【解決手段】有機発光素子が形成された基板と、前記有機発光素子を覆い、前記基板と結合された封止部と、を含み、前記封止部は、無機層と有機層が積層され、前記無機層と前記有機層の各端部が前記基板に結合し、前記有機層の厚さは前記無機層の厚さより厚い、有機発光表示装置。

Claims (15)
- 有機発光素子が形成された基板と、
前記有機発光素子を覆い、前記基板と結合された封止部と、
を含み、
前記封止部は、無機層と有機層が積層され、前記無機層と前記有機層の各端部が前記基板に結合し、前記有機層の厚さは前記無機層の厚さより厚い、有機発光表示装置。 - 前記封止部は、前記無機層と前記有機層をそれぞれ少なくとも一つ以上備え、前記無機層と前記有機層は交互に積層される、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記有機発光素子から最も近くに配置される前記封止部の第1層と、前記有機発光素子から最も遠くに配置される前記封止部のn層とが、全て無機層である、請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記無機層と前記有機層が一対でサブ封止部を成し、前記サブ封止部がn個(但し、n=2)に積層される、請求項1または2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記n個のサブ封止部のうち、n番目サブ封止部の無機層が有する面積が、n−1番目サブ封止部の無機層が有する面積より大きい、請求項4に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記n個のサブ封止部のうち、n番目サブ封止部の有機層が有する面積が、n−1番目サブ封止部の有機層が有する面積より大きい、請求項4に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記有機発光素子と前記封止部との間に配置された光機能性膜をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記光機能性膜が紫外線遮断膜である、請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記光機能性膜の厚さが20nm〜200nmである、請求項8に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記光機能性膜の厚さが50nm〜150nmである、請求項8に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記光機能性膜が、トリス−8−ヒドロキシキノリンアルミニウム(Alq3)、ベンゾフェノン、フォトアクリル、BaF2、CsF、Na5Al3F14、KCl、及びSiO2より選択されたいずれか一つの材質を含む、請求項8に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記光機能性膜が、互いに異なる屈折率を有する第1膜と第2膜が積層された反射膜である、請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記有機層が紫外線硬化物質からなり、前記第1膜と前記第2膜の光学的厚さが前記有機層を硬化することに用いられる紫外線波長のλ/4である、請求項12に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1膜がトリス−8−ヒドロキシキノリンアルミニウム(Alq3)、ベンゾフェノン、フォトアクリル、BaF2、CsF、Na5Al3F14、KCl、及びSiO2より選択されたいずれか一つの材質を含み、
前記第2膜がシリコン窒化物(SiN)、Cu20、Fe203、TiO2、及びZnSeより選択されたいずれか一つの材質を含む、請求項12に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記有機層の厚さが前記無機層の厚さより少なくとも5倍である、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
