深さ140nmで周期270nmの矩形格子は、透明な紫外線活性化プライマー[(1−メチル−1,2−エタンジイル)ビス[オキシ(メチル−2,1−エタンジイル)]ジアクリレート(1〜20%)、ポリ(オキシ−1,2−エタンジイル)、α−ヒドロキシ−[(1−オキソ−2−プロペン−1−イル)オキシ]−、2−エチル−2−(ヒドロキシメチル)−1,3−プロパンジオールとのエーテル(3:1)(10〜50%)、オリゴ[2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−[4−(1−メチルビニル)フェニル]プロパノン](1〜5%)、オキシビス(メチル−2,1−エタンジイル)ジアクリレート(30〜45%)](91重量%)中にニッケルシムを用いてグラビア印刷によってUV鋳造される。矩形格子は、2質量%のフタルイミド染料及び酢酸エチル中の1%のニトロセルロース結合剤及びメトキシプロパノールを含有するインクを用いて又は2質量%のフタルイミジン染料及び3%の塩化ビニル及びメチルエチルケトン中の酢酸ビニルコポリマーを含有するインクを用いて6ミクロンの巻線バーコーターによって上塗りされる。
Claims (15)
- セキュリティデバイスであって、
低屈折率nlowを有する媒体、又は基材;
発光材料を含む、高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層;及び
導波路層の表面上の、又は媒体もしくは基材と導波路層との間の境界面での、又は導波路層から500nm、特に200nm、非常に特に50nmよりも小さい距離での回折微細構造
を含み、その際、
低屈折率nlowを有する媒体もしくは基材と導波路層との間の屈折率の差が少なくとも0.005、特に少なくとも0.01、非常に特に少なくとも0.1であり;
微細構造の周期(Λ)が100〜1500nm、特に100〜1000nm、非常に特に100〜500nmの範囲であり;
導波路層の質量厚さ(d)が30〜1000nm、特に50〜400nm、非常に特に60〜200nmの範囲であり;且つ
微細構造の深さ(t)が50〜1000nm、特に80〜600nm、非常に特に100〜300nmの範囲である、前記セキュリティデバイス。 - a)低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層;
b)低屈折率nlowを有する媒体上の回析微細構造;
c)該回析微細構造上に、発光材料を含む、高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層;及び任意に
d)低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層
を含むか又は
A)低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層;
B)該低屈折率nlowを有する媒体上に発光材料を含む、高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層;
C)該高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層上に回析微細構造;及び任意に
D)低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層
を含む、請求項1に記載のセキュリティデバイス。 - 低屈折率nlowを有する媒体が、エンボス可能な層、特にエンボス可能なアクリレート層で被覆されたポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリカーボネート、及びポリエチレンテレフタレートから選択される、請求項1又は2に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層がマトリックス材料及び発光材料を含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- マトリックス材料がポリビニルカルバゾール、ポリメチルメタクリレート、UVプライマー、塩化ビニル及び酢酸ビニルコポリマー及びニトロセルロースから選択される、請求項4に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 回析微細構造が270±30nmの範囲の微細構造周期(Λ)を有する回析格子であり;導波路層の厚さ(d)が140±50nmの範囲であり;且つ微細構造の深さ(t)が140±30nmの範囲である、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 回析微細構造が、互いに隣接又は近接している少なくとも2つの部分領域からなり、その際、1つの部分領域が1つの溝方向を含み、別の部分領域が別の異なる溝方向を含み及び/又は1つの部分領域が1つの格子周期を含み且つ別の部分領域が別の異なる格子周期を含む、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 両方の部分領域が回析微細構造中にロゴを含み、発光材料の照射時に第1のロゴが明るく見えて、第2のロゴが溝の方向に応じて暗く見え、且つ回転時に第1のロゴが暗く見えて、第2のロゴが明るく見える、請求項8に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 部分領域が、規定された形、例えば、記号、ストライプ、幾何学的な形状、デザイン、文字、英数文字、それらの対象又は部分の表現を有する、請求項9に記載のセキュリティデバイス。
- 以下の工程:
− 低屈折率nlowを有する媒体を提供する工程、
− エンボシングによって低屈折率nlowを有する媒体中に回折微細構造を形成する工程、
− 該回折微細構造上に発光材料を含む(ポリマー)層(高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層)を堆積させる工程;及び任意に
− 該導波路層上に低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層を堆積させる工程
を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のセキュリティデバイスの製造方法。 - 以下の工程:
− 低屈折率nlowを有する媒体を提供する工程、
− 該低屈折率nlowを有する媒体上に発光材料を含む(ポリマー)層(高屈折率nhighを有する導波路層)を堆積させる工程、
− 該導波路層上にエンボシングによって回折微細構造を形成する工程;及び任意に
− 該導波路層上に低屈折率nlowを有する媒体の層を堆積させる工程
を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のセキュリティデバイスの製造方法。 - 全ての堆積工程がロールツーロールプロセスの一部である、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のセキュリティデバイスを、紙幣、クレジットカード、パスポート、チケットの製造に及びブランド保護の目的に用いる使用。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のセキュリティデバイスを含む、例えば、紙幣、クレジットカード、パスポート、又はチケットなどの製品。
