Claims (18)
- 少なくともコークスを含有する混合物の焼成によって製造されている炭素体であって、前記コークスが、黒鉛化能が低いコークスであることを特徴とする前記炭素体。
- 前記コークスが、球状の形態を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭素体。
- 前記コークスが、該コークスの2800℃での熱処理の後の、平均層間隔c/2から計算される、MaireとMehringによる黒鉛化度0.50以下を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の炭素体。
- コークスの粒度が、0.2mmを上回り、好ましくは0.5mmを上回ることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体。
- 前記コークスが、乾燥混合物に対して、高くても25質量%の量で、好ましくは10〜20質量%の量で含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体。
- 前記コークスが、タマネギの皮状の構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体。
- 前記コークスが、20〜40m2/gのBET表面積を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体。
- カソードブロック又は炉壁レンガであることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体。
- カソードブロックが、黒鉛化カソードブロックであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の炭素体。
- 無煙炭、黒鉛及び/又はコークスもしくはそれらの混合物、石油もしくは石炭をベースとするバインダーの群から選択される少なくとも1種のバインダー並びに合成樹脂をベースとするバインダー及び上述のバインダーの任意の混合物並びに任意に添加剤を混合する工程と、該混合物を予め決められた形状に成形する工程と、成形された混合物を焼成する工程と、任意に、焼成された成形体を黒鉛化する工程とを含む、炭素体の製造方法において、前記コークスが、黒鉛化能が低いコークスであることを特徴とする前記製造方法。
- 前記コークスが、球状の形態を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記コークスが、該コークスの2800℃での熱処理の後の、平均層間隔c/2から計算される、MaireとMehringによる黒鉛化度0.50以下を有することを特徴とする、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 前記の球状の形態を有するコークスが、0.2mmを上回る、好ましくは0.5mmを上回る粒度を有することを特徴とする、請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記の球状の形態を有するコークスが、乾燥混合物に対して、高くても25質量%の量で、好ましくは10〜20質量%の量で添加されることを特徴とする、請求項10から13までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記の球状の形態を有するコークスが、タマネギの皮状の構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項10から14までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記の球状の形態を有するコークスが、20〜40m2/gのBET表面積を有することを特徴とする、請求項10から15までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体、特に請求項10から16までのいずれか1項に記載の方法により製造された該炭素体を、機械、化学装置、熱交換器における部材として、高温部材用のライニングとして又は電極として用いる使用。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の炭素体、特に請求項10から16までのいずれか1項に記載の方法により製造される該炭素体を、アルミニウムの製造のための電気分解セル中のカソードブロックとして、製鉄のための高炉における炉壁レンガとして、シリコンの炭素熱的製造に際しての電極として、高炉のためのライニングとして、成形工具として、溶融るつぼ及び保温るつぼのためのライニングとして、又はアルミニウム、チタン、シリコン、鉄、鉄合金、リン、ガラスもしくはセメントの製造のための鋳造用樋及び流出用樋のためのライニングとして、フッ素の製造のためのアノードとして、マグネシウム、ナトリウムもしくはリチウムの製造のためのアノードとして、クロロアルカリ電気分解でのアノードとして、加熱管もしくは加熱リングとして、プレート型加熱エレメントとして、非鉄金属溶融物用のガス抜き管もしくはガス分配システムとして、パッキングとして、ダイヤモンド工具として、高電圧スイッチ用のノズルとして、ペブルベッド炉用の黒鉛減速球として、連続鋳造、ダイカスト、遠心鋳造もしくは鉄輪鋳造の分野での鋳造型として、ガラス金属封じとろう付け接合による半導体封じ込めの製造に際してのハンダもしくはガラス溶融型として、管束型熱交換器として、管板として、プレート型熱交換器として、塔として、保護管、シーブトレイ、トンネルキャップトレイ、泡鐘トレイ、液体分配器、多孔形リアクター、ポンプ又は破裂板として用いる使用。
