Abstract
【解決手段】 発光ダイオード(LED)部品の製造に適した、非常に高い結晶化速度、および熱処理後の白色保持率を特徴としているポリマー組成物。このようなポリマー組成物は、少なくとも1種のポリエステル、少なくとも1種の白色顔料、少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤および少なくとも1種の可塑剤を含む。

Description
− 少なくとも1つの脂環式基を含む繰り返し単位を少なくとも50モル%含む、少なくとも1種のポリエステル(P)、
− TiO2、ZnS、ZnO、CeO2およびBaSO4からなる群から選択される、少なくとも1種の白色顔料、
− 少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤、および
− ポリマー組成物(C)の全重量に基づいて、少なくとも1重量%および最大で4重量%の量で存在し、かつフタル酸エステル、トリメリット酸エステル、安息香酸エステル、テレフタル酸エステル、クエン酸エステル、シクロヘキサン二酸エステル、およびエーテルのオリゴマー/ポリマーのエステルからなる群から選択される、少なくとも200℃の沸点を有する少なくとも1種の可塑剤
を含むポリマー組成物(C)に関する。
「ポリエステル」という用語は、「コポリエステル」を含むことが意図され、かつ少なくとも1つのエステル部分(一般に式:R−(C=O)−OR’で記載される)を含む繰り返し単位を、少なくとも50モル%、好ましくは少なくとも85モル%含むポリマーを意味すると理解される。ポリエステルは、少なくとも1つのエステル部分を含む環状モノマー(MA)の開環重合によって;少なくとも1つのヒドロキシル基と少なくとも1つのカルボン酸基とを含むモノマー(MB)の重縮合によって、または少なくとも2つのヒドロキシル基を含む少なくとも1種のモノマー(MC)(ジオール)と少なくとも2つのカルボン酸基を含む少なくとも1種のモノマー(MD)(ジカルボン酸)との重縮合によって得ることができる。本明細書で使用される場合、ジカルボン酸という用語は、ジカルボン酸、およびジカルボン酸の任意の誘導体(それらの関連する酸のハロゲン化物、エステル、半エステル、塩、半塩、無水物、混合無水物、またはそれらの混合物を含む)を包含することが意図される。
ポリマー組成物(C)はまた、TiO2、ZnS、ZnO、CeO2およびBaSO4からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の白色顔料を含む。
ポリマー組成物(C)は、上に詳述された白色顔料と異なる、少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤を更に含む。
ポリマー組成物(C)は、少なくとも1種の可塑剤を更に含む。「可塑剤」という用語は、ポリマー組成物(C)の粘度を低下させる任意の添加剤を意味することが意図される。ポリマー組成物(C)の可塑剤は、有利にはフタル酸エステル、トリメリット酸エステル、安息香酸エステル、テレフタル酸エステル、クエン酸エステル、シクロヘキサン二酸エステルおよびポリエーテルエステルからなる群から選択される。
ポリマー組成物(C)はまた、ポリグリコシドまたはポリグリコール酸(PGA)、ポリ乳酸(PLA)、ポリカプロラクトン(PCL)、ポリエチレンアジペート(PEA)、ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(PHA)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)、ポリプロピレンテレフタレート(PPT)、ポリトリメチレンテレフタレート(PTT)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、ポリブチレンナフタレート(PBN)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、および液晶ポリエステル(LCP)からなる群から選択され得る、上述のポリエステル(P)と異なる、少なくとももう1種のポリマーを更に含み得る。それは、好ましくはPBT、PTT、PEN、PETおよびLCPからなる群から選択される。より好ましくは、それは、PBTおよびLCPからなる群から選択される。
ポリエステル:Eastman(商標) Chemical ProductsからのPCTポリエステル。
ガラス繊維:OCV995としてOCV(商標) Reinforcementsから市販されているE−ガラス繊維。
二酸化チタン1:Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha,Ltdから入手可能なTIPAQUE(登録商標)PC−3−ルチル型TiO2。
二酸化チタン2:Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha,Ltdから入手可能なTIPAQUE(登録商標)PF691−ルチル型TiO2。
安定剤:同量の2種の安定剤、即ち、Clariant(商標)から両方とも市販されているHostanox(登録商標)P−EPQおよびNylostab(登録商標)S−EEDを、実験を通して使用した。
添加剤:
化学的核形成剤1:Licomont Nav 101としてClariant(商標)から市販されているモンタン酸ナトリウム。
化学的核形成剤2:Alfa Aesarから市販されているステアリン酸ナトリウム。
溶融混和性核形成剤:AClyn(登録商標)としてHoneywell Internationalから市販されているエチレン−アクリル酸ナトリウムイオノマー。
無機核形成剤:HTP4としてIMI Fabi(商標)から市販されているタルク。
可塑剤1:Uniplex(商標)512としてLanxessから市販されているジ安息香酸ネオペンチルグリコール。
可塑剤2:Uniplex(商標)809としてLanxessから市販されているジ−2−エチルヘキサン酸PEG−400。
可塑剤3:Sigma−Aldrichから市販されているトリメリット酸トリオクチル。
潤滑剤1:LLDPE GRSN−9820としてDow Chemical Companyから市販されているLLDPE。
潤滑剤2:AmeriLubes,L.L.C.から市販されているLICOWAX(登録商標)PED191(高分子量酸化ポリエチレンワックス)。
上に記載したポリエステル樹脂を、重量フィーダにおける減少によって、12ゾーンを備えるZSK−26二軸押出機の第1バレルに供給した。バレル定値温度は、150〜300℃の範囲であり、樹脂は、ゾーン5の前で溶融させた。他の固体成分は、重量フィーダにおける減少によってサイドスタッファーを通してゾーン5で供給した。液体成分は、ゾーン7で供給した。スクリュー速度は、150〜200rpmの範囲であった。押出物を冷却し、慣用の装置を用いてペレット化した。
LEDデバイスにおける発明組成物から作製された部品の挙動を、試料を260℃で10分間曝露することによってシミュレートした。従って、実施例E6〜実施例E8および比較実施例CE1〜比較実施例CE5のそれぞれ一つを用いて、約1.6mmの厚さを有して約50mm直径の円板を調製した。
表2に示されたデータからわかるとおり、本発明による組成物(E6、E7およびE8)は、驚くべきことに、比較実施例CE2、CE4およびCE5と比較して、高熱に10分間曝露後により高い反射率の保持率を示す。

Claims (14)
- ポリマー組成物(C)であって、
− 少なくとも1つの脂環式基を含む繰り返し単位を少なくとも50モル%含む、少なくとも1種のポリエステル(P)、
− TiO2、ZnS、ZnO、CeO2およびBaSO4からなる群から選択される、少なくとも1種の白色顔料、
− 少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤、および
− 前記ポリマー組成物(C)の全重量に基づいて、少なくとも1重量%および最大で4重量%の量で存在し、かつフタル酸エステル、トリメリット酸エステル、安息香酸エステル、テレフタル酸エステル、クエン酸エステル、シクロヘキサン二酸エステル、およびエーテルのオリゴマー/ポリマーのエステルからなる群から選択される、少なくとも200℃の沸点を有する少なくとも1種の可塑剤
を含むポリマー組成物(C)。 - 前記ポリエステル(P)が、前記組成物の全重量に基づいて、45〜60重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記ポリエステル(P)の繰り返し単位の少なくとも50モル%が、テレフタル酸と1,4−シクロヘキシレンジメタノールの重縮合によって得られる、請求項1または2に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記ポリエステル(P)が、ポリ(1,4−シクロヘキシレンジメチレンテレフタレート)である、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤が、シリカ、タルク、クレー、アルミナ、マイカ、ジルコニア、チタニア、酸化スズ、酸化スズインジウム、酸化アンチモンスズ、炭酸カルシウムおよびゼオライトからなる群から選択される、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記少なくとも1種の無機核形成剤が、前記ポリマー組成物(C)の全重量に基づいて、1から5重量%の量で存在する、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記少なくとも1種の可塑剤が、トリメリット酸エステル、安息香酸エステル、およびエーテルのオリゴマー/ポリマーのエステルからなる群から選択される、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記少なくとも1種の可塑剤が、トリメリット酸トリオクチル、ジ安息香酸ネオペンチルグリコールおよびジ−2−エチルヘキサン酸PEG−400からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記白色顔料が、TiO2である、請求項1から8の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- ガラス繊維およびウォラストナイトからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の強化充填剤を更に含む、請求項1から9の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 前記強化充填剤が、前記ポリマー組成物(C)の全重量に基づいて、5〜40重量%で存在する、請求項11に記載のポリマー組成物(C)。
- 請求項1から11の何れか一項に記載のポリマー組成物(C)からなる少なくとも1つの部品を備える物品。
- 前記物品が、発光ダイオード(LED)デバイスである、請求項13に記載の物品。
- 前記部品が、反射板である、請求項14に記載の物品。
