Claims (5)
- 入力軸と、その入力軸と同軸上に配置された出力軸の相互間において回転の伝達と遮断とを行なう2方向クラッチおよびその2方向クラッチの係合および解除を制御する電磁クラッチを有し、
前記2方向クラッチが、前記出力軸の軸端部に設けられた外輪の内周と前記入力軸の軸端部に設けられた内輪の外周間に、制御保持器および回転保持器のそれぞれに設けられた柱部が周方向に交互に配置されるよう組込み、隣接する柱部間に形成されたポケット内に前記外輪の内周および内輪の外周に対して係合可能な一対の係合子と、その一対の係合子を離反する方向に付勢する弾性部材とを組込んだ構成とされ、
前記電磁クラッチが、前記制御保持器に連結されたアーマチュアと、そのアーマチュアと軸方向で対向するロータと、そのロータと軸方向で対向し、通電によりロータにアーマチュアを吸着させる電磁石とからなり、
前記電磁石に対する通電によりアーマチュアと共に制御保持器をロータに向けて軸方向に移動させ、その軸方向への移動を運動変換機構により制御保持器と回転保持器をポケットの周方向幅が小さくなる方向の相対回転運動に変換して一対の係合子を係合解除させるようにした回転伝達装置において、
前記外輪と制御保持器の相互間に、前記電磁石に対する通電の遮断によって2方向クラッチを係合させた状態で、その外輪と制御保持器とが相対的に回転するのを防止する回り止め手段を設け、その回り止め手段が、前記外輪と前記制御保持器の軸方向の対向面のそれぞれにおいて周方向に等間隔に設けられ複数の突出部からなり、その複数の突出部の少なくとも一つが周方向で係合するよう外輪側の突出部と制御保持器側の突出部の数を相違させ、その突出部のそれぞれを熱処理したことを特徴とする回転伝達装置。 - 前記熱処理が、レーザ焼入れまたは高周波焼入れからなる請求項1に記載の回転伝達装置。
- 前記突出部が、前記外輪および制御保持器に直接形成された請求項1又は2に記載の回転伝達装置。
- 前記突出部が、前記外輪および制御保持器のそれぞれに嵌合固定されるリングに設けられた請求項1又は2に記載の回転伝達装置。
- 前記運動変換機構が、前記制御保持器のフランジと回転保持器のフランジの対向面それぞれに、周方向の中央部で深く、両端に至るに従って溝深さが次第に浅くなるカム溝を設け、そのカム溝間にボールを収容して、前記制御保持器の軸方向の移動により、ポケットの周方向幅が小さくなる方向に一対の保持器を相対回転させるトルクカムからなり、前記回り止め手段における外輪側突出部の外輪順方向回転における後行側の端面およびその端面に対向する制御保持器側突出部の端面のそれぞれをテーパ面とし、そのテーパ面の外輪端面に対する傾斜角度を前記トルクカムにおけるカム溝の外輪端面に対する傾斜角度より小さくした請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の回転伝達装置。
