Abstract
Description
−Bi2O3及びB2O3を含むガラス組成物を提供するステップ;
−前記組成物を溶融し、この溶融した組成物をガラスへと形成するステップ;
−前記ガラスを粒子に破砕し、前記組成物を有するフリットガラスを形成するステップ;
−前記フリットガラスを1つ又は複数の蛍光体と調合し、蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物を形成するステップ;
−少なくとも1つの有機液体を前記蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物に添加して、前記混合物をペーストに変換するステップ;
−前記ペーストを表面上に塗布するステップ;および
−前記塗布したペーストを焼成して有機材料を焼尽させ、蛍光体−フリットガラスを形成するステップ;
を含む。
10〜30%のBi2O3;
0%より多いNa2O;
15〜50%のZnO、ZnF2又はこれらの組合せ;
30〜55%のB2O3;
0〜3%のSiO2;
0〜1%のWO3;
0〜12%のBaO、CaO、SrO又はこれらの組合せ
を含む、ガラス組成物である。
固結した蛍光体含有ガラス層、及び前記蛍光体含有ガラス層を備えるデバイスは、シリコーンを封着材料として使用する場合よりも熱的により堅牢であること;
前記固結した蛍光体含有ガラス層は、より良好な化学的及び環境的安定性を有すること;
前記固結した蛍光体含有ガラス層とLED含有層との間により良好な屈折率適合が存在し、これにより後方散乱が低減され、ガラス中の前記蛍光体の量子効率を90%超(例えば95%超)に維持でき、前記複合物を100マイクロメートルもの薄さに作製でき、前記蛍光体を熱的に劣化させないように処理温度を約520℃未満に維持でき、異なる蛍光体を単一の層に結合でき、前記蛍光体の幾何学的パターンを基板上に作製できること;
被覆されたLED色若しくは白色点を制御できること;並びに/若しくは
蛍光体プレートを別個の部品として作製するので、組立前に最適厚さ及び発光色を測定でき、これにより廃棄されるLEDの数を低減すること
のうち1つ又は複数を有し得る。更に、Pb非含有封着用ガラスは、屈折率をLED蛍光体に適合でき、かつこの蛍光体の使用上限未満の温度で封着用フリットとして機能できる。
−Bi2O3及びB2O3を含むガラス組成物を提供するステップ;
−前記組成物を溶融し、この溶融した組成物をガラスへと形成するステップ;
−前記ガラスを粒子に破砕し、前記組成物を有するフリットガラスを形成するステップ;
−前記フリットガラスを1つ又は複数の蛍光体と調合し、蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物を形成するステップ;
−少なくとも1つの有機液体を前記蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物に添加して、前記混合物をペーストに変換するステップ;
−前記ペーストを表面上に塗布するステップ;および
−前記塗布したペーストを焼成して有機材料を焼尽させ、蛍光体−フリットガラスを形成するステップ;
を含む。
−Bi2O3及び少なくとも30モル%のB2O3を含むガラス組成物を提供するステップ;
−前記組成物を溶融し、この溶融した組成物をガラスへと形成するステップ;
−前記ガラスを粒子に破砕し、前記組成物を有するフリットガラスを形成するステップ;
−前記フリットガラスを1つ又は複数の蛍光体と調合し、蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物を形成するステップ;
−前記蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物を粉砕するステップ;
−前記粉砕した蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物をふるいにかけるステップ;
−少なくとも1つの有機液体を前記粉砕してふるいにかけた蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物に添加して、前記混合物をペーストに変換するステップ;
−前記ペーストを表面上に塗布するステップ;および
−前記塗布したペーストを焼成して、有機材料を焼尽させるステップ;
を含む。

Claims (10)
- ガラス層を備える物品であって、
前記層は、Bi2O3及びB2O3を含むガラス;並びに少なくとも1つの蛍光体を含み、
前記層は、前記Bi2O3及びB2O3を含むフリットと、前記少なくとも1つの蛍光体との焼成混合物である、物品。 - 前記層がPbを含有しない、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ガラスが、モル%で:
10〜30%のBi2O3;
0〜20%のM2O(ここでMは、Li、Na、K、Cs又はこれらの組合せである);
0〜20%のRO(ここでRは、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba又はこれらの組合せである);
15〜50%のZnO、ZnF2又はこれらの組合せ;
0〜5%のAl2O3;
0〜5%のP2O5;及び
30〜55%のB2O3
を含む、請求項1に記載の物品。 - 前記ガラスが、
12〜20%のBi2O3;
5〜12%のNa2O;
20〜30%のZnO;
38〜52%のB2O3;
0〜3%のSiO2;
0〜1%のWO3;
0〜12%のBaO、CaO、SrO又はこれらの組合せ
を含む、請求項3に記載の物品。 - 前記ガラスが、473nmの波長において1.81〜1.83の屈折率及び460℃以下のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項4に記載の物品。
- 基板を更に含み、該基板上に前記ガラス層が設けられる、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ガラス層及び前記基板のCTEは、互いに対して±5×10−7以内である、請求項6に記載の物品。
- ガラス物品を作製するための方法であって、前記方法は:
−Bi2O3及びB2O3を含むガラス組成物を提供するステップ;
−前記組成物を溶融してこの溶融した組成物をガラスへと形成するステップ;
−前記ガラスを粒子に破砕し、前記組成物を有するフリットガラスを形成するステップ;
−前記フリットガラスを1つ又は複数の蛍光体と調合し、蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物を形成するステップ;
−少なくとも1つの有機液体を前記蛍光体−フリットガラス混合物に添加して、前記混合物をペーストに変換するステップ;
−前記ペーストを表面上に塗布するステップ;並びに
−前記塗布したペーストを焼成して有機材料を焼尽させ、蛍光体−フリットガラスを形成するステップ;
を含む方法。 - 前記塗布が、前記ペーストを前記基板上にスクリーン印刷又はテープ成形することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。

0%より多いNa2O;
15〜50%のZnO、ZnF2又はこれらの組合せ;
