本出願は、2012年11月23日に出願された欧州特許出願第12194121.5号の優先権を主張し、この出願の開示内容はその全体を参照することにより本明細書に援用される。
本開示は、少なくとも1つの感圧接着剤層と、高分子発泡体層とを含む多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリに関するものである。また、本開示はそのような多層PSAアセンブリを製造する方法を目的とするものである。
1つの態様によれば、本開示は、少なくとも1つの感圧接着剤層と、高分子発泡体層とを含む多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリであって、上記感圧接着剤層が、
(a)第1モノマーとしての2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート、及び、場合により、
(b)エチレン性不飽和基を有する第2モノマーを含有する重合性材料の反応生成物を含む感圧接着剤組成物を含む、多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリに関する。
第1の態様によれば、本開示は、少なくとも1つの感圧接着剤層と、高分子発泡体層とを含む多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリであって、上記感圧接着剤層が、
(a)第1モノマーとしての2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート、及び、場合により、
(b)エチレン性不飽和基を有する第2モノマーを含有する重合性材料の反応生成物を含む感圧接着剤組成物を含む、多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリに関する。

300mm/分における90°剥離試験(試験方法、Finat No.2に従う):
本発明による、また10mmの幅及び>175mmの長さを有する多層感圧接着剤フィルムストリップを、サンプル材料から機械方向に切断する。
静的剪断は、接着剤の貼着性又は内的強度の測定である。それは、接着剤シート材料の基準面積を、一定のストレス、標準負荷下でステンレス鋼試験パネルから引っ張るために要する時間単位(分)で測定される。
接着剤試験は、以下の自動車用クリアコートパネル上で実施する。
BASF Coatingsから市販されているUreGlossクリアコートコーティングパネル
PPG Industriesから市販されているCeramiClear5コーティングパネル
DuPont coatingsから市販されているVW 2Kクリアコートコーティングパネル
実施例では、以下の原材料を使用する。
2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート(2−PHA;C10−アクリレート;比較用フィルム)は、2−プロピルヘプタノール及びアクリル酸エステルであり、BASF AG,Germanyより入手できる。Tg値:−68℃.2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレートは一定分布を有する2つの異性体の混合物である。2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート:約90%;2−プロペン酸,4−メチル−2−プロピルヘキシルエステル:約10%純度99%超;沸点:160℃,密度:0.84g/cm3,粘性:2mPas。
実施例に使用する異なる感圧接着剤層を、国際公開第2011094385(A1)号に記載される方法により調製する。まずアクリレートとアクリル酸(AA)モノマーとを、光開始剤として0,04ppHのOmnirad BDKを含有する容器中で予備重合して、次に混合物を、約7000mPasの粘度(Brookfield粘度計で測定した際に、T=25℃、スピンドル4,12rpm)を有するコーティング可能なシロップが得られるまで、紫外線照射に曝露する。
液状前駆体発泡体(LPF 1〜3):
発泡体層の液状前駆体(これより後LPF 1〜3と呼ぶ)は、C8アクリレート(IOA、又は2−EHA)及びアクリル酸(10〜12.5重量%)と0.04pphのOmniradを光開始剤として、ガラス容器の中で調製される。UV曝露を開始する前に、混合物に10分間窒素を流し、また窒素を、重合プロセスが空気をシロップに添加することによって停止されるまで常時混合物中へと泡立てる。混合物を常にプロペラ攪拌器(300U/分(300rpm))で攪拌し、3000〜4500Pasの粘度に達すると、反応を停止する(Brookfield粘度計で測定したときに、T=25℃、スピンドル4,12rpm)。追加のOmnirad BDKの残量、HDDA架橋剤、グラスバブルズK15、ヒュームドシリカ(LPF 1)及びLPF 3の場合には、6pphのEurocell 300−hをシロップに追加、溶解/分散するまで混合する。反対側の高分子層のための液状前駆体の正確な処方は以下表2に列記されている。
90°剥離力測定試験をPA6パネル、加えてステンレス鋼パネルにて、72時間の放置時間、毎分300mmの剥離速度で実施する。静的剪断力測定試験を、放置時間24時間、ステンレス鋼パネルで70℃、500gの吊り下げ用重り、及び室温(23℃+/−2℃)、1000gの吊り下げ用重りで実施する。全ての二重層PSAフィルムを、国際公開第2011094385(A1)号に記載される通りの方法を使用して、約1200μmの総厚で製造する。結果を、以下の表5及び6に示す。
第2モノマーの90°剥離力挙動に及ぼす影響を表7に示す。
粘着付与剤が90°剥離力値に与える影響は表9に示されている。
第2モノマー及び/又は粘着付与剤の添加による副作用を除外して、2−PHAとC8アクリレートの効果を調査するため、実施例11から13を行った。これらは第1の感圧接着剤層を作製するために、それぞれ液状前駆体LPS 11〜13を使用した。アクリル酸(AA)の量が多く、前例で使用されたLPF 1(実施例1〜10)よりもグラスバブルズを多く含む液状前駆体LPF 2から得られた反対側の層の上に感圧接着剤層は重ね合わせられている。
自動車のクリアコートUreGloss,Cerami Clear5、及びVW2Kについて、72時間の放置後、剥離速度300mm/分で90°剥離力測定試験を実施する。静的剪断力測定試験を、UreGlossで500gの吊り下げ用重りとともに70℃にて、またVW2Kで500gの吊り下げ用重りとともに90℃にて、24時間の放置時間で実施する。90°剥離結果を、下の表12に示す。実施例14〜19の全てにおいて、UreGloss及びVW2Kでの剪断力は10000+分となり、剪断力の結果を別表には掲載していないが、AA量、又は第2モノマー量から独立して、2−PHAの使用は感圧接着剤層の内部強度を増加するという証拠になる。
Claims (15)
- 少なくとも1つの感圧接着剤層と、高分子発泡体層とを含む多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリであって、
前記感圧接着剤層が、(a)第1モノマーとしての2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート、及び、場合により、(b)エチレン性不飽和基を有する第2モノマーを含有する重合性材料の反応生成物を含む感圧接着剤組成物を含む、多層感圧接着剤(PSA)アセンブリ。 - 前記第2モノマーが、アルキル(メタ)アクリレートエステル、好ましくは1〜30個の、更に好ましくは1〜20個の、更により好ましくは1〜15個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基を有する無極性アルキル(メタ)アクリレートエステルを含む、請求項1に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記第2モノマーが、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、tert−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソ−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、ステアリル(メタ)アクリレート、フェニル(メタ)アクリレート、シクロヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、イソボルニル(メタ)アクリレート、ベンジル(メタ)アクリレート、イソフォリル(メタ)アクリレート、N−ビニルカプロラクタム、これらのいずれかの組み合わせ、又は混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記重合性材料が、前記第2モノマーとは異なるアルキル(メタ)アクリレートエステル、極性モノマー、無極性ビニルモノマー、これらのいずれかの組み合わせ、又は混合物からなる群から一般的に選択されるコモノマーを更に含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記コモノマーが、極性モノマー、好ましくは極性アクリレート、更に好ましくは、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、ヒドロキシアルキルアクリレート、アクリルアミド及び置換アクリルアミド、アクリルアミン及び置換アクリルアミン、並びにこれらのいずれかの組み合わせ、又は混合物からなる群から選択される極性モノマーを含む、請求項4に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記重合性材料が、前記重合性材料の総重量を基準として、50〜99.5重量%又は60〜90重量%の第1モノマーとしての2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレートと、0.5〜50重量%、1.0〜50重量%、3.0〜40重量%、5.0〜35重量%又は更に10〜30重量%の前記第2モノマーと、を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記重合性材料が、前記重合性材料の総重量を基準として、
a)50〜99.5重量%又は60〜90重量%の第1モノマーとしての2−プロピルヘプチルアクリレート、
b)1.0〜50重量%、3.0〜40重量%、5.0〜35重量%又は10〜30重量%のエチレン性不飽和基を有する前記第2モノマー、好ましくはエチレン性不飽和基を有する第2の非極性モノマー、
c)0.1〜15重量%、0.5〜15重量%、1.0〜10重量%、2.0〜8.0重量%、2.5〜6.0重量%又は更に3.0〜6.0重量%の極性モノマー、好ましくは極性アクリレート、及び、場合によって、
d)粘着付与樹脂を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。 - 前記感圧接着剤組成物が、重合性材料100部に対して、好ましくは、3〜100部、3〜80部、3〜50部、5〜30部、又は更に5〜25部の粘着付与樹脂を更に含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記粘着付与樹脂が、C5系炭化水素樹脂、C9系炭化水素樹脂、C5/C9系炭化水素樹脂、及びこれらのいずれかの組み合わせ、又は混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項14に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記高分子発泡体層が、ポリアクリレート、ポリウレタン、ポリオレフィン、ポリスチレン、ポリビニル、天然ゴム、合成ゴム、ポリビニルピロリドン、及びこれらのいずれかの組み合わせ、コポリマー、又は混合物からなる群から選択される高分子ベース材料を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の感圧接着剤層、前記高分子発泡体層、及び/又は前記中間層が、フィラー粒子、微小球、拡張可能な微小球、好ましくはペンタンで充填された拡張可能な微小球、若しくはガス空洞、ガラスビーズ、ガラス微小球、疎水性シリカ型フィラー、親水性シリカ型フィラー、繊維、電気的及び/若しくは熱的な導電性粒子、ナノ粒子、並びにそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から好ましくは選択される少なくとも1つのフィラー材料を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリ。
- 前記感圧接着剤層及び前記高分子発泡体層が互いに重ね合わせられている、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の多層PSAアセンブリを製造する方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤層及び前記高分子発泡体層が別個に調製され、その後、互いに積層される、請求項12に記載の方法。
