また、上記化学式1で、R4は、炭素数6〜12のアリール基または−C(=O)−O−Xであり、上記で、Xは、メチル基、tert−ブチル基または炭素数6〜12のシクロアルキル基であることができる。
ゲル分率(%)=B/A×100
可塑剤として使用されることができるアクリル重合体としては、例えば、東亜合成(株)でARUFON UP−1000、ARUFON UP−1010、ARUFON UP−1020、ARUFON UP−1021、ARUFON UP−1110、ARUFON UH−2032、ARUFON UH−2041、ARUFON UC−3510、ARUFON UG−4000、ARUFON UG−4010またはARUFON US−6110などの製品名として市販されている物質が例示されることができる。
実施例及び比較例で製造された粘着テープを、横の長さが2.54cmであり且つ縦の長さが12.7cmになるようにカットし、試験片を製造する。接着力の評価時に被着体としては、エチルアセテートで洗浄したアルミニウム板を、温度が25℃であり且つ相対湿度が50%である恒温恒湿槽に24時間維持させたものを使用する。試験片の第2粘着剤層を上記アルミニウム板に付着し、付着後、30分が経過した時点で180度の剥離角度及び300mm/minの剥離速度で剥離しながら剥離強度を測定し、測定された剥離強度を初期接着力として規定する。
初期接着力の測定時と同一の試験片の第2粘着剤層を初期接着力測定時と同一の被着体に付着し、7日が経過した時点で同一に剥離強度を測定した後、これを後期接着力として定義する。下記一般式2に初期及び後期接着力を代入して経時変化を測定する。通常、経時変化が20%以内なら、経時変化はないものと規定することができる。
接着力の経時変化=100×△P/Pi
実施例または比較例で製造された第1または第2粘着剤層を約0.3g採取してステンレス200メッシュ鉄網に入れた後、エチルアセテートに沈積し、常温の暗室で2日間保管する。引き続いて、エチルアセテートに溶解されない上記粘着剤層(不溶解分)を採取し、70℃のオーブンで4時間乾燥させた後、質量(乾燥質量、単位g)を測定し、下記数式に代入してゲル分率を測定する。
ゲル分率(%)=(測定された乾燥質量)/0.3×100
実施例及び比較例で製造された粘着テープを、横の長さが25mmであり且つ縦の長さが50mmになるようにカットし、試験片を製造する。維持力の評価時に、被着体としては、エチルアセテートで洗浄したアルミニウム板を、温度が25℃であり且つ相対湿度が50%である恒温恒湿槽に24時間維持させたものを使用する。試験片の第1粘着剤層を上記アルミニウム板に付着し、80℃の温度の恒温槽で粘着テープに1kgの重みを付けて、1時間放置した後、粘着テープが被着体から滑った距離を測定し、維持力を評価する。維持力は、粘着テープの耐久信頼性の尺度になることができる。
実施例及び比較例で製造された粘着テープを、横の長さが440mmであり且つ縦の長さが500mmになるようにカットし、試験片を製造する。試験片の第2粘着剤層をアルミニウム板に付着し、80℃の温度及び85%の相対湿度の恒温恒湿槽で72時間放置する。その後、初期接着力の測定時と同一の条件で上記粘着テープをアルミニウム板から剥離した後、下記基準によって再作業性を評価する。
○:目視でアルミニウム板に粘着剤層の残渣などの汚染が確認されない場合
△:目視でアルミニウム板に粘着剤層の残渣などの汚染が多少確認される場合
×:目視でアルミニウム板に粘着剤層の残渣などの汚染が深刻に観察される場合
実施例及び比較例で製造された粘着テープを、横の長さが2.54mmであり且つ縦の長さが12.7mmになるようにカットし、試験片を製造する。試験片の第2粘着剤層をアルミニウム板に付着し、その状態で23℃の水に24時間浸漬する。水から取り出したアルミニウム板で初期接着力測定と同一の条件で粘着テープを剥離しながら剥離強度を測定する。
実施例または比較例で製造された粘着テープの第1粘着剤層を多孔性ポリウレタン研磨パッドに積層し、ラミネータでラミネートする。その後、第2粘着剤層を研磨装置固定定盤に付着する。LCD用ガラスを研磨パッド上に積層し、研磨スラリーを噴射しながら研磨圧力を50kPaとし、回転数を100rpmとして5分間研磨することを1サイクルにして研磨を行う。研磨中の剥離有無は、下記の基準によって評価する。
○:研磨を10サイクル繰り返した場合にも、粘着テープと定盤の界面で剥離が観察されない場合
△:研磨を10サイクル繰り返した場合に、粘着テープと定盤の界面のエッジ(edge)で剥離が観察される場合
×:研磨を1サイクル行った場合に、粘着テープと定盤の界面の剥離が観察される場合
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易になるように冷却装置を設置した2L反応器にn−ブチルアクリレート(n−BA)95重量部、及びアクリル酸5重量部を投入した。引き続いて、溶剤としてエチルアセテート(EAc)120重量部を投入し、酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを60分間パージング(purging)した。引き続いて、温度を70℃に維持し、反応開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.02重量部を投入した後、8時間反応させて、アクリル樹脂(A1)を合成した。合成された樹脂(A1)の分子量をGPCで測定し、その結果を表1に整理した。
単量体として2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート(2−EHA)49重量部、n−ブチルアクリレート(n−BA)30重量部、メチルアクリレート10重量部、イソボルニルアクリレート10重量部及び4−ヒドロキシブチルアクリレート(4−HBA)1重量部を反応器に投入したことを除いて、製造例1に準ずる方式で重合させて、アクリル樹脂(B1)を製造した。
単量体の重量比率と溶剤の比率などを下記表1のように変更したことを除いて、製造例1に準ずる方式で各樹脂を製造した。
粘着剤組成物の製造
第1粘着剤層を形成する組成物(A)は、アクリル樹脂(A1)100g、N,N,N',N'−テトラグリシジルエチレンジアミン0.08g及びロジンエステル系の粘着性付与剤(ポーラル85、ハーキュレス社製)25gを混合した後、30gのエチルアセテートを投入し、10分〜20分間均一に撹拌混合して製造した。また、第2粘着剤層を形成する組成物(B)は、アクリル樹脂(B1)100g、トリメチロールプロパンのトリレンジイソシアネート付加物0.1gを配合し、上記組成物(A)のように均一に混合して製造した。
PET(poly(ethylene terephthalate)基材層(厚さ:188μm、ドレイ社製)の一面にコロナ処理を行い、粘着剤組成物(B)のコーティング性を考慮して適正濃度で希釈したコーティング液を上記コロナ処理面に乾燥後の厚さが35μmになるようにコーティングし、架橋反応が適切に進行されるように熟成し、第2粘着剤層を形成した。その後、PET基材層の他の面にやはりコロナ処理を行い、上記コロナ処理面に粘着剤組成物(A)のコーティング性を考慮して適正濃度で希釈したコーティング液を乾燥後の厚さが55μmになるようにコーティングし、架橋反応が適切に進行されるように熟成し、第1粘着剤層を形成し、粘着テープを製造した。
粘着テープの第1粘着剤層をヒーティングラミネータを用いて多孔性ポリウレタン系研磨材に加熱ラミネートし、研磨パッドを製造した。
第1及び第2粘着剤層を形成する粘着剤組成物の成分をそれぞれ下記表2または表3のように変更したことを除いて、実施例1と同一の方式で実施例2〜7及び比較例1〜4の粘着テープ及び研磨パッドを製造した。

Claims (19)
- 第1粘着剤層は、粘着樹脂及びガラス転移温度または軟化点が85℃以上の粘着性付与剤を含む、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ。
- 第1粘着剤層は、粘着樹脂100重量部に対して1重量部〜70重量部の粘着性付与剤を含む、請求項2に記載の粘着テープ。
- 粘着性付与剤は、ヒドロカーボン樹脂、ヒドロカーボン樹脂の水素添加物、ロジン樹脂、ロジン樹脂の水素添加物、ロジンエステル樹脂、ロジンエステル樹脂の水素添加物、テルペン樹脂、テルペン樹脂の水素添加物、テルペンフェノール樹脂、テルペンフェノール樹脂の水素添加物、重合ロジン樹脂または重合ロジンエステル樹脂である、請求項2に記載の粘着テープ。
- 第1粘着剤層は、粘着樹脂100重量部に対して0.001重量部〜7重量部の多官能性架橋剤をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の粘着テープ。
- 非酸性粘着樹脂は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ。
- 非酸性粘着樹脂は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体50重量部〜99重量部及び化学式1の化合物10重量部〜50重量部を含む、請求項6に記載の粘着テープ。
- 非酸性粘着樹脂は、重量平均分子量が30万以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ。
- 第2粘着剤層は、非酸性粘着樹脂100重量部に対して0.01重量部〜10重量部の多官能性架橋剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ。
- 第2粘着剤層は、粘着樹脂100重量部に対して0.5重量部〜30重量部の可塑剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ。
- 第2粘着剤層は、下記一般式1によるゲル分率が30%〜90%である、請求項1に記載の粘着テープ:

上記一般式1で、Aは、第2粘着剤層の質量であり、Bは、上記質量Aの第2粘着剤層を常温でエチルアセテートに48時間沈積させた後に採取した不溶解分の乾燥質量である。 - 請求項1に記載の粘着テープと;上記粘着テープの第1粘着剤層に付着している研磨材と;を含む研磨パッド。
