Description
「エポキシ樹脂組成物、プリプレグ、繊維強化複合材料、および繊維強化複合材料の製造方法」(発明者:Jonathan C. Hughes、Hiroaki Sakata;代理人整理番号089377−0419726)と題する2013年1月7日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/749,703号、および「エポキシ樹脂組成物、プリプレグ、繊維強化複合材料、および繊維強化複合材料の製造方法」(発明者:Jonathan C. HughesおよびHiroaki Sakata、代理人整理番号089377−0428594)と題する2013年12月3日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/911,386号号の開示は、あらゆる目的のためにその全体が参照により本明細書に援用されるものとする。
プリプレグ積層成形法では、機械的強度や剛性に優れたFRP材料を調製できる。プリプレグ積層成形法とは、強化繊維基材に熱硬化性樹脂組成物を含浸させてなる1種以上のプリプレグを成形して積層した後、この成形して積層したプリプレグを加熱加圧することによって樹脂を硬化させて繊維強化プラスチック材料を得る方法である。
(1)(a)テトラグリシジルアミン、(b)第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂、(c)ジシアンジアミドおよび(d)芳香族ウレアを含む樹脂組成物であって、テトラグリシジルアミンが、110g/eq〜140g/eqのエポキシド当量(EEW)を有し、樹脂組成物中の全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たりの量が30〜60重量部であり、エポキシ樹脂硬化物が、143℃で23分間加熱後のTgが160℃以上であり、177℃で1分間以上硬化させた際に160℃超のTgを維持する樹脂組成物:
(2)(1)に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ:
(3)(2)に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料に関する。
(a)テトラグリシジルアミン;
(b)第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂;
(c)ジシアンジアミド;
(d)芳香族ウレア。
ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂の市販品としては、「エピクロン(登録商標)」EXA−154(DIC(株)製)等が挙げられる。

かかるエポキシ樹脂としては、ジグリシジルアミン、トリグリシジルアミン、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、クレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、レゾルシノール型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル骨格を有するエポキシ樹脂、イソシアネート変性エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂、脂肪族エポキシ樹脂、これらのハロゲン置換体、アルキノール置換体、水添品等が挙げられる。また、これらのエポキシ樹脂のうち1種以上のエポキシ樹脂を用いてもよい。

条件1:エポキシ樹脂組成物を50℃/分の速度で室温から143℃まで加熱した後、143℃で3分間保持した。
条件2:エポキシ樹脂組成物を50℃/分の速度で室温から163℃まで加熱した後、163℃で2分間保持した。
条件3:エポキシ樹脂組成物を50℃/分の速度で室温から177℃まで加熱した後、177℃で2分間保持した。
(3)エポキシ樹脂硬化物の硬化度

実施例1〜15では良好な結果が得られた。
Claims (20)
- (a)テトラグリシジルアミンと、(b)第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂と、(c)ジシアンジアミドおよび(d)芳香族ウレアを含む樹脂組成物であって、テトラグリシジルアミンが、110g/eq〜140g/eqのEEWを有し、樹脂組成物中の全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たりの量が30〜60重量部であり、樹脂組成物が、143℃で3分間硬化させた際に160℃以上のTgを有し、177℃で1分間以上硬化させた際に160℃超のTgを維持する樹脂組成物。
- 第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂のEEWが500〜1500g/eqであり、第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂の量が全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たり10〜25重量部である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- EEWが150〜200g/eqの第2のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂のEEWが500〜1000g/eqであり、第1のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂の量が全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たり10〜40重量部である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 硬化後の樹脂組成物の、最小G”値を温度範囲55℃〜140℃で測定した際の最大G”値と最小G”値との差が15MPa以下である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 芳香族ウレアの量が全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たり0.5〜7重量部の範囲である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- ジシアンジアミドの量が全エポキシ樹脂100重量部当たり3〜7重量部の範囲である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項2に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項3に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項4に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項5に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項6に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項7に記載の樹脂組成物を含むプリプレグ。
- 請求項8に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
- 請求項9に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
- 請求項10に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
- 請求項11に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
- 請求項12に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
- 請求項13に記載のプリプレグを含むクラスAの表面を有する繊維強化プラスチック材料であって、プリプレグが硬化している繊維強化プラスチック材料。
