Abstract
Description
板状黒鉛をミリング方式で凝集して、粒径が21μmであり、粒子表面の非晶質化度が0.30である球状化天然黒鉛粒子を製造した後、前記天然黒鉛粒子とCMC及びSBRを重量比98:1:1(球状化天然黒鉛粒子:CMC:SBR)で水に混合してスラリーを製造し、このようなスラリーをCuホイルに塗布した後、乾燥及び圧延して負極を製造した。
粒径が23μmであり、粒子表面の非晶質化度が0.40である球状化天然黒鉛粒子を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で負極を製造した。
粒径が21μmであり、粒子表面の非晶質化度が0.45である球状化天然黒鉛粒子を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で負極を製造した。
粒径が22μmであり、粒子表面の非晶質化度が0.23である球状化天然黒鉛粒子を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で負極を製造した。
実施例1乃至実施例3及び比較例1でのスラリーの粘度及び安定性を測定して、その結果を図1に示した。
実施例1乃至実施例3及び比較例1の負極と、正極活物質としてLiCoO2、バインダーとしてPVdF、及び導電材として天然黒鉛を含む正極とを組み合わせてコインハーフセルを製造し、これらを3.0〜4.2Vの電圧領域で充放電を進行しながら寿命特性を測定した。その結果を図2に示した。
Claims (14)
- 板状黒鉛が凝集した球状の粒子からなっており、粒子の外面に炭素系物質が塗布されておらず、粒子の表面は、ラマンスペクトルのR値[R=I1350/I1580](I1350は、1350cm−1付近のラマン強度、I1580は、1580cm−1付近のラマン強度)が0.30〜1.0である範囲で非晶質化度が0.3以上である天然黒鉛粒子を含むことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記R値は0.30〜0.50であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記非晶質化度は0.3〜0.5であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記天然黒鉛粒子は、粒子の表面の少なくとも一部の炭素元素に親水性置換基が結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記天然黒鉛粒子の平均粒径は21μm〜25μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記天然黒鉛粒子の比表面積は4.5〜5.5以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 前記天然黒鉛粒子は、負極活物質全体の重量を基準として90重量%含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用負極活物質。
- 請求項1に記載の負極活物質、水系増粘剤及び水系バインダーを含むことを特徴とする、二次電池用負極合剤。
- 前記水系増粘剤はCMC(Carboxy Methyl Cellulose)であり、前記水系バインダーはSBR(Styrene−Butadiene Rubber)であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の二次電池用負極合剤。
- 前記CMCは、負極合剤全体の重量を基準として1.0〜2.0重量%含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の二次電池用負極合剤。
- 前記SBRは、負極合剤全体の重量を基準として1.0〜2.0重量%含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の二次電池用負極合剤。
- 請求項11に記載の負極合剤を負極集電体に塗布及び乾燥することを特徴とする、負極。
- 請求項12に記載の前記負極、分離膜及び正極を含むことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。
- 請求項13に記載のリチウム二次電池を単位電池として含むことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。
