Abstract
【解決手段】回転角検出システムは、回転軸の回転に応じて、所定の角度単位毎のパルス列よりなる回転信号を出力するものであり、回転数が基準回転数未満の低回転時には、第1角度単位の信号を出力し、回転数が基準数以上の高回転時には、第1角度単位よりも大きい第2角度単位の信号を出力するとともに、回転信号に低回転と高回転とを判別可能なパルス幅情報を付加して出力する回転センサ(12)と、回転信号に基づいて、回転軸の回転角を検出する電子制御装置(14)を備える。電子制御装置は、パルス幅情報に基づいて低回転と高回転のいずれであるかを判定するとともに、低回転の場合、回転信号を第1角度単位の信号としてカウントし、高回転の場合、回転信号を第2角度単位の信号としてカウントする。

先ず、図1に基づいて、クランク角検出システムの構成を説明する。
Claims (6)
- 回転軸の回転に応じて、所定の角度単位毎のパルス列よりなる回転信号を出力するものであり、回転数が基準回転数未満の低回転時には、前記回転信号として第1角度単位の信号を出力し、回転数が前記基準回転数以上の高回転時には、前記回転信号として前記第1角度単位よりも大きい第2角度単位の信号を出力するとともに、前記回転信号に低回転と高回転とを判別可能なパルス幅情報を付加して出力する回転センサ(12)と、
前記回転センサから出力される前記回転信号に基づいて、前記回転軸の回転角を検出する電子制御装置(14)と、を備え、
前記電子制御装置は、前記回転信号の前記パルス幅情報に基づいて、低回転と高回転のいずれであるかを判定する判定手段(S41)と、低回転と判定された場合、前記回転信号を前記第1角度単位の信号としてカウントし、高回転と判定された場合、前記回転信号を前記第2角度単位の信号としてカウントするカウント手段(S42,S43)と、を有することを特徴とする回転角検出システム。 - 前記回転センサ(12)は、高回転のパルス幅が低回転のパルス幅よりも狭くなるように、前記パルス幅情報を付加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転角検出システム。
- 前記回転センサ(12)は、前記パルス幅情報として、正転と逆転とを判別可能な情報を付加することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の回転角検出システム。
- 前記回転センサ(12)は、所定の回転角度毎に切り替えタイミングを生成するとともに、回転数が前記第1角度単位の信号と前記第2角度単位の信号との切り替え条件を満たした状態で前記切り替えタイミングを生じると、前記回転信号を前記第1角度単位の信号及び前記第2角度単位の信号の一方から他方に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の回転角検出システム。
- 前記電子制御装置(14)は、前記第1角度単位の信号から前記第2角度単位の信号に切り替えた際に、カウント値が前記第2角度単位の倍数とならない場合、前記カウント値を前記第2角度単位の倍数に補正する補正手段(S45)を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の回転角検出システム。
- 前記回転軸は、エンジンのクランク軸(100)であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の回転角検出システム。
