Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の防食端子付きアルミ電線60は、アルミニウム製の芯線41を被覆42で覆ったアルミ電線40と、銅合金からなる基材を打ち抜いて曲げ加工を施したものであって、アルミ電線40の端末が接続された電線接続部30を有し、この電線接続部30を構成する基材の端部に露出した銅合金が防食剤50で覆われてなる防食端子10とを備え、電線接続部30における基材の端部は、電線接続部30の上面においてアルミ電線40の端末を巻き込む形態で内向きに一対設けられ、これら一対の基材の端部に囲まれることで貯留部33、34が形成されており、防食剤50は、貯留部33、34に貯留され、かつ、電線接続部30の上面における最大幅領域W1、W2よりも狭い領域R1、R2に配されている構成としたところに特徴を有する。

Description
電線接続部は、芯線に圧着されるワイヤバレルと、被覆に圧着されるインシュレーションバレルとを備えて構成され、貯留部は、ワイヤバレルの前端部を含んで形成された前側貯留部と、ワイヤバレルの後端部を含んで形成された後側貯留部とを有する構成としてもよい。
ワイヤバレルを圧着するには、ワイヤバレルを構成する一対のバレル片を内側に巻き込むようにしてかしめることで圧着が行われる。上記の構成によると、ワイヤバレルの前後両側に貯留部を設けているため、貯留部を成形しやすくなる。
このような構成によると、ワイヤバレルの後端に形成されるベルマウスを利用して後側貯留部を形成することができる。
このような構成によると、電線と銅または銅合金製の基材との間で発生しやすい電食を防止することができる。
本発明の実施形態を図1ないし図15の図面を参照しながら説明する。本実施形態における防食端子10は、図8に示すように、角筒形状をなす端子接続部20と、この端子接続部20の後方に形成された電線接続部30とを備えている。図1に示すように、電線接続部30がアルミ電線40の端末に圧着され、図4に示すように、電線接続部30に防食剤50が塗布されることにより、防食端子付きアルミ電線60が構成される。防食剤50は、防食端子10の上方から原液状態で滴下または散布された後、所定時間UV照射を行うことにより固化される。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では防食端子10として端子接続部20を有する雌端子を例示しているものの、本発明は、タブ状をなす接続部を有する雄端子に適用してもよい。

Claims (4)
- 芯線を絶縁被覆で覆った被覆電線と、
前記芯線とは異種の金属からなる基材を打ち抜いて曲げ加工を施した端子であって、前記被覆電線の端末が接続された電線接続部を有し、この電線接続部を構成する基材の端部に露出した金属が防食剤で覆われてなる防食端子とを備え、
前記電線接続部における前記基材の端部は、前記電線接続部の上面において前記被覆電線の端末を巻き込む形態で内向きに一対設けられ、これら一対の前記基材の端部に囲まれることで貯留部が形成されており、前記防食剤は、前記貯留部に貯留され、かつ、前記電線接続部の上面における最大幅領域よりも狭い領域に配されていることを特徴とする防食端子付き電線。 - 前記電線接続部は、前記芯線に圧着されるワイヤバレルと、前記被覆に圧着されるインシュレーションバレルとを備えて構成され、前記貯留部は、前記ワイヤバレルの前端部を含んで形成された前側貯留部と、前記ワイヤバレルの後端部を含んで形成された後側貯留部とを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の防食端子付き電線。
- 前記ワイヤバレルの後端部には、後方に向かうほど上り勾配をなすベルマウスが形成され、前記後側貯留部は、前記ベルマウスの後端に露出した基材の端部から後方に延出されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の防食端子付き電線。
- 前記被覆電線が、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金製の芯線を備えた電線である一方、前記防食端子が銅または銅合金製の基材からなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の防食端子付き電線。
