層が前記第1のポリマーフィルムと前記第2のポリマーフィルムとの間にあるようにすることと、
(e)前記接着剤混合物(I)または(II)を50℃以上の温度で完全に反応させ、その後硬化の完了前に結晶性ポリエステルドメインが形成されるような条件下で硬化させることと、を含み、
その結果、積層体が形成される、前記方法。 - 前記固体が、前記A構成成分及び前記B構成成分を組み合わせた重量に基づいて、20パーセント〜80パーセントの量で存在する、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシル末端ポリエステルが、C3−C6ジオールと、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択されるジカルボン酸とから形成される、請求項1または2に記載の前記方法。
- 前記ポリイソシアネートが、ポリマーヘキサメチレンジイオシアネート(HDI三量体イソシアヌレート)、メチレンジフェニルジイソシアネート、ジシクロヘキシルメタン4,4′−ジイソシアネート、及びトルエンジイソシアネートから選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 前記担体溶剤が、酢酸エチル、メチルエチルケトン、ジオキソラン、アセトン、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 前記A構成成分及び前記B構成成分をともに混合する前に、アクリレート粘度調整剤が前記B構成成分中に含まれる、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 前記反応及び硬化の前記条件が、30℃未満の温度及び少なくとも7日間の時間を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 前記第1のポリマーフィルム及び前記第2のポリマーフィルムが、低密度ポリエチレン、配向ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、セロハン、及びこれらの組み合わせの、金属化フィルム、非金属化フィルム、酸化アルミニウムコーティングフィルム、及び酸化シリコンコーティングフィルムから独立して選択される、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 前記積層体が、ASTM F392/F392M屈曲亀裂試験下で、屈曲亀裂前の比率の少なくとも60パーセントである屈曲亀裂後酸素透過率を示す、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の前記方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の前記方法によって生成される、前記積層体。
