- パウチ型二次電池であって、
セル及び電極を備えた電極組立体と、前記電極組立体を収容する収容空間とを備えてなり、
前記電極組立体の上下部の板面をそれぞれ覆う上部シート及び下部シートを備えたパウチと、及び
前記収容空間中の前記電極組立体が占める空間以外の空の空間であるテラスを覆う前記上部シート及び前記下部シートを厚さ方向に圧着させた、前記上部シート及び前記下部シートが接して形成されたテラスシーリングとを備えてなる、パウチ型二次電池。 - 前記テラスシーリングは、前記シートの厚さ方向と交差する平面上の断面が円形、多角形、及び無定形のうちいずれか一つである、請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記テラスシーリングの断面は、前記電極組立体と接する部分に空の空間が発生しないように電極組立体に沿って形成された線を有する、請求項2に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体の板面が多角形である場合、前記テラスシーリングが、多角形状の電極組立体の各コーナー部のうち少なくとも一つ以上に形成されたものである、請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。

前記テラスシーリングが、前記外郭密封領域、前記電極組立体、及び前記電極リードによって取り囲まれて形成されたものである、請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。 - 前記テラスシーリングは、前記シートの厚さ方向と交差する方向の断面が前記外郭密封領域、前記電極組立体、及び前記電極リードに全て接する形状である、請求項5に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記上部シート及び前記下部シートのうち少なくとも一つ以上を厚さ方向に貫通して形成された少なくとも一つ以上のシート貫通孔を備えてなり、
前記シート貫通孔が、前記テラスシーリングと重畳する位置にある、請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。 - パウチ型二次電池の製造方法であって、
前記パウチ型二次電池が、セル及び電極を備えた電極組立体と、前記電極組立体を収容する収容空間とを備えてなり、
前記電極組立体の上下部の板面をそれぞれ覆う上部シート及び下部シートを含むパウチを設ける段階と、
前記電極組立体を前記パウチの収容空間に収納する段階と、及び
前記収容空間中の前記電極組立体が占める空間以外の空の空間であるテラスを覆う前記上部シート及び前記下部シートを厚さ方向に圧着して接合し、テラスシーリングを形成する段階とを含んでなる、パウチ型二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記テラスシーリングを形成する段階において、前記シートの厚さ方向と交差する平面での前記テラスシーリングの断面が円形、多角形、及び無定形のうちいずれか一つに形成してなる、請求項8に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記テラスシーリングの断面は、前記電極組立体と接する部分に空の空間が発生しないように電極組立体に沿って形成された線を有してなる、請求項9に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電極組立体の板面が長方形である場合、前記テラスシーリングを形成する段階は、長方形状の電極組立体の各コーナー部のうち少なくとも一つ以上に前記テラスシーリングを形成するものである、請求項8に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記テラスシーリングを形成する前または前記テラスシーリングを形成した後に、
前記上部シート及び前記下部シートを厚さ方向に貫通するシート貫通孔を形成する段階をさらに含んでなり、
前記シート貫通孔が、前記テラスシーリングと重畳する位置に形成してなる、請求項8に記載のパウチ型二次電池の製造方法。
