Abstract
【解決手段】成形用組成物は、パイプが酸化作用を示す消毒剤を含む液体と長期間接触したとき熱酸化分解に対する改良した抵抗性を示すパイプの製造に適している。このような成形用組成物は、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンに加えて、添加剤として0.01〜1.0重量%のポリオキシ化合物及び/又はポリヒドロキシ化合物を含む。また、成形用組成物は、5重量%までの量の不飽和脂肪族炭化水素もさらに含むことが出来る。

(式中、nは1〜10の整数であり、mは3〜500の整数であり、Rは水素原子またはOH基または1〜10個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であり、当該アルキル基は−OH、−COOH、−COOR、−OCH3もしくは−OC2H5のような置換基を有しても良い。)の有機ポリオキシ化合物
または、一般化学式:
RO−CH2−C−(CH2−OR)3
(式中、Rは水素原子または1〜5個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であることができ、−OH、−COOH、−COOR、−OCH3もしくは−OC2H5のような置換基を有しても良い。)の有機ポリヒドロキシ化合物
またはこの2化合物の組合せを含むことを際だった特徴とする成形用組成物により達成される。
R1−[(CHR2)−CH=CH−CHR3]n−R4
(式中、R1およびR4は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−OCH3または−CH2OHであり、R2およびR3は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−C2H5または−C3H7である。)の不飽和脂肪族炭化水素化合物をさらに含むことができる。
密度が0.946g/cm3及びメルトフローインデックスMI190/5が0.3g/10分を示す高分子量中密度PE粉末を、モル質量が9000g/モルのポリエチレングリコールを0.1%、Vestenamer 8012を1%及びIRGANOX1330を0.35%と共に混合し、Coperion Werner & Pfleiderer GmbH & Co KG製ZSK 53上で220℃の溶融温度でペレット化した。得られたペレットを、Battenfeld製パイプ押出ユニットに220℃の溶融温度で処理して、直径16×2mmのパイプを製造した。次いで、得られたパイプを電子ビームにより架橋した。適用した放射線量は120kGyだった。架橋度をDIN EN16892に準拠して測定し、66%だった。
(実施例2)
実施例1からの密度が0.946g/cm3及びメルトフローインデックスMI190/5が0.3g/10分を示す高分子量MDPE粉末を、モル質量が400g/モルのポリエチレングリコールを0.1%及びIRGANOX1330を0.35%と共に混合し、ペレット化し、押出して直径16×2mmのパイプを製造し、得られたパイプを電子ビームにより120kGyで架橋した。架橋度をDIN EN16892に準拠して測定し、64%だった。
実施例1からの密度が0.946g/cm3及びメルトフローインデックスMI190/5が0.3g/10分を示す高分子量MDPE粉末を、モル質量が400g/モルのポリエチレングリコールを0.2%及びIRGANOX1330を0.35%と共に混合し、ペレット化し、押出して直径16×2mmのパイプを製造し、得られたパイプを電子ビームにより120kGyで架橋した。架橋度をDIN EN16892に準拠して測定し、66%だった。

- 改良した耐−熱酸化分解性を示すパイプ製造用ポリオレフィン成形用組成物であって、当該成形用組成物が熱可塑性ポリオレフィンと、さらに、成形用組成物の総重量を基準に、0.01重量%〜1.0重量%の量の、一般化学式:

- ポリヒドロキシ化合物として、ペンタエリトリトール、トリメチロールプロパン、グリセロール、マンニトールまたはソルビトールを含む請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 0.01重量%〜0.5重量%、好ましくは、0.1重量%〜0.3重量%の量のポリヒドロキシ化合物を含む請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 一般化学式:
R1−[(CHR2)−CH=CH−CHR3]n−R4
(式中、R1およびR4は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−OCH3または−CH2OHであり、R2およびR3は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−C2H5または−C3H7である。)の不飽和脂肪族炭化水素化合物をさらに含む請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。 - 成形用組成物の総重量を基準に、0.1重量%〜5重量%の量の不飽和脂肪族炭化水素化合物を含む請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 不飽和脂肪族炭化水素化合物として、ポリイソプレン、ポリオクテナマーまたはポリデセナマーを含む請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとして、ポリエチレンもしくはポリプロピレンまたはこれらのコポリマーと、さらに4〜10個の炭素原子を有するオレフィン性不飽和モノマーとを含む請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 熱安定剤、抗酸化剤、UV吸収剤、光安定剤、金属脱奪活剤、過酸化物−破壊化合物、基本的補助安定剤をさらに含み、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンに加えて、0〜10重量%、好ましくは、0〜5重量%の量で存在できる、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物。
- 熱酸化分解に対して酸化作用を示す消毒剤を含む液体と長期間接触する、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンを含むパイプの抵抗性を改良する方法であって、請求項1に記載のポリオレフィン成形用組成物の押出によりパイプを製造する、当該改良方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン成形用組成物が、一般化学式:
R1−[(CHR2)−CH=CH−CHR3]n−R4
(式中、R1およびR4は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−OCH3または−CH2OHであり、R2およびR3は、各々独立して互いに、−H、−CH3、−C2H5または−C3H7である。)の不飽和脂肪族炭化水素化合物をさらに含む請求項12に記載の改良方法。 - 酸化作用を示す消毒剤を含む液体と長期間接触する、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンを含むパイプの安定性を改良するためのポリオキシ化合物またはポリヒドロキシ化合物の使用であって、ポリオキシ化合物またはポリヒドロキシ化合物を、パイプの製造前に、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンに対する添加剤として、ポリオレフィンと添加剤との総重量を基準に、0.01〜1.0重量%の量で添加する、前記ポリオキシ化合物またはポリヒドロキシ化合物の使用。
- ポリオキシ化合物またはポリヒドロキシ化合物に加えて熱可塑性ポリオレフィンに不飽和脂肪族炭化水素を加える、請求項14に記載の使用。
