Claims (11)
- 上部シートと下部シートが接合されて形成されたパウチ型ケース;及び
前記パウチ型ケースの内部に収納される電極組立体を含む二次電池において、
前記上部シート及び下部シートが接合されたパウチ型ケースの外周面上に、密封性を向上させるためのポリマーコーティング層をさらに含むパウチ型二次電池。 - 前記上部シート及び下部シートは、それぞれ内部層、金属層及び外部層を含む請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記ポリマーは、UV硬化性ポリマーまたは熱硬化性ポリマーである請求項1または請求項2に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記UV硬化性ポリマーは、2つ以上のイソシアネート基を有する有機イソシアネート化合物及びポリラクトン系化合物で変性されたヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート樹脂からなる群より選択される1種以上を含む請求項3に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記熱硬化性ポリマーは、エポキシアルキル(メト)アクリレート、アリルグリシジルエーテル、アリルグリシジルエステル、アリールグリシジルエーテル、アリールグリシジルエステル、グリシジル5−ノルボルネン−2−メチル−2−カルボキシレート(エンド、エキソ混合物)、1,2−エポキシ−5−ヘキセン、1,2−エポキシ−9−デセン、グリシジル(メト)アクリレート、グリシジルα−エチル(メト)アクリレート、グリシジルα−n−プロピル(メト)アクリレート、グリシジルα−n−ブチル(メト)アクリレート、メチルグリシジル(メト)アクリレート、3,4−エポキシブチル(メト)アクリレート、4,5−エポキシペンチル(メト)アクリレート、5,6−エポキシヘプチル(メト)アクリレート、及び6,7−エポキシヘプチルα−エチルアクリレートからなる群より選択される1種以上を含む請求項3または請求項4に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記ポリマーコーティング層は、前記電極組立体の電極端子が突出される面と垂直である外周面に形成する請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記ポリマーコーティング層は、前記電極組立体の電極端子が突出される面と水平である外周面に形成する請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記ポリマーコーティング層は、上部シート及び下部シートが接合されたパウチ型ケースの全体外周面に形成する請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 電極組立体を収納する収納部と、前記収納部と連結されて前記収納部の内部で発生するガスを捕集するガス捕集部とを備えたパウチ型ケースを準備する段階;
前記パウチ型ケースの内部に電極組立体を収納する段階;
前記パウチ型ケースの周辺部を熱融着して密封する段階;
前記パウチ型ケースの内部に電解液を注入する段階;
二次電池を活性化させて、前記活性化過程で発生したガスを、前記ガス捕集部を介して捕集する段階;
前記収納部とガス捕集部の境界部を熱融着する段階;
前記ガス捕集部を切断して除去する段階;及び
前記電極組立体が収納されたパウチ型ケースの外周面上にポリマーコーティング層を形成する段階
を含む請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記ポリマーコーティング層は、接触式塗布方法によって行われる請求項9に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記接触式塗布方法は、スポンジ塗布ヘッドまたはローラ塗布ヘッドを用いて行われる請求項10に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
